    ReplyDelete
  30. @Selfdefiant,

Now I understand your riddle, but you didn't think that some people don't have a QWERTY keyboard ! In France and in Belgium, our keyboards are AZERTY (look here http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Clavier-Azerty.svg ). In Germany, they have QWERTZ keyboards...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks for this great game, SD!!!!
Blue key and WUGS were really tricky, but we want it hard!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. SD must have a "thing" about the color blue - lol! Blue key and blue gem - both very sneaky!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Perhaps he has got the blues....;))))

  34. Self.... --- This one is really tricky, Use the arrow and look a the keyboard. W=E, U=I and so on, then anagram then convert to numbers...

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anneli: Yes, blue key is in 'i'
to the left of the towel, but very near it ad towards the bottom. There is a little drawer that you click on.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I don't get this at ALL! also, when I try to convert WUGS to EIHD I get 5984, which doesn't open the briefcase. backwards or forwards. neither does WUSG converted (re: SD's hints at 10:05). Can anybody please explain this to me???

    ReplyDelete
  37. zoz: anagram EIHD, and you will get SPOILERhideSPOILER. Then convert them to the right numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  38. OK, forget to go to the new page, doh. I understand it now, after reading comments. Still, this is something I would expect on one of Jon and Small-tool's riddles, but not here!
Anyway, thanks for the vacation in a beautiful home @SD!

  40. I figured out that W = E because E is right next to W on the computer keyboard therefore U=I, G=H and S=D... however i can't figure out how to convert those four letters into four numbers... anyone? I've tried 5984 and 3146 but it doesn't work...?

    ReplyDelete
  41. fannar - EIHD is anagramed to HIDE. Then use the alphabet...

    ReplyDelete

I have a question for either SD or to anyone who might know this: Is there a way to get a notification when there is a new SD game so you can always catch the live games?

    ReplyDelete
  49. What is wrong with these melting-mindz selfdefiant games lately ? I haven't been able to play the last 3 or 4 of them - just get a white screen. Never used to have problem . . .

    ReplyDelete
  66. Please help - whats the code for Isobel?
    I've tried everything

    ReplyDelete
  67. For once, glad that I missed the live game. WUGS is now EIHD, so you only have to solve a more conventional anagram-numbers.

zoni: SD most often posts on Mon, Wed, and Fri before noon Eastern time. Sometimes, he or his co-conspirators surprise us with a different time or day. I kind of like the surprise of coming to the page and "magically" finding a new game!

The butterflies give the position for the gems in the safe
Brogy initials of colours (B for browns, r for red) somewhere are dots in those colours. Press them according to the position an you'll get the golden key

    ReplyDelete
  85. okay there isn't a drawer next to the towel FCE in I. I ve used a magnify glass and I ve clicked

    ReplyDelete
  86. okay people here's the clue in I for the blue key. I know its a spoiler and I know you want it. so there IS a little drawer to the left of the towel. Use FCE F=6 C=3 E= 5

  93. Thanks SD. And thanks to the "solution team" for the hints, some of which I could not have figured out on my own.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thanks SelfDefiant, great game as always especially with the extra sneaky blue key!

  95. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Man, this was really sneaky - I did everything on my own besides the blue key and the WUGS. Those would have left me in agony. That WUGS thing would have been nice if there had been a hint for the keyboard. Anyway, it was something else, esc. for those complaining there wouldn't be enough variation (which I don't do). Thanks, SD!

And zoni, SD announces new Sneakys and Asylums in Facebook, just like the Melting-Mindz site.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Soooooooo good, once Selfdefiant gave the clue for the Blue key, all fell into place, Thanks again for a great game

  105. @joLow1,

If I lived in such a glittering house, I would have to wear sunglasses even at home... lol

Well, more seriously about the WUGS puzzle, nobody with a QWERTY keyboard seems to have solved the puzzle without help from SD... so, imagine how it could be solved when you have an AZERTY keyboard...

    ReplyDelete
  106. my suitcase says DIEH cant make out a code

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hooorayy!! The game saves!! SD, you are the BEST!

I war prepared to replay the entire game until the blue key find but the game was saved. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  108. That was a great great game. After finding the blue key and after the QWERTZ-unfriendly wugs was replaced everything fell into place very smoothly.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Marc Habers, DIEH is an anagram, think that was said often in above posts.

  130. Alright...I realize it is 1:30am, but I have not played games for almost a month, so of course I had to play Sneaky first, which, by the way, was a great game and very, very, very Sneaky ;) Thank you SelfDefiant for a fantastic game!!!!

@Flora: given my propensity to overthink just about everything, I thank you for the sneak peak I finally had to give in and look for to get the panel code :) I was anagramming, using numbers to replace the letters in the alphabet, counting the letters in "Isobel's" message, but did not see what was right in front of me, which were the numbers Isobel formed to turn on the power....lol!!!! Thank you so much :)

Everything else I had fun with...the elusive 100th coin was never found but I don't mind finishing with 99 :)

@Peggy & LaChatonFou: Great WT's...thank you so much for taking the time to identify where everything was! Walkthroughs are truly a labor of, in some cases, pity for those of us who are absolutely stuck ;) And I appreciate the work that goes into creating them. Thank you both!!!!!!

Great game...now I would love an Asylum to haunt and search!
