  81. Such fun, logical and clever thanks SD

    ReplyDelete
  82. Great use of some of your ideas from other styles of games that don't usually make it into "villas". I also like that you added extra coins so we have some left over after buying stuff. :) I'm sure you did it for folks who missed a couple here and there.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I've restarted the game and there is no marble in the leftmost scene !

    ReplyDelete
  84. There is a marble in the leftmost scene, but it's really hard to see. And it is on the small table and not on a chair !

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  91. wow, first SD game I didn't need help on. Woot!

    ReplyDelete
  92. That was excellent! Thank you :)

    ReplyDelete
  93. With all due respect, the Melting Mindz / Self Defiant games with which I have had so much enjoyment over the years, have become trite. I don't really want to complain, because I realize a lot of time and effort goes into every game.
My issue is that these games have become almost indistinguishable from one another. I know new people are turning on to escape games all the time, so there is an ever developing market with new players.
Actually, this is the same reason Ainairs was removed from this site a while back. Their games were (and still are) pretty redundant.
    That's all. Happy escaping!

    ReplyDelete
  94. This is my favorite Sneaky escape for sure. Having the map was fun, and the characters added a nice touch. This one was a departure from the usual Sneaky escapes I've played through the years. Thanks, SD!

    ReplyDelete
  95. There's probably no one there anymore, but I sure as hell can't figure out the 6 letter word for the box. I don't see a word at the scuba shop...

    ReplyDelete
  96. LANARA on the left side of the window (red underlined)

    ReplyDelete
  97. Can't find the oyster....

    ReplyDelete
  98. Wenmomojo, Here's the deal, I've been making games for 9 years now. I make several different style of games. The only reason they seem similar is because I've found what works. I tried taking out the colored gems and people complained. This is what works best for me and my games. They are not the exact same, it might seem like it but they are what they are because of many years of trial and error. The reason Ainairs games were removed is because he took an old game and changed almost nothing and re-posted it. I make new games each time and if I make a remake it is completely remade. So to get my point across in the nicest and clearest way. I make the games the way players want them because the players are who play the games. I appreciate your comment but I don't agree with it. You see it as the games are all the same but in truth, I know what people want and that's what I give them. :)

    ReplyDelete
  99. Feel so silly. I found the pearl near boat. Now stuck. Where is the helicopter?

    ReplyDelete
  100. @Selfdefiant; I love these games! They always bring a smile to my face when a new one appears! ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  101. @Selfdefiant -

I have been playing your games for 7 years, and am never, EVER bored with them. When I see you've posted one, I'm always so glad and stop anything I'm doing just so I can play it. There are and never will be too many of your games. Thank you for all the years of FREE enjoyment and your time and effort in creating your wonderful games!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Your games are unique and wonderful selfdefiant, especially the gems hunting, please go on making more.

    ReplyDelete
  103. The guy under the pier isn't on his knees! He's a merman!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Daydreamer - after you give the lady her cocktail, a new spot opens up. It's at the lower right of the island - kind of underneath the waterfall and to the left of the whale. Helicopter is there.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Selfdefiant...I just finished playing your game with Austen and we LOVED every moment of the game. 5 Stars from me! Keep them coming you are the reason I play the games. I met melting mindz first! Please never change! Thank you for all your hard work. Forever grateful!

    ReplyDelete
  106. For what it's worth in my opinion that was the best SD game for a long time with new twists on an already great theme.
We loved the idea of interactive characters and having to decide which item to buy first.
    Please keep them coming.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I'm way too late as I've been a day off but this game was so nice that I want to thank you anyway, SD.

Just three cents about it: Yes, SD has a certain style but other developers do too, like TomaTea, Robamimi, Sniffmouse, etc. Please keep in mind that SD gives us several and imho above-average games each week. Maybe a Neutral game is another level but we had to wait two years or so for it. I don't want to spent months of playing crappy pixelhunting games while waiting for a better one.

SD had some changes in the past but most people preferred the "classical" ones so he gives us - like he wrote - what he's expected. Keep also in mind that he makes games in different patterns and for all ages - the pretty-sceneries like this, the Asylums, the Flongas, the Hoodamaths, the series games, etc.

And last: when my mother invites me for lunch she can't do me a bigger favour than cooking all those meals I loved when growing up in our house. For exotic meals I can go out to a restaurant.

  108. Hear, hear, meritneith - I couldn't have put it better!

Thanks again, SD, and, in the words of one of my favorite "sayings" -

    "Illegitimi non carborundum"

    ReplyDelete
  109. rbud57 - that was excellent!!! And so very true. Thanks for the smile.
