  14. don't understand the letter puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hi, I got what looks like 4 diggits but can't put it anywhere, all I have left are the locked doors, the color wheels (not activated yet) and the 4 letter puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  16. there are 4 letters - make an anagram, starting with

    E

    ReplyDelete
  17. Out! For last code click the number of rings.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thanks SarahB. Now the rotating puzzle has me stumped.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Thanks SarahB. Now the rotating puzzle has me stumped.

    ReplyDelete
  20. nevermind it wasn't 4 diggits but upside letters!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I think that the grid where I put a battery is a calendar, and some days (numbers) are highlighted when I press the green button.
Weird calendar, because Sunday seems to be the first day of the week !

    ReplyDelete
  22. Sunday IS the first day of the week :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anyone solved the 4 buttons puzzle behind the picture ?

    ReplyDelete
  24. The problem is that this code can't be used anywhere. I'm totally stuck with 1 tile and some kind of chalice.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Nope, and I've tried all the combinations of the rings, it just isn't obvious

    ReplyDelete
  26. press button as often as rings on button

    ReplyDelete
  27. I've just found the actual calendar near the rabbits !

    ReplyDelete
  28. POP, it was simple in fact, just count the white circles, and click each button the right number of times

    ReplyDelete
  29. spoiler please for rotating gear puzzle

    ReplyDelete
  30. pdgph, the calender gives you a four digit number ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. My goodness, I think I've tried every possible combination.. Thanks tautau!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. @chrisso, yes I figured that, still thanks for answering quickly ;)

    ReplyDelete
  33. just click twice on the first ring, 3x on the second, once on the third and twice on the last

    ReplyDelete
  34. Irene, the four coloured lines - turn the gears to make them as in the picture

    ReplyDelete
  35. pdgph, just use the calendar with the grid, check your calendar to figure out a 4 diggit number, in the order given by the lights, so the first number is 4 and ends with 7

    ReplyDelete
  36. The picture shows blue on top, yellow on the right, green on the bottom and red on the left. Will each gear look the same or will the top left one look like the picture and the other gears match the color adjacent to the next one.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I have 1 piece of the picture puzzle, a chalice (that I can find no place for) a calendar, the rabbits' eggs (red flower, blue heart, green star) does not seem to work on the cupboard, I can find no keys, screwdrivers or other tools...and seeing people saying 'I'm out' is very frustrating. Help please :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. finally figured out the gear puzzle.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh dear, after that Abroy game I played the Escape men and have seen now there's a TomaTea! So the only thing that could top it would be a Robamimi...

    ReplyDelete
  40. Everyone loves Tomatea, but these games are always overdone, to the effect of maneuvering minutia without actual puzzle-solving. It's just excessive. There's a difference between being difficult, and being obnoxious.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thanks Tomatea, that was a great 'Easter Joy'! :)

@SMP I think you should keep from Flash512 games too, then. They're no puzzle-solving games either, it's just "find element in drawer - put element somewhere - compartment opens, revealing element 2 - put element 2 somewhere else..." :) One step artificially split up into up to 9 steps...

    ReplyDelete
  42. It's funny, because Flash512 is equally annoying. Good quality games, but just so different from Ainars or SelfDefiant.

    ReplyDelete
  43. hineraukatauri, check out the number of lines on those eggs to determine the order to enter the shapes.

    ReplyDelete
  44. LOL SMP, that was definitively the comment with the highest rate of foreign words I have seen on this site!

But I don't really agree with you. Yes those TomaTea games are hard but not unlogical. For example, I had the two eggs hanging in the cupboard and thought first they were numbers. Then I ran around looking for a place to put them in, found none but realised that I could change the letters now. So the letters had something to do with the numbers, and after a close look it was plain that it wasn't 9359 but GESG. That didn't work so it had to be an anagram which is often used in escape games. The only thing I needed help for was the button pressing, and I think most of us were overthinking at that point.

We love TomaTea for being hard but logical. I don't remember a game with a puzzle no one could explain in the end. This and outstanding graphics, plus being unable bruteforcing (the you-don't-have-a-clue notes) and the rareness make them standing on the same level as Tesshi-e.

I must admit, your review of TomaTea is for me more and more my opinion about Flash512.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Arbeitslooser, I see we're two of a kind.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @aridza,

Yes, that's what I did, but I couldn't do this before I saw the calendar hidden behind the rabbits.
I have 3 tiles, a chalice that fits nowhere and a red egg.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm giving up this one, it's too difficult.

