This one seems easier than others. Had to bf Q6 but no problem solving the rest.
ReplyDeleteThis was one of the easier instalments - but still enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteAndrea,
ReplyDelete#6 had an extra hint: the "two-digit numbers" in the yellow circles are written so that the digits are further apart than they should be - and this indicates right away that we should treat them really as two one-digit numers: 2 & 5 instead of 25, 2 & 3 instead of 23 and 4 & 7 instead of 47. Now, the three numbers in the greean bubbles are:
- the sum of the two digits in the yellow bubble
- the product of the two digits in the yellow bubble, and
- the difference you get when you take away the smaller digit from the bigger one
E.g.: yellow bubble: 25 (2 and 5)
- 2+5=7
- 2*5=10
- 5-2=3
Thanks for the explanation bio, I did sense the separation of the digits as meaningful and was fooling around with the separately, but I generally am bad with that particular type of puzzle.
ReplyDelete"them" separately
