First, anyone else playing?
I managed to leave the prison cell after shredding the shirt and blanket but don't know what else to do.
yeah good call with shredding the clothes. i got the key from the well but don't know where to use it yet. tried the padlock, shed, and cell door

How did you get the key? I tried using the bucket with the rope but it said I can't reach the hook
say use on handle and pull it up first

give the magazine from the locker to jerry and he opens the gate for you
That I did, but couldn't open any of the doors
use the key on the keyhole of shed. get magazine from locker and give to guy left of gate. go in talk to detective, then talk to guards again. go to detective and pretend you're the investigator.
ok sooo have have oped the shead and gotten a dirty mag and gave it to jerry and he let me into the castle now stuck!
i talked to everyone, then went back and accused them all, got a knife and a carrot, now what?

Got the diary and letter, spoke to the maid. Now there are these two people who talk about this being a game.
the button is the ultra mega super secret clue thing
spoken with everyone (twice) but the captain won't give met he key? I assume I need the key to get into the final (locked) room and get the diary and letter?
yes, I also have spoken to call twice and no key!
make sure you go back and accuse everyone. then talk to police officer guy next to body. i don't know what to use as a torch for the cellar. i can't pick up candles. i'm guessing the ticket is for the nerds, but i can't give it to them in any way
Are you definitely sure you spoke to everybody? That's what I thought too but I decided to talk to them again and progressed.
I got the padlock key, but need a source of light.

grrrr ok still no key talked to everyone AGAIN! and now all he says is "I dont feel like talking" what am I missing!
i'm wondering how a medieval castle has a locker room with a sink that uses running water. any new ideas for flashlight? when is the real detective coming?

blueclues.... i had the same problem at first but when you talk to everyone...with each person go through the ENTIRE dialog conversation again starting from the first thing they say, to the next, etc...
i clicked up really fast and on the part with the body it said sth on the top of the screen but i missed it
got jesters staff by pulling his hat down and then replacing the staff with somthing? but now im stuck any clues what to do next
To get the torch to light the celler, pull down on Jester's hat and replace his staff with the plunger. Use knife on staff and light it in the kitchen.

When you zoom into the box, take the cog, and use the carrot on the hole near the place where you found cog.

it says in the beginning that this is 'a work in progress' - so maybe the ending is done yet? more to come? good game otherwise :)

Take the jesters staff by pulling down his hat and using plunger on staff... use knife on staff to remove "hat" then use staff in fire in kitchen...
To get light source, you have to quickly, and I mean quickly, pull the jester's hat, then use the plunger on the jester's staff. Then, use the knife on the staff, then use the staff on the fire in the kitchen.
To get key, give the left nerd the button
I got a gold key from the captain but I can't get it to fit the padlock on the hatch or the king's room door. Does it go to one of the places or somewhere else?

The skinny nerd won't take the button. Grr. Is there something in the closet? I can't find anything.
I don't know if this is glitchy. Sometimes the Jester won't feel like talking, sometimes he will. I can't talk to the captain anymore. I can still accuse everyone. Sometimes when I'm navigating through, I see a quick flash of new characters on the screen but they go away.
It did say this game was unfinished, so I'm guessing they still have some bugs to work out. I'll have to take a stab at it again later.

Sarah , shred the shirt and blanket with the piece of bar
then combine the two shredded items to get out the window

*take piece of bar out of dead guys hand
*take dead guys shirt
*take blanket
*take bucket
*pull the brick that is sticking out under the window (on the floor)
*use the piece of bar on the blanket
*use the piece of bar on the shirt
*use the shredded shirt on the shredded blanket
*use the rope cloth on the broken bars on the window
then you should be able to go out the window

I talked to both the kids, twice I think, then I gave the kid on the left the yellow button, and he gave me the key

Use key kid gave you on cellar lock.
Assuming you have already gotten staff from jesture and lit it on fire in the kitchen...also grab carrot from kitchen.

