ReplyDeletejust call me dumb, but i can´t figure out the rat´s hint for the animal cross. rat says: Tiger up, Fish left, Owl right and Caterpillar down - does it matter in wich of the three possible positions per animal the button is placded? and what about the other animals - does it matter how they are placed?
ReplyDeletei´ve aleady tried different combos, even to sort the animals (mammals, birds, insects, sea animals) but nothing worked...
the power of posting worked again: went on to play around with this puzzle and suddenly it opened - not sure why. maybe the tiger. fish, owl and caterpillar were all in the middle of the three possible places.
ReplyDeleteto get started pick up the grey box and go "about item" in your inventory. play around with it by swapping the tiles - there is no hint for the order but correctly placed tiles get enlighted.

ReplyDeletereplayed and found out: my idea of sorting the animals per families was correct, also the placement of the four hinted animals in middle position. only then the puzzle will open. - GREAT GAME, GFG GOES CHALLENGING, JUHUU!!
