Hi Alpha, wishing you a Merry Christmas too. Everything's prepared (even the presents are wrapped up), so I've got some time left.
ReplyDeletenumber star in room before upstairs for outside
ReplyDeleteadd the 2 numbers next to corresponding triangles for correct shapes
Thanks for the hint for the 4x4 grid, I always started in the top right corner and thought it was the wrong clue.
ReplyDeleteDon't miss the cross clue (very very faint) outside, right of the star. Doesn't work on the cross with the balls right of tree in the TV scene.
ReplyDeleteshape star outside
ReplyDeleteSPOILER
starting on top, going clockwise
triangle, pentagon, square, pentagon, hexagon, triangle - hit padlock
ah, hi merit - nice to see you here, too ☺
ReplyDeleteI think we need a magnifier for the crosses outside...
ReplyDeleteglad that you help to give hints - loads of stuff to do in this one...!
Yes, but I interrupted playing for wrapping up the last two presents, and I've forgotten almost everything I did before! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, I didn't think of waiting for a magnifier! Somewhere I got a paper with NEWS, that can be flipped to the backside.
ReplyDeletehi alpha and merit,merry christmas
ReplyDeleteHi kevaus! Thanks, same to you!

ReplyDeletehi kevaus, ditto ☺
ReplyDeleteSD from spanners works on both panels (ha, that rhymes for Xmas ☻)
ReplyDeleteNo Alpha, they worked for both, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteGot some progress with the 4# (tried both hints from book in despair, even adding them up): Clue is clock time in first room upstairs, the train means to use military time (or whatever it may be called correctly in this case)
i gave at fish fountain
ReplyDeleteThat gives the second paper hint, connecting to the symbol hint for first room in the house.
ReplyDeletecollected coloured buttons go on scales on wall upstairs, but what for?
ReplyDeleteKevaus, I saw I had to spin the tiles and skipped immediately.
ReplyDeleteAlpha, there was a puzzle somewhere with three bigger circles in top row and three smaller in bottom row. Colour the circles according to the scales (heavier side down, lighter side up).
ReplyDeleteFor those who don't know: You can skip some puzzles, just choose the Google thing, close the opening new tab/window and press skip again.

DANG! I refreshed the wrong window - the game!
ReplyDeletePhew, you can resume.
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck as hell with the book with the two hints (none of them used), a lonesome battery, and that NEWS clue paper with other directions on the backside.
ReplyDeleteHA! Progress!
ReplyDeletebook for shapes in 1st house room gives a handle, but where to use?
ReplyDeleteIn the first room upstairs, there's another puzzle on the right wall, just right of the big sugar cane. There should the NEWS paper be used.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you want to do a lazy man's work: Start with the SW/NE/... side first, work the letters from left to right, then do the same for the N/S/... side - the colours' clicking order is done exactly that way. (Hope that makes sense).
ReplyDeleteHave to leave for some minutes!
NEWS colours not quite the same on puzzle