I am playing. I am in the king's room and the maid is there, but I can't do anything. To give the button to the boy, make sure you select every option at least once when you talk to him. I had the same problem, but when I went back and talked to him again, there was a question that wasn't there before. Anyone have help for giving the diary to the maid? I think that's what you have to do.
nmm i got out but im stuck at the part where you need some kind of light for inside the basment thing outside...but i dont know where a light is...need some answers please

*this part has to be done fast, PULL the jester’s hat down, USE the plunger (while the hat is still down) on his staff – this will exchange the plunger with the staff and the staff should be in your inventory
*use knife on the staff, then go back to the kitchen and use the staff in the fireplace to light it
ps if you cant do something or talk to ppl then possibly you have to do something else

I'm a bit stuck. I've talked to everyone in the castle and I have a carrot, a knife, a button, a ticket, a plunger, a piece of prison bar, and a key.
Can someone help me as to where to go next?
cool game..easy enough too..so far..u have to interogate every one fully..before inspector gives u key..to kings room..another key..u will have two all together
once u go to kings room..u then go to maids room..then after that..u will see two other boys..moving right along in this game..kinda fun..alot of those other functions are useless though..glad they posted it..:)

ok stupide me. i didn't see the paper in is hand. Ok the maid is know in the kings bed room and i can not give her the diary. I already read the lost piece of diary in front of her but that doesn't do the trick? What can i do

I must be really thick because all I have in my inventory is a ticket and button and when I try to talk to the skeleton he says I am not that lonely so were is everyone else in this game?
walkthrough
1 take blanket , t shirt, bar, bucket
2 use bar on the blanket and get blanket shreds ,use bar on the t shirt and get t shirt shreds
3 use two shreds together and get rope
4 pull the brick under the window and tie the rope on the window and then you climb out from the window
5 go to the well, use the handle , use the bucket on the hook, use the handle, use the handle again, take the key
6 use key on the keyhole of the staff only shed , open the door ,go into the hut ,take the plunger ,take the dirty magazine from the second locker(Jerry)
7 talk to Jerry ( always press first line to answer Jerry), give dirty magazine to Jerry after talking
8 enter the castle and talk to captain, go out again , and then talk to John .
9 enter the castle again , talk to the captain again
10( this is the most difficult step.it took me one hour to get a gold key form captain this morning.) you talk to any staff in the castle and he or she will make an accusation . a new question is shown by another person so you talk to another person and so on . for example: i talk to the jester first , cook, executioner, wizard,maid, gravedigger, jester, captain . you get the gold key from the captain after talking to him.
11 use key to the king room ,take a letter, a diary and then look the letter, the diary
12 talk to maid again after that take a knife and a carrot in the kitchen
13 on the way to the throne room , you will meet two nerds .after talking to them , give a button to the left one and he will give you a key.
14 pull the jester's hat and use the plunger with the staff and then you get the staff , use the knife with the staff , you get a torch without fire.
15 use the torch (without fire) with fire in the kitchen and you get a torch with fire.
16 to outside , there is a hatch next to the well , use the small key with the hatch and then open the hatch , use the torch get into the basement.
17 examine the control, use the carrot with a hole, take a cog , use the cog with the carrot
18 pull the lever, enter, take the shiny object, go out and then enter the castle again and see the captain but he is gone , take a letter , look the letter
19 go back to the basement again , and then you find the captain killed himself? take a piece of letter from his hand , look the paper
20 go to the castle again and talk to the maid(Veronical) in the king room. give the paper to her after taking to her. she will say you are a winner. and she is a loser.
um..im a little stuck (again) -lol- but yea can anybody tell me where the maids room is cuz i really dont see one...i just got past the part where you light the stick thingy to go in the basement place...but yea i dont kno what to do next.. help

I see that the owner posted here..this game is awesome..but as an escape gaming maniac.:)..i would suggest verb disc.i think they call it..as opposed to the many functions..just my opinion..mind u i loved it the way it was too..kept me playing for a while..they should make more like this..i love point and click adventures..I look forward to a series..:-)

The reason I chose for these controls, is that I wanted to base it on the "oldschool" point and click adventures I used to play when I was young :)
There aren't many games like that out there anymore even though it always was a very popular genre.
And about the series, the 2nd part is already well on it's way!

asked all the people the questions and went back to the captain but its only saying the same questions but no sign of the key?
reddc, there are many glitches in the game, i have the same problem when i played first time . so i restart again. but make sure you have already talked to captain again when you enter the castle again. and then talk to jester, cook.....

Basically for this first part the engine needed to be tested and bugs needed to be spotted and fixed.
In the second part the focus will be on the storyline and the puzzles.
There will be much more actual puzzles and talking to the characters will be a smaller part of the game than it is now.
If there are any more suggestions for the next game, make sure to let me know and I will take them into consideration.

Okay....I know all you guys are way past this but I cannot find a way out of the cell (lmao) I have shredded the stuff and made the rope, have the button, the bar,the bucket, and the ticket. I dont know what else to do. I cant reach the bars to tie the rope. Help me....
