Got a knife, insect, fishing rod, wire, note, hook, crowbar (used), key (used), mold.
ReplyDeleteI can put insect on table but dunno what for.
Used crowbar twice. Got an eye.
ReplyDeleteGot a shrimp from assembling fishing rod and using the insect as bait.
ReplyDeleteA shell from using mold as bait
ReplyDeletePut shrimp on table, kill it with knife for a key and it's head.
ReplyDeleteOpen CB for a magnet and a worm
Use shrimp head as bait, get a corpse. Use knife on corpse, get an apple.
ReplyDeleteUse worm as bait for a fish. And magnet for the 2nd key for CB.
Kill fish, click it until u have a fully grown tree comming out from it.
ReplyDeletePlace objects like on the note.
Magnet will also give us 2 chests.
ReplyDeleteI'm still missing the diamond.
For green chest> "Mirror " is the hint. The numbers are all written along with their mirrored image. U need some math :)
ReplyDeleteAnd ermmm... I think I need to play the previous one of this series because I need a code from another game LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's not necessary to have the code -- alternative ending -- but it's SP1OI4L8E7R
ReplyDeleteI played this game without playing before. I'm not sure about the ending, but it seems I was killed.
ReplyDeleteDon't play in the dark.
Yey thx for the code Andrea! And I was indeed playing the previous one xD
ReplyDeleteGrrreat. To get to the more interesting ending, you need a number from the previous one which was released... erm ... how many months ago?
ReplyDeleteEven the fact that the author didn't even think this far that people tend to forget numbers after several months have passed is convincing enough for me not to bother with this one. Gameplay sounds pretty cookie-cutter style, as well.
Yes Nini, I'd rather be patient for Neutral ;-)
Hmm fish chop up interesting?
ReplyDeleteI thought the game was good, even though I think I got a bad ending! I liked it!
ReplyDeleteNice game, I like the graphics and the design.
ReplyDeleteKeep getting a message asking if files.escapegames24.com can store files on my computer, hit deny but it keeps coming back up. Not cool.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I think this game looks great and has a really cool, weird story line, and up till now I was really impressed with it. Then I got stuck on the mirror/chest thing and watched the walkthrough--in it, the cursor makes some vague circle around the tree and then starts entering the symbols into the green chest like it's all obvious. That's when I got mad. I'm sorry, on what PLANET are these symbols obvious, or even shown? I don't see them in the game anywhere! Oh, I realize they must appear somewhere, because you guys solved it, but I don't see them, and now I just feel stupid and want to tell the makers to shove their game where the sun don't shine.
ReplyDeleteTallulah Jean there's a piece of paper which shows each of the objects arranged in a pattern that matches the spots on the tree. It's not as random as you think.
ReplyDeleteExcellent game. Great graphics and weird story. Cutting the corpse freaked me out!
ReplyDeleteTallulah Jean,
ReplyDeleteit happens to me all the time: I get stuck with a puzzle everybody else seems to solve without any kind of trouble... in this case, the "symbols" you see on the green puzzle box is the numbers 0-9, each symbol being a certain digit PLUS its mirrored image. So, for example the "double zero" you see in each of the four slots at the bottom of the box are the zeros - you see two zeros because they are a zero and its mirrored image - which also looks like a zero. if you click on such a double zero, the next symbolt is a 1 PLUS its mirrored image - and so on...
I know it sounds awfully complicated, but it really isn't - and maybe someone can explain it much simpler than I did.
It's a bit odd that I have to play another game (Seasons)to get a code I need in this game (to open the darker green box) - but all in all I liked this game thoroughly.
ReplyDeleteThe game is cool, but my flash crashed for the second time in a row. And clicking all the time the storing demand is tiring _| ̄|○ Looks like it's too much for my computer \(--)/
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll try again later.
How do you combine objects? I want to put the fishing rod, wire, hook and insect together. I assume that's what I have to do.
ReplyDeleteOops. I thought that was a telescope and a window you couldn't open. Turns out it's a tripod for holding the fishing rod, and there is no window there.
ReplyDelete@Adam The solution is actually simple. Find the game on the developer's own site, i. e. do not play from play.escapegames24.com - it ought to do the trick and accept your "deny".
ReplyDeleteHoly Hannah. Two from Rusty Lake in the same day. These makers are fantastic
ReplyDeleteGlad I played the Seasons game first. FOR THOSE WHO DIDNT'
ReplyDeleteSP1O4IL8E7R
Another great one, I played the Seasons just before and had to play this one too. I love this shizophrenic theme and hope to play a new game soon!
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem that Adam had with the pop up window asking for EG24 to put files on my computer. I allowed it, and then later got some adware on my computer that I had to remove. That may or may not have been a result of allowing the pop-up window, but I did not have anything else open but this game...not a huge problem because I could remove the adware, but a bit concerning anyway...But, this was a great game!!!
ReplyDeleteWanna wanna play but nuttin' but black screen...
ReplyDeleteFF w/ no adblock going on....
Why is the "Covert Front" game on the rustylake.com website?
ReplyDeleteCurious...
OK, involved with the Pastel Games folks.
ReplyDeleteRustyLake's "Seasons" game quality makes sense now...
Got the game to load from the rustylake.com website, so all is good.
ReplyDeleteYay!!!
OK, fun so far!
ReplyDeleteI really wanted that eyeball to be the bait !!!
mold as bait, cast out and get shell on hook
ReplyDeleteinsect as bait, cast out and got a "shimp"
I really really want to cast that eyeball out there and see what bites!!!
Very good game!!! Loved it.
ReplyDeleteGetting apple from corpse was pretty cool, made my day!
.
For late comers, a few tidbits:
The 1st green puzzle box was a bit wonky to figure out, but it goes as so: Clue on box = 6 x 237, that's 1422 and that's the # sequence, R to L, to open the box.
Interpreting the #'s shown is kind of weird, as suggested in posts above, so I'll cut to the chase for those wanting it just spoiled.
So if #'s are 1422, then by shape they are:
small up arrow ( mirrored #1)
big headed up arrow ( mirrored #4)
double fish hook thingie over triangle ( mirrored #2 )
double fish hook thingie over triangle ( mirrored #2 )
Box unlocked gives blue gem for tree
5 "objects" on tree light up a 5 point star
Green gem from second green puzzle box, from magnet 3rd cast, using code spoiled in above posts.
Green gem used
Shadow creature comes up out of lake...
That always happens when I go fishing...
Again, great game. Wish it was longer, like the "Seasons" game.
Thanks, Dean OCallaghan and bio. Dean, I actually had that piece of paper and understood that part, it was what bio explained that I wasn't getting--and you actually explained it quite well, bio. :) Thanks to both of you for helping foggy-headed me.
ReplyDeleteThe mirror thing. The six is the right half of the mirrored image. The other numbers are the left half. ?????
ReplyDeletehow do you get the eye
ReplyDeletei think i die in the end?
ReplyDeleteu get the eye by using the crowbar in one of the mirrored L shaped cracks
ReplyDeletewhere do you get the diamond?
ReplyDeleteI lived
ReplyDeletecaught this one from the random section
ReplyDeletethx for the code, couldn't be bothered to replay the other game
thx RL for all your creations ☺
PIXEL HUNT: Use the crowbar on cracks in the wood wall (two places).
