I just clicked on drawer handle.
With screwdriver, just kept selecting it and clicking on pink box, suddenly opened!
Think we have either a buggy game or things need doing in certain orders. Couldn't get key from painting until now.

when I opend pink box then clicked to side of books and got color code then clicked on pic and got key
YAY got the f_inf screwdriver!!! now I can't get the pink box open!!!!!!
is a picture with yellow + purple + blue + green, in the bin is a yellow circle with 7 stars, on the window, a blue can with 7 dots... i dont know maybe is something...
got a white paper wid 4 colored dots on it.. (from the pink box)

Code for grey box:
yellow - memo from trash can
blue - blue box on upper shelf
pink - strawberry
green - tag in plant pot
Add blue and yellow and get one number. Then add the pink and green and get another number. Add those 2 together and get 168.
Diana I don't think that there's a green key. On the plant there's a poin that lokks like a key, but probably it's not.

Hello! when you have the number of the four colors, you have to do: yellow + pink....etc....=CODE!!! (sorry about my english...)
What hook Megi? You said you found the hook from the second room so I thought that was the room with the code?
I finally figured out the color code picture. You just need to add all of the numbers up from the different colored items (strawberry-pink, yellow-stars on card in trash can, blue-box, green-thing in plant). Their sum gives you the last code you need for the grey box.
I just started trying these games out and have really enjoyed them!!

This is a very buggy game. Started over because I was getting nowhere,now I cant get anything but the strawberry.
First time I ever gave up on one of these games,I usually get it figured out,but this just to buggy for me.

In the pink book look at the last page 915 = code to put into the grey box in the second room.
I'm still here for lets say 15 minuts if you need help.
I absolutely can't get that stupid key - I clicked like 659 times! I hate buggy games!!! I noticed I couldn't open the drawer until after I looked at the pink box too.

Oh man! I figured out why I couldn't get the key. You have to look at the yellow safe and (possibly) click on the lock. Then click the picture/key and you can get it. Buggy! *grumble*
yes i was getting nerveous too, started twice the game be4 i got my brains to work :D ... but the hints from the others helped me to get out.

I click at the bottom of the page,
read all comments (if their are more then 200 comments, click on newer).
Click on the word "said",
(after the name of the person),
that closes the conversations you dont need.
And follow the hints you do need,

WALKTHROUGH
Look in bin and see the 7 red stars.
Take strawberry, highlight, click teh green and see 15.
Look at pot of plant, see 83.
Take key behind painting, right upper side (PIXELHUNT)
With key open yellow box, to find pink book, read it, and the lastpage says 915.
Put code on door.
Get the blue hook. With the hook, take blue box above double door in precedent room. Highlight the box and see 63.
Now in the shelf under the books is a screwdriver I can now not pick up in this buggy game. If you can, use it on the screws on the pink box under the tv-set. Tray to open it with a lot of patience and get the hint to add all the numbers yu collected.
63+7+83+15 gives 168.
Use this code on the grey box in the second room.
Now I cannot open the grey box inthis buggy game.

The numbers on that grey box gonig mad, but opened it with the 168 code. Got a key with witch I could open the other grey door. OUT
This game is NOT PLAYABLE without restarting and having already some answers.
Thanks for the walkthrough Tosca. Just wanted to add that I figured out these bugs:
-Can't open the drawer to get the screwdriver without looking at the pink box first; and...
-Can't get the key from the picture without looking at the yellow box first.
I don't remember if you actually have to click on them but you have to at least see them.

I did all that many times. same with the numbers on the grey box. Go one down, for example, from six to five, you see one or zero.
Or someone arranged it.
Game is bugged like hell.
first escape game i ever played and despised. did all required task, and still could not get out. 1:12am 7/30/08 currently. I started to try and escape at 10pm. well couldn't get out so i'm spending the night. good night all.
