ReplyDeletePeteB - you need to cover the coconut with something. Check all the items on the clothes line. Then you can paint. :)

ReplyDeleteNo shovel--no crows--just clicking. Got second branch (don't have first) and pared it with knife; it went back in inventory as original branch and won't let me fix it again. I'm sorry, but it is very frustrating for those of us who enjoy but are not brilliant at these games to have endless comments of Out, Easy, Found it, POP. For those of you who take the time to do walk throughs, thank you so much!

ReplyDeleteZomm on the left, where dog is. Here, pick up the hat (on the fence), the shovel (behind the bush, on the left over the fence).
Then move the cart, and dig here with the shovel to take a clow. Take a look at the flowers and write down their colors.
Zoom out, then on the dress cord on the right. Now, zomm at the birdhouse, and enter the flower colors as a code to take a paintbrush.
Zoom out, and take the dress and the cloth hanging on the cord.
Move the lower right rocks to take the second clow, and a color palette. Move the far right flowers to get a knife. At least, take the wood, a bit left to the tree.
Zoom out, and use your knife on the upper right branch of the right tree. Take the fallen branch, drag it onto your screen and use your knife again on it.
Now zoom at the coconut tree, on top of it. Use your knife to get a coconut.
Zoom out and zomm in to the dog. Here cut the vine (left part) with... tadaaam... your knife !
Drag the coconut on the screen. Put the robe on it, then close the "about item" view. Drag the palette on the screen, and use the paintbrush on it. Then, close the A.I. view, open the coconut and use your paintbrus on it. Repeat this twice (put paintbrush in palette, then paint the coconut) to get different colors, until your coconut is fully painted ;-)
Now drag the dark wood on screen, then other wood, then tie them with vine. Now you can put cloth on cross, then head, then clows and at least the hat. Now click on your new scarecrow's face to put it back in inventory.
So, put the scarecrow on the hole, and the dog leaves you a key. Take it and zoom out.
Use your key on the door, enter the house and... you're ...ahem... in !
Too much of a click fest for me. Plus, you have to click in just the exact right spot or you get nothing.
ReplyDeleteGames where the only thing you can do is click on every pixel hoping to find something are no fun. Even after finding everything with the WT (thank you Yannoche!) I could only get the sticks tied and the shirt on, then nothing. Somehow, I think by accident, I moved the head into the inventory box with one of the pieces of wood and then I could build the scarecrow. So you have 4 or 5 pieces in the inventory, but you can't proceed until you put the head in a box with one stick. That sure makes sense. Really wish developers would use changing cursor to a hand over hot spots in these games where there are no clues or logic to finding items.

ReplyDeleteI'm grateful for the walkthrough and the hints too, but the wheelbarrow doesn't move for me - and by 'crows' and 'clows' do people mean gloves? I spend ages looking for birds and claws! Had to leave without being able to finish.
