Second Room Escape is the sequel to First Room. It's another new Japanese point and click type room escape game from Yu's Room. In this escape game, again you are locked in a room and you try to escape the room by finding items and solving puzzles. i found that knob or what behind the safe... now i am stuck.
i found a note in one of the book:
pass is pi.
i entered the 3.14 but that wasn't the code.
and not the followings:

The 'knob' may be a magnifier!?
The music is so horrible. It's like some kid is trying to see how many keys on an organ he can push down at the same time.

Behind the safe found something that looks like a magnifying lens (or knob as some guys said)...
In second book from the left, found the "pass: π" and yes, like wmaster have tried all the combos...
In fourth blue book, found something in Japanese... Don't know if that's any good, since I don't understand a thing!....

It just says where it seems like something's not there there is something there. Maybe referring to the pass = 7 on the next line?
Now converted text says::Nothing like something.. Louise, move around for your cursor to turn from the hand into a line, then click and drag over text..
After getting on computer..I clicked on yellow folder,,then on the two A's..It loaded,,and then I could not go back to computer at all..I had to restart the game..
Found a key behind safe.
Doesn't work on anything.
Maybe this is a hint, though... One of the comments I'm getting when I click around the room is "Nothing here, no door here either?" Maybe there's an invisible door?
The bottom keys don't type into the safe, except 'n' (probably means that they are not needed).
vbranam1 How did you get on the computer? Mine keeps saying "There's no mouse so I can't use it" when I click there.

What do you call a room with no doors? A box or a waste of walls. No clue what to do.

Turn off the lights and the "about item" box appears. Check the screwdriver before turning the lights back on.

Huh, don't know if it's a glitch but I pressed the orange arrow next to the password box twice and it let me straight through...odd. Now lets see if I can get anywhere else.
I think you must open the safe to get the mouse. I can see a mouse on it. But, I`m still trying.... :(

computer password is the value of pi, 7 places without the decimal.
sassylass,,I tried..3141592 and 3142851 and a variation of above #'s..not working for me..
@vbranam1 - same here. I've tried 7 places after the decimal point, 7 numbers including the 3 and all kinds of varients on rounding up and down with no success.
Im still stuck..Cant get computer pw right..Gonna play a new game..Gl everyone..

Under the flash movie itself, there's some hints in the footnote:
*There are only 3 items
*There's only 1 ending, but depending on your moves/situation, you may not have a way to pass the game (as we've already figured out)...
*Also in the game intro, some screen shots and links are displayed. (I'll have to replay it...)
In the game itself, there's a few text hints:
When you get the clue about pi, the text at the bottom of the screen says perhaps its a clue, or is it a lie?
When you do the password on the computer the first time and press the input button again after it says the password was wrong, as faewitch said, it lets you on the computer, and says "the password was cancelled, so in other words there wasn't a password"
In the file folder "program" on the computer, if you click on the left file, it opens up and is a text file that you can actually write in, select, etc. The text says you need three things to know the way [out]: Knowledge
Technique
and to look on the opposite page.
Don't click on the right file, because it gives the computer a virus and you can't use it again.
The "Pass" icon "program": Password configuration checking software. Haven't figured out what to do with anything yet.
The bottom left "program" is a shortcut to Yu's Room site. the comment when you click on it gives a HINT: there might be a hint somewhere. Viewing source is also good...
(On that note, I looked at all the files the game links to, and in only one I finally found a comment at the top of the source,

Bottom right "program" is a link to Super Owata Bros. I'm not sure at all how to win at this game... I suck. ASDW keys are direction keys, J is Owata Buster (your attack) (hold to charge), O is self-destruct, and K is jump/swim.
On the initial screen when you start playing, it says "Password Room" in the bottom right corner. Then it says on the screen to the right, "Room for people who couldn't escape." To the left, it's the "Hermit Room" screen.
There are nine hidden boxes I think on total on the first screen. Don't know if that's important...

Okay, I finally made it through the mini-game, sort of, and behind the bricks was this message:
The number (circled number 10) is a password. There is no (circled number 10) in this room.
"pass:7" in the blue book.(Knowledge)
13 "10"s in the game.(Technique)
"pass:4" in the source.("opposite page" implies the source of web page.)
So, the second pass for the pc is 7134.
Then you will get the last pass for the safe.
