Poor clues.
ReplyDeleteI agree with smokehalo - clues were VERY obscure. Poor game imho. Not fun.
ReplyDeletewall clock is for 4x5 dots grid. link the dots until the links build a "3".
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above comments - clues had no logical basis.
ReplyDeletecombine the 4-8-2-6 frames with the symbols with lines (1 to 8, seven is missing, but not needed) and another hint that tells you in which order to read the frames. it´s of no use to try to solve the 4 symbols puzzle before you´ve got that hint.
ReplyDeletered path in book is for the 5x5 crosses / arrows grid. let each arrow point to the direction the path goes in the next step (this worked for me at my first try)
ReplyDeletewall signs over three envelopes give a clearly hint wich colour / number / symbol is used in puzzle in 1st scene.
ReplyDelete(spoiler: blue / 3 / sun)
axe is used on blotch on floor in rightmost scene (it´s a big dark blotch)
ReplyDeleteuse eraser on white sheet in your inventory - this gives a word clue and solving this puzzle gives the second word clue. - o.k., the last step was a little poor but all in all it´s a pretty good tricky game. i think it´s not fair claiming this a poor game just because you have to use your brain from time to time!
ReplyDeleteGood game. Logical prompts. The game is different from others. I like.
ReplyDeleteI give up. Connect the dots too much like a slider. Need a disclaimer or a skip option to get any more than a 1 from me. -1 if I could.

ReplyDelete@Billy: Keep trying! It´s not necessary to click every dot - let some out and see what happens when you click the next or overnext one.
ReplyDeleteToo obscure to be fun, but I like the idea of having more proper puzzles rather than just finding and placing objects!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say that too obscure or poor, rather good. Counting the books wasn't my favourite and that "3" was a bit questionable, there are different ways to represent a 3, but I liked that puzzle itself, connecting the lines properly. It's not difficult at all when you understand what the clicks do.
ReplyDeleteFor me a 4 star game, top-end of G2J.
