Stone on jar to get note, hammer on compass to get magnet.
I picked up another stone on the screen before the end, not knowing that when I moved right it would automatically finish...you think I could have used it somewhere?

Thanks. I have now made my compass, and i have the note, but can,t find a path to the north from the oasis as the note says.
If u get a rook at the stage with a lot of rooks before the end and go back to the other balloon u get a seed plante netx to water and go u got good end

Ok felling really dumb now. I got the bottle with water in it, cactus spike, compus needle attached to the string, note and hammer. Now I'm stuck. Help?
Never mind got the happy ending (just missed that another arrow had appeared)
I can't figure out how to get the cactus spike thing..
For a normal end:
- click on the down-lef side of cactus and the view change. Take upper CACTUS THORN
- [down][down][down] take a EMPTY PET BOTTLE (down-right corner)
-[left]take a ROCK and click on down-left spot for HAMMER
-[right][up] click on down-left part of 'lake', highlight BOTTLE adn dipp water to it. Next mark HAMMER and press on white object on upper bush - get CORKED JAR. Use CACTUS THORN on it and obtain MESSAGE.
-[down][up] press on down-left side of cactus. Use BOTTLE WITH WATER on sign.
-[down][left]take COMPASS (bottom part of screen on rocks). Throw ROCK to left ballon and take STRING. Examine COMAPSS. Use HAMMER on it and take MAGNETIC NIDDLE. Use STRING on IT and You got HOME MADE COMPASS.
-[right][down](if You didn't read MESSAGE for JAR do it now; examine HOME MADE COMPASS and press it)[right][right] You're find a CITY! THE END

I have the compass needle on string but there is no new screen anywhere. Other hints haven't helped.

How can I plant the seed and where?????
fun game - not too complex but that's only because of I used a lot of the postings here!! Although, I do believe that if the creator of a game requests that no walkthru be posted until a specified time, then that should be respected. The person that posted the actual walkthru should be banned for a period of time from the games. It's one thing to play along together in the sandbox which is allowed, but not to respect the specific request of no walkthru for a short period of time is pathetic - it's like, the rules are made for 'everyone else'. Oh well, there'll always be 'one of those'.....

~~~Walkthrough ~~~
1) go down... click on the bottom left bush. get the jar thats on the right side of. the top bush.
2) go down and click on the pet bottle.
3) go left and click on the stone. click bottom left area of the screen to uncover the hammer.
4) go back to the pond and click on the bottom left bush. click on the pet bottle and then on the pond to fill the bottle.
4) go up... click on the left side of the cactus just above the bush. use the water on the sign. take the top thorn from the cactus and use it to open the jug. take the note.
5) go left... pick up the broken compass. use the rock on the balloon on the left. get the string from the balloon. use the hammer on the compass to get the needle out. combind the string with the needle.
6) go back the the pond... fill the pet bottle again.
7) look at the home made compass. click on the red end. now you can go right... pick up the first rock center left.
now from here you can go right again to end the game or you can go back to the balloon you didn't brake.
8) use the rock on the balloon to make it fall. take the envelope. open the envelope to get the seed.
9) go down from the pond and plant the seed to the right of center. pour the water over the planted seed.
10) go back to the pond... go right two and your out...
