ReplyDelete@Faben 32, you don't dial "heat" on the cell phone, you use the cell phone to know what numbers correspond to each letter and use those numbers in the box that needs a 4-digit code. The cell phone does nothing at all more than show you the numbers. Is that too confusing?

OK, what follows is not really a walkthrough. SSSG is so smart he provides us with a real, decent, built-in walkthrough, but feel free to read on. It might amuse you. :) There it goes, in parts!

ReplyDeleteSo we are "working" by the beach again, when we get trapped in this horrible beach house...
You wake up and find a paper on the bed with lovely coloured fish! For some reason their eyes are a bit wonky... You can't see properly and you realise the room is too dark because one of the ceiling lamps by the glass doors is not working, so you check it out and - a purple gem is stuck in there! You try taking it out, but - ZAP! - and you decide to look for some insulated tool to help you.
Looking around you find a bathroom to the left, where you flip a switch, just because you can't resist doing it, but feels frustrated because nothing happens... There's also a box on the sink with suspiciously familiar coloured dials. You have seen those wonky eyes before! You can't write things down because you still have no map of this place, how awful! So with lots of effort you memorise the colour order and go check the note on the bed, come back and open the box to get a silver key. (Have you noticed that pretty number that turns green when you touch it? Memorise it!)
Part 2
ReplyDeleteSo now you need to find a silver keyhole... but before that, you can resist no longer and start collecting the gold coins! Going through the silver door you find a map! Yay! You pet your map and eagerly open it to start taking notes, then you notice something sparkly in it: a blue diamond-like gem! Going to room I you find the 5-marble box. (Nice to know you keep on being kidnapped by the same criminals, at least you know their tricks!) The TV is on with no one around, how wasteful! Then again, they do leave gold coins scattered all over the place... so no complaints! :P
Going to room D you are delighted to find a mobile/cell phone! Great, call reinforcements! Oh, boy, it doesn't work! :( You didn't think they would make it that easy for you to escape, did you? They did forget a pretty marble on the table, though. In room K you find a screwed down vent. Yay! A reason to hope for a screwdriver! In room P you get your second black marble. Only 3 more to find! In room L you find a box with 3 coloured dials. Hmmm... You did find a green number in room A... you need 2 more coloured numbers!
Part 3
ReplyDeleteYou check room M to find a strange hint on the fireplace and a sneaky coin entangled in some vines! Those pink flowers are so pretty! You touch them and they immediately fall, awww! But, but... they reveal an even prettier diamond-like red gem! Moving on to room N you notice a nice ornament on a vase and as soon as you touch it, it falls off! Quite a dangerous touch you have today... but it turns out to be another marble! In room Q you find a hammer lying there, looking quite lonely, so you take it.
In room R you find another switch you can't resist flipping, but are again frustrated when nothing happens. There is also a box with 3 diamond-like slots. Hmmm, you already have 2 diamond-like things, you only need one more! In room S you feel sorry for not having a tennis partner, but grateful that someone left a nice ball you can play with. Oh, I see, the ball is hiding something: another marble! Only one more to find! Maybe that conveniently forgotten shovel will help? Better take note of those pretty flags, too.
Part 4
ReplyDeleteYou go straight to room X to check out your means of escaping, the jet ski! Shiny! Get those goggles, you might need them. You notice how odd the sand looks here, all fluffed up, so you decide to pat it down with your shovel so no one will trip and get hurt and you discover a pretty yellow gem! Wow, doing others good is so rewarding! After such physical effort you feel hot, so you go to room U and since you have your goggles, you can recover your last black marble! Yay! To celebrate you swimm to the end of the pool, down a slide and end up in room W, where you find a pretty green diamond-like gem!
Woohoo! All 5 marbles and all 3 diamond-like gems! You rush to put them to use! In room R you place your 3 gems and - voilà - power crystal! Now you can teleport to any room in your map! Good, walking under that heat was exhausting you! So now you can use your marbles. Beam me up to room I, Scotty! Open the box and yay! Black key! If you haven't yet wandered around the house, feel free to do so to find the black door... or... teleport to room... ready?... room N. Now open the black door to room O. :)
Part 5
ReplyDeleteInside room O you find... the screwdriver! MY PRECIOUS!!! After 3 hours... you snap out of it and notice a pretty yellow 8 and another frustrating "I don't want to work" switch. You feel so frustrated and tired you decid to take a nap on that comfy bed. And ouch! There's something sharp under the pillow! An orange gem! Renewed by that finding, it's time to use your precious! Teleport to room K and open that vent to get the white key. Now, would you like me to stall so you can find the white door on your own? Go on, I can wait... *Whistles...* Ready? Yay! Beam yourself up to room D and get into room C with your white key.
In room C there is another switch, which you hopelessly flip, only to find out it works! Somehow... You're not sure what it did, but at least it flips. :) And what about that HEAT box? (No, it's not a mini-radiator, or a mini-sauna.) You ponder about the box having 4 letters and requiring a 4-digit number code. One letter for each number? Yes? Lol, of course! But, but... what could the numbers be? Hmmm... you still have a so far useless cell phone in your inventory, which once you click on, pops up at your face to show you a keypad... Go on, have a think.
Part 6
ReplyDeleteReady? Right! If you ever texted your friends with a mobile/cell phone, you should have no major problems with solving the 4-digit code. If you haven't, here is comes: each letter can be found on the cell phone keypad; for each letter you find on the keypad, take a note of the number on the same key where you found the letter. You will end up with one number for each letter, totalling 4 numbers. Use them in the order of the letters "HEAT", that is your 4-digit code. Open the box and get your prize! Yay, pretty pink gem!
OK, you are excited because the screwdriver is still in your inventory! Maybe you get to take it home this time? My precious!!! While you are playing with your screwdriver, it suddenly gets caught in a dent inside the 4-digit box you just opened and POP! Out comes the blue key! Yay! You are so hyper about it that you decide to find another place where you can use your precious, so you beam up to room V. Getting there, the sun is hot, so you decide to dive in the pool once more. Yay, a screwed vent! Use your precious to recover a blue gem!
Part 7
ReplyDeleteNow you have a blue key, so... go on, wander about, I'll wait. :) Tired? May I spoil it? Please? Ready or not... beam up to room H, Captain, and open the blue door to room G. Inside you find some treasure! Insulated pliers ("insulated, hmmm...), a red 2 (a third coloured number, where did you see a 3-coloured-something box?), a 6-letter box (you saw a hint for this before too!) and another switch. You touch the switch with great expectations, but... blah, another non-working switch. Turn your eyes to the 6-letter box at hand. You saw 6 letters as a strange hint above a fireplace, remember? Room M...
OK, now that you're back from checking the fireplace hint (Tau Poi), you must try to crack the box open. Remember the criminals that locked you up here are old "acquaintances" of yours... you know their tricks. I can wait for you to check if "Tau Poi" is not the code for the box, just in case. No? I thought so! :P OK, have another think about it, I'll just snuggle with the teddy bear while I wait. *Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...* Uh? Who, where, when? Ah, that's you! Right, so, the code for the 6-letter box? Anagram Tau Poi... and get your golden reward! Which we shall put to use right now!

