Bugged! I opened a crate with a crowbar and it said I escaped.
ReplyDeleteHave flashlight, batteries, compass and key all used. 4 scraps of paper =S, N, N, and E. I'm guessing number of stars in telescope view gives numbers to open safe, so I need one more letter.
ReplyDeleteSo far I found 1 battery and that's all, the screen is so dark it's a pixel hunt to do anything.
ReplyDeleteWill hang on for awhile, but it's looking like 1 star so far...
Locked suitcase under green tarp. Still need a fifth directional letter.
ReplyDeleteIaotzu where do you use the compass
ReplyDeleteFlashlight on trapdoor. One battery between floor stones. One battery between crenelations.
ReplyDeleteUse compass with the telescope. The four views are the four cardinal directions NEWS.
ReplyDeleteYep it's 1 star, items are invisible you have to pixel hunt for them.
ReplyDeleteThen supposedly you drag batteries onto touch and they combine, doesn't work for me so I cannot progress.
Looking at a walk-through via Google confirms this game is crap/bugged.
walk-through link in the game takes me to another game site with no walk-through but another game.
iconland Put batteries in flashlight (see note above) and it is no longer so dark.
ReplyDeleteIcon...there is a compass on the screen in telescope view, and one in inventory...what do I do with the one in inventory...
ReplyDeleteSorry, not Icon...Iaotzu
ReplyDeleteOne letter piece on tower flower, one to the right of the rope ladder, one under the fallen stone, one top of crate in telescope scene. Compass from on top of duffel bags. Still missing last letter piece.
ReplyDeleteKez. I'm guessing you need the one in inventory to see the one in the telescope scene. Did you find the fifth letter piece?
ReplyDeleteWeird, I had a key, but it disappeared. argh
ReplyDeleteOut. Easy once you find all five letters and match up the torn edges.
ReplyDeleteKey disappeared. Not trying again.
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity, in what mindset does opening a crate in a tower constitute escaping?
ReplyDeleteI can't do the matching. I think there should be a way to do so on the game. If it were real life we would do so. Can someone spoil it.
ReplyDelete@Iconlan.....Have you ever played a game that you actually like? Geez
ReplyDelete@Troop496
ReplyDeleteIf you mean @iconland, then yes he has. Have you ever judged a game on its own merits (or in this case a lack thereof), or do you judge it based on whether you like the game maker or what others are saying about it?
If I was iconland and I was experiencing the problems he was with this game I would give it one star as well. Who do you think you are to call the validity of someone's opinion into question?
If this game worked for you, and made you happy, I am glad for you. Obviously it doesn't work for everyone though, like most games, and it is only fair that negative opinions are allowed to be expressed along with the positive ones. If I was a game maker I would actually want to hear about things that didn't work so that I could fix them either on the fly like SD does, or in the next game I make, like others do. So comments like iconland's would be extremely valuable to me in that case.
So relax. You are going to hear negative comments in every thread. You don't have to like them, but you don't have to be snide about them either.
@Esmerelda Pumphandle. Are you this sites moral guardian or everyones over protective granny. Snide enough for you? Im sure people on here are old enough to look after themselves if someone posts a comment to them without you having to poke your garden hose into it!
ReplyDeleteLots of bickering but not too many helpful comments here. I have only 3 letters and no more are to be found. I am with icon land 1 star. This game is too dark to see items and the inventory is too hard too use.
ReplyDeleteFinally made it 'out` with the help of the walkthrough. Too dark, too much of a pixel hunt and a truly awful inventory scheme. Can I have my ten minutes back please?
ReplyDeleteAdmittedly yes the torch makes things easier to see, however alot of the time and multiple refresh's the batteries would not combine with the torch. If it works for you every-time, that's great good luck to you.

I start at the viewpoint that every game on here is worth 5 stars, however stars are lost for the following reasons:
1. If there are bugs
2. If the puzzles have poor clue's/instructions or a puzzle has no clue's/instructions provided to understand what's in the mind of the author.
3. If a game' flow is not logical (1 + 1 = 3, not logical)
4. If I have to look at comments here & or the WT I tend to subtract 1 star, because if things were as they should be I shouldn't be having problems.
5. Game' that include hotlinks to other website's, really annoys me if a game is a pixel hunt and you repeatedly get hot-linked to another website, especially annoying if it opens in the same page and the game doesn't have a save feature resulting in you having to start from scratch.
If a game is so horrendous and cannot be finished, especially when it becomes apparent from looking at a walk-through video that the game is indeed bugged I 1 star it.

Thank-you, I wish more people were as patient and kind as you, unfortunately as you can see from some of the responses you got some people want an argument to flame or troll to attempt to get a rise, normally I try to ignore them, it's unfortunate the admins on here are okay with flamers and trollers.