    ReplyDelete
  48. For the gears puzzle, only consider the rectangle formed in the middle. Ignore the outer spokes.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Huw,

I've solved the gears puzzle. But I'm stuck anyway with the stupid chalice, a red egg and 3 tiles.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Look in cupboard under solved gears puzzle for colour clue to another puzzle, which then gives key to cupboard under basket of eggs.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @pdgph Hi! Can you help me?
I'm stuck with the chalice and with two tiles.Where is the third? The game doesn't allow me to solve the four letter puzzle. Is it because I can't get the green egg out of the cabinet? Nor I can solve the gear puzzle or the four egg puzzle with the heart missing. And I am still missing the keys to oper the cabinets. What am I missing?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Hi averybody :)
I write rarely, I'm sorry but I always read all your comments and you all are wonderful!

The code GEGS is not exactly an anagram.
Two rabbits on the seesaw are the clue to understand that code. Rotate two eggs the same as two rabbits are, so you can read the right word :)

  54. Nevermind, I am out! I just missed to put the red egg next to the green one in the cabinet. ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  55. @Huw,

Yes, I've solved this colour puzzle, but I'm stuck with the chalice, the red egg and 3 tiles.

    ReplyDelete
  56. ... and I've opened all the cupboards, solved all the puzzle. I can't see what I'm missing.

    ReplyDelete
  57. POP, now I have the 4th tile ! No idea where it came from. Maybe I'm going to finish this game...

    ReplyDelete
  58. What about the order for the buttons in the final (?) puzzle ?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Great game. As usually.

    ReplyDelete
  60. for the buttons just click the number of circles

    ReplyDelete
  61. Whoa, two TomaTea games this close? Christmas in April? :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. What a great game, can't believe I was stuck at the final hurdle with the buttons, lol!

    ReplyDelete
  63. @kikidi ,

Thank you for your help !

    ReplyDelete
  64. went round once all i got was 1 part of a picture don't understand any thing else not my cup of tea so moving on

    ReplyDelete
  65. I have one tile and a door handle. There are virtually no helpful hints above. Nothing about the 4 yellow chicks, nothing about clues to solve the puzzles. There's usually a lot more help in these games, but not this time.

It's amazing to me that some people ask (more like demand) answers, and then just say things like this:

"Yes, I've solved this colour puzzle, but I'm stuck with the chalice, the red egg and 3 tiles."

".. and I've opened all the cupboards, solved all the puzzle. I can't see what I'm missing."

And won't share how they did these things. Why not help others after you get your solutions???

    Bye bye.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Zoe, put the door handle to the window, the eggs will change place and will give you clue to solve a puzzle.

Beneath the basket with the eggs there is the clue for the four yellow chicken.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Thank you for your help here people - I was floundering in this game, but eventually the hints here all combined to make sense. Group effort!

    ReplyDelete
  68. I agree: the final puzzle was a bit low for TomaTea's standrards - but all in all, it was just another great one from him.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Does anyone know the composer of this music?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Great game - thanks Tomatea!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Merineith, that's the thing. I don't find them hard. I think they're beautifully done, just... boring. There's no cause and effect, only entering information. Input, output for more input. No plot, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I love Tomatea but as with 123bee even if you guess the answer to some puzzles you can't solve them until you find the clue for it!

which is why I can't usually finish Tomatea games... : (

    ReplyDelete
  73. These games are great! Just the right quality of graphics and thought required to complete the puzzles. Thanks Tomatea!

  74. Walkthrough Tomatea - step-by-step.

    EGGS.
Remove eggs-basket, take tile 1/4, look at directions of chicken legs.

Click right drawer-block (= eggs hint) for a battery.
    Turn right.

    WINDOW.
Needing a handle on the window.
    Turn right.

    EGGS.
Click left flower basket, place battery in compartment, click button, combine the 3 dots with the calender for number clue (= DOOR-SCENE, right drawer-block. Sp4167oiler) for the window handle + one more egg needed there.

Place/click the handle, egg-clue for right drawer-block in this scene = tile 2/4 + wrench.

CHICKEN: use wrench in right drawer-block to get a gear. Place gear in left box same scene. Drawer-block door underneath has opened. See rabbits on a swing. Get screwdriver. Use it on left drawer-block in same scene for red egg. Place it in left drawer-block WINDOW-scene for a word clue (SPegOILgsER).
Place that word in right drawer-block in same scene = tile 3/4 and key.

Key opens right drawer-block at CHICKEN for color-order gears in left box. The two high gears have the blue horizontal bars towards each other, the lowest ones green.Check rabbits on a swing underneath for color clue, used in right box DOOR scene for a key.

Key opens cabinet at EGGS for heart and tile 4/4.
Place heart in same scene, get the egg.
Do the tile puzzle for circles box.
Place cup in the circles box, place egg. Count the amount of rings on the circles, click them accordingly from left to right. Gives you the exit key.
You have to leave the soothing music, and calming room now ...
    Bye.

  77. I had a good day - out without help.
    Perfect game !!!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Arrie, thank you for your WT. I couldn't get the final code to work, thought it was related to the chicks somehow, but then I realised I forgot about the paws clue and saw that I was still missing the cup as well.
    Bedankt :)

    Great game though !