ReplyDeleteScotty, beam us to room D, please! Now make your way to room E. There you'll find a big lever-looking switch and... who needs small switches with a big one lying about so tempting? Just because you are reckless, you'll flip it! And... wait... nothing? Hmmm... maybe you should return to the small switches, this big one is disappointing. ;) Since you are here, you might as well check the bathroom in room F. A bubble bath should be relaxing! But, but... the button is jammed! A-ha! You have a trusty hammer with you, that should be hard enough! *Smack!* Uh-oh, I think you broke it! Quick, grab that gem, flip the switch and run!
So, hmmm, *ahem!*... Do you come here often? *Whistles...* Ah, OK, I think no one heard the bathtub cracking, so let's get back to business! Run after the switches in the house that had frustrated you before and flip them all down. Do you need me to tell you the rooms they are at? Really?! I thought you had been keeping notes on your beloved map! Oh, OK... You already flipped successfully the ones at rooms C and F, so now time to run to rooms A, G, R and O. Cool, now they work! They... they do... something. You hope. Anyway, you still have clues to follow, things to do!
Part 9

Right, so now you're missing only one gem (oh, come on, you knew that, I'm not spoiling anything! :P), and you have one thing left to open: the 3-coloured dial box in room L. Do you remember the three numbers you found around the house? They have the same colours as the dials on the box, so put them together and open the box! YAY! Collect your shiny prize! Now you have all 7 gems! Time to place them in... the gems' safe... wherever it is... (Oh, you knew there was a gems' safe, come on! You have been kidnapped, caught and trapped by the same gang so many times! Thanks, you are amusing. :P)
I'll let you look for the safe, go on. :) No? Yes? Maybe? Too tired? Already looked and couldn't find it? OK, it is... in... room... E. (You need all 6 small switches flipped down to make the safe appear.) Now you can place the gems! Go on, I'll wait. Uh? What? You don't know the order? Oh, maybe you need to relax a bit. I suggest you go play some tennis... sports are good for you! The tennis court is in room S. *Waits...* Ah, back already?! Good! Place those gems now, then. :) Get your escape keys! Scotty, beam me up to room X! Use your jet ski keys and...

Boo-hoo, encountered a bug...!
I can place blue crystal from map only once in a slot for the 3 crystals, but not again after taking it out for another order (for green & red it works).
Tried in (newest) FF & Chrome, tried to place crystal in several places in inventory & take it from there, tried to put blue crystal in another of the 3 slots first, tried to put the other ones first, cleaned cache & cookies - everything no go...!
:-(
Hope you can fix it... Nevertheless TVM for your always entertaining games!
