ReplyDeleteoh no, i can't believe what i just did to the bunny! And he thanked me! Very strange and perverse quirks, here.

rode the dragon right on outta there. click on what looks like a camera the dragon is holding in the end scene and get a "success prayer" present. That's almost as good as a Happy coin!
ReplyDeletezoz, a walkthrough for me, please.
ReplyDeleteSo what do we do with that Golden Ball? And I understand what to do with the dragon claws, but don't the dragon!
ReplyDeleteOK, @KatesKat, working on a WT now.
ReplyDeleteOh, suddenly what I was doing with the dragon worked. Not sure why! Followed the arrow on the paper for the order of body parts to use on the dragon. But it took many tries for it to work for me!
ReplyDeleteHow do AmerCIAns understand Japanese game design?
ReplyDeleteHey zoz I thought that was a good joke

Welcome to the Tatsu Room 2012! Get ready to be perplexed and discombobulated (if not worse)!
1. Click on Start (possible the last normal thing you'll do in this game).
2. Look in drawer and see "052 YOU". Rather than saying, "Well, 052 you, too, buddy!" as I did, try to see this as a clue. @Leroy had the best (only) interpretation of this clue (and I quote): "205 and YOU in drawer? ordered alphabetically and numbers upsidedown?" Thanks @larue for the spoiler.
3. Go left and enter 205 for the code and press the red key below the number. Take the "grabber tool" (which is a euphemism for something I simply won't say here).
4. Go left twice and use the "grabber tool" on the pink bunny's butt (x marks the spot).
5. The bunny actually thanks you! Thank God I never had to use this technique in wildlife rehabilitation of the Eastern Cottontail. I think I would have to quit right then and there. Anyway,
6.Take the Green Stuff left behind (pun intended) and go right and smear it on the picture above the writhing fish (the picture that looks like 3 eels). The resulting work of scatological art will give a clue for the dragon talons in the start scene. Not a very good clue, but it's something.
7. Go right or left twice and position the dragon talons like so: Clockwise from the top, DRLU. Click on the Golden Ball to remove it from the dragon's clutch.
8. Meanwhile, go to the dragon on the wall (above the writing that translates from the Chinese to Zhou Fu) and molest it as follows (thanks to @Andrea for this): click, in this order, horn eye horn nose eye mouth. Take the Hammer that, of course, was hiding on the dragon's tongue.
9. Go left or right twice and use the Hammer on the mochi cake atop the little house and take the Fish Food.
10. Give the food to the fish and stand back as he goes through an amazing metamorphosis into a rather small, somewhat sleepy dragon.
11. Give the Golden Ball to the dragon, look at his face, then back up, click on him as he bounces with irrepressible vigor, and ride him out of the Tatsu Room once and for all.
12. You'll see a red arrow pointing at something the dragon is holding; click on that thing and get a present (which varies from game to game, but it always good).
I never did anything with the demon on the paper that you click on to make a Cubist demon, so there is probably at least one other ending. I'm just too traumatized by the whole experience to try to find it.
@KatesKat, to answer your question, we mostly cheat :-)
ReplyDelete@Gail, your solution to the dragon/hammer puzzle makes perfect sense. Once the features of the demon on the paper have been rearranged, make a note of what appears from left to right: horn, eye, horn, nose, eye, mouth!
ReplyDeletezoz, you rock,
ReplyDeletebecause of you,

Nice One ;)

ReplyDeletelol @ zoz's Bizarro - Through :)
ReplyDeleteI found a clue to the number/word puzzle in drawer. If you click, directly under, right corner of drawer, you get a view of two hands one is forming an O=0 and the second forming a V/U=2. That would leave the Y to be 5, but still not sure how that helps to understand the numbers are backwards or upside down or both.
ReplyDeleteNice find @Maggie! Seems to be a sort of sign language, but sign language is, unfortunately, not international... but if the closed hand is O (which = 0) and the other is Y (which = 2), then U would = 5. Although this begins to make just a little bit of sense, there are still so many questions; like, "why is there a window in the scene under the desk?" and "why is there a 'Win!!' sign above the mysterious 3 digit code?" and "why the heck do I care?".
ReplyDeleteDead link.
