GeekQuest Volume 3 aka Mudd Quest 3 is third episode of The Geek Quest Trilogy point and click type adventure game created by Alex Bobbs. i forgot geek quest is kind of lengthy, i dont have the brain power for this. I just had a big meal time, for a snooze...

ok i did manage to trap the things moving in the 5 circles and have (electric chair) type thing ready.. just have to figure that out.
At same point . I've noticed that there numbers on walls , i wonder what they are for .

for a keypad... each shape with number inside is need to apply it to the keypad....i think i know code but can't get power to keypad yet.

now downloaded a song and got sheet music to play at piano.
leb once you get the room turned on the one with the computer screen pic on outside of door then it locks you in when you click chair... screen on left should say system ready.....then you must get past firewall thing.

well, i'm standing in fron of some switch, clicked all over the butons which became yellow, have nooo idea what's this
when i click the chair, it says that there's no power!
not sure about yellow buttons yet.
not only do you have to play the lullaby but i guess you do it with timing......grrrrrrrrr
ok leb from what i remember in the hall.....that 2 pipes of sorts that go into a panel you can switch the flow of electric to the chair room..... then forward from panel switch level on machine on floor till you get it turned on..

if there's 10 click 7&8 along with 9&10, try that it worked for me.

ok 4got in the room with chair on right beside blue strip on machine you must bring the switch down to recieve power in there.
What do u do when u have got past the firewall panel the bit with 3 arrows changing numbers ect .

for the firewall, if you have 11, check 8 & 9, 10 & 11, that worked for me
ok couldn't remember if there was 10 or 11 but bottome 4..... lol

then you'll have to play it on the piano..... i used highlighter on my screen so i could mark what keys i needed to use. lol

Trying to figure out the pecking panel.
All I can gather from the pecking buttons is that they're pictures of humans, grues, velociraptor, maybe mathematics? and a liger. And that pecking order is a type of ranking.
Oh and the order is probably in the poem.
I think the clues to the pecking order are in the velociraptors cage but cannot figure out the sequence

Click the head with axes (velosiraptor), the lines(liger), the fork (grues), the stick figure and then the shapes (hamster)

It removed one of the bars from the giant safe. I think the next thing to figure out is the fuse box.

Nope still haven't got power to that eithers .
To get the power on, you have to work the panel where all the grues are walking around and drop the traps on them.
I havent gotten them all trapped yet. Any pattern to their movement?
Aha I got them trapped! Make a map of the circles and mark where they all are.
I had 1 set at 3 oclock, 2 at 3 and 9, 3 at 6, 4 at 3 and 5 at 6.
we obviously need the suit to lift the blocks, but no idea how to get it.

I have the code for the suit panel but still have no power for the panel to unlock it. I have no idea what to do with the two "fuse" panels??? Any ideas what happened when you got the mouse to open the door for switch and then it was turned on?
Aargh! Stuck in annoying 'rhythm battle'! Can't get past 2nd stage and my eyes are strting to water from concentrating! Lol

I did the chair in the computer room again. Logged into the archives room but never did get anywher after clicking many times.
I did note the message on the finance room and the final balance would be $1,715,000. Wonder if 1715 has any relevance?
I'm also stuck in the stage 2...
To find the ninja you need to enter the archives door and click in the right numbers, until you find bin1.
Done it!! Finally!
OK, I got to the ninja and this is going to be tough!!! Especially when those numbers are lasting only a millisecond!!!

Also, the versions posted on my site and on newgrounds should be updated so you now get 10 extra hitpoints at the start of "Flight of the Bumblebee" (the 2nd part of the music battle that everyone's having trouble with) instead of 5.
Thanks for the extra life but you will need to make that about 50 or so for those of us who use laptops,
and have a worn out mouse that only works intermittently.
Or add another 10 everytime we hit one right.
My preference would be no "hit the timed dot to progress" scenes in a PNC game.
They are a game killer just like death is start from the beginning.

How on earth do you figure out the power box puzzle on the wall where the square with the number in it and pink hexagon with number six in it is? I've looked at the walkthrough given a few comments back, and still haven't been able to make any sense of the clue given about the map symbol.
liz: press enter and you will see the radio and inventory.

If people are still having trouble with the Ninja, the most current release (http://www.u.arizona.edu/~abobbs/MuddQuest3.html) allows you to switch to an "easy" mode after losing once, at which point you will be saved if you die during the fast part.
Finally! After alot of help from the walkthrough I beat the game and got out!!
Thanx to bobbzman for letting us all know where to find the writers walkthrough. Couldnt have made it without.

I am also having a problem with the blocks in the math department. I can only see one block. I don't know if there is a bug or what.

OMG! OK, I just got power to the physics wing, haven't bothered saving this whole time (bec. I wasn't planning on quitting), and I clicked like one millimeter too low. I hit a link! Arrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!! Excuse me while I go hit myself in the head with a blunt object. Back to square one tomorrow.
