    Hmmm, if the numbers are mirrored why aren't the letters? I can clearly see a C in the spot labeled 1 on the mirror, and same for B=2, 3=D, 4=A and E=5.

    I feel one of the biggest clues is if it says "puzzle not working" you haven't found the clue. Once you can operate it and can't figure it out, go back because you've seen the clue someplace.
