Eight Keys Escape is another point and click type escape the room game from Games Handbook. In this game, you are locked in a basement, and you have to find 8 keys hidden in the basement to open the door and escape. Can you able find 8 keys and escape from the basement? I have 2 keys so far.
i have 2 keys, a vase with flowers, a lock, a thing with a key shape on it, some kind of scissors and a lighter. stuck now...

Put key shape on the stand, then lock, and lighter beneath. Light the lighter and it will melt. Pour water in bucket, use tongs on melted key and put in bucket.
Where else did you find a key? I found one in the mirror. And I can't get past the puzzle.
don't turn off the lights, i don't think you can get them back on.

hi! maybe there's a key inside the light bulb? I tried to melt it with lighter but my hands burnt and had to restart...
I can't do the jigsaw puzzle. Nothing moves. Any suggestions?

put lighter under stannd (flame on), then turn off lights and get key
take the scissors to the light bulb. A key falls into the bowl with water. Then you can take the key out.

For the puzzle, somehow (lol), click on the lock, then one around the lock. Good Luck on this, I'm still trying to figure it out!!!

There's a bug with the light. I was able to get at least 3 keys that way. I still need one more.

I put in the 7 keys I had, then it went to a screen that looks like they may add another one eventually w/10 keys. Hmmm.....
A little buggy, key in bowl of water reappears and disappears when i touch the tongs - ok going to try the other new post :)

So far just four real keys.. light-bulb, table leg, neck, and melted lock
If you melted the key and lighter is burnin, open cabinet door, turn off the light, and another crucible shows up. Anybody know that?
Oops, I mean, cabinet door shut, turn off light, click cabinet door, turn on light and open cabinet door.
Where on the table leg?
You have to burn table leg, put lighter under and click leg
put the liter to the right table leg it will go under it click on the litter again and it will burn the table leg, but this also destroys the litter
you can get 7 keys from the crucible first but then the keys fron the mirror, table leg and light bulb don't go into your key inventory
I have 5 keys, one from lightbulb, one from mirror, one from crucible,and one from the flowers, after you shake them a couple of time it falls into the vase. Just click the bottom a few times and you can get it.

also the puzzle looks impossible, and i have no idea how to get the electrified key on the floor

This game is buggy, makes it difficult to figure out how far you have actually gotten
Okay, so far not getting any further tan 7 keys...
long time player, first time post. We get 5 real keys and can get 2more buggy keys. Can't get the electrified one (tried insulating somehow with the tub, but couldn't cut or modify it) either. Frustrating!
Managed to finish the puzzle first time around then computer crashed havent been able to do it again :(
print screen the puzzle, put it on paint and print out. Cut the pieces and put the puzzle together, then you should know how the actual picture looks like. And match the puzzle with it.
The picture is actually a car parked in a car porch with gates.
The car is on the bottom, the gate is on the top right, middle is the building/wall and tress all on the top left. Good luck~
For the locker puzzle ...
put the puzzle piece thats locked on the place where you want the right piece want to go ... if you know what i mean :D
To make it ... go around the good piece with the locked piece

By the way i have noticed that if i open the closet there will be again the thingy with the key in.
Now i have 6 keys only because of the thingy in the closet.

I've got all of the puzzle pieces in place except the very bottom right cornor and the one across from it (up one and left one)... This really sucks, 'cause I already finished the puzzle once, but then I turned off the light without the lighter and had to restart... I've tried everything I can think of, does anyone have any ideas???

I agree. I like the design of this game and most of the puzzles are good, but I HATE slider puzzles. This one's just not worth the frustration.
I have the key from the melted lock, table leg, mirror, lightbulb, flowers, and slider puzzle.
Playing around with the tub and tongs, I have 7 keys total...
I have not figured out how to open the cabinet door or pick up the key in the middle of the floor.
I'm pretty good at slider games (though this is one is a bit of a pain) and I've found that the best way to get a big one is to start at the oppisite end from the blank piece (in this case, the lock). So, since the lock needs to be in the bottom right point, the best place to start is at the top left - carefully making your way to the bottom right.
If I use only the 7 keys it will automatically open the door and you will walk out to see another door with 10 locks on it with the option to 'Try Again'.
Since as soon as that 7th key goes into the lock, I think that the key on the floor is a red harring and the door with the 10 locks on it *is* the end of the game.
If you ask me, if that was it then that was a terrible game! If you can find anything different then what I have posted here - PLEASE, let me know!

Oh! And I forgot... As long as you get the key from the melted lock and keep playing with the tongs you'll get all 7 of the keys. You don't actually have to get any of the others to open the door.

Oops ... now i got 7 keys, and pliers and bathtub are back in place, the 7 keys stay in the inventory ... cant do anything now grrr ... 1 still see 1 key in the lightbulb, could that be number 8 ? lol.
Hint slider puzzle,
trees left and right,
church + fence right side,
car 2 bottom rows.
Last right square is the locked one.
I cant copy the picture, otherwise i send it ... just trying to put the right one on his place.
Its not necessary to start over, you can right click the mouse and forword or rewind, then everything is back as it was.

Solved the puzzle yayyyyy ... i got key, then i did all the steps you guys did be4 ... but still have 7 keys, i did something wrong i guess ... killer the lighter on table leg ... so the puzzle is solvable.
Was trying out some things after solving the puzzle ... got burned again :D ... gone try again tomorrow.
But like Spidermoon7 said, after 7 keys you can get out and then you see 10 keyholes and try again,
perhaps there must be a way to get the last key but gone sleep on that 1 ... night all...and gl !
The puzzle is just a regular "slider" puzzle - the lock is where the empty hole would normally be. It should end up in the lower right corner once the picture is complete.
And it is possible, because I've done it twice now (stupid burned hands...)
.. when I try to do it I wind up with every square correct except the two to the left of the lock switched, which (mathematically) is impossible to solve..
It is always possible to solve the slider puzzle no matter what. You would just have to switch the completed puzzle around a bit. Once you have a 3x3 square it's a lot easier.
It's not always possible. From another forum: "A classic example of a Fifteen puzzle with just two tiles exchanged and a parity error! As others here did solve the slider, I can only assume that the program scrambles the picture to some starting position without checking for possible errors. As the game has some other bugs as well, that doesn't come as a total surprise..."
I guess I was just unlucky and it scrambled it unsolvably my first three/four times

I can't find keys. I only have three and the one in the vace. I haven't solved the puzzle yet but theres two key holes. you just have to find the right puzzle piece and put it in the correct spot, click on it and there will be an other key hole under it.

8th key is on your neck, you find it when you look at the mirror
all I did was get the bucket pour the water in it [got from vase] got lock and lighter and tongs went into closet and took brown thing. then I put the brown thing on the stand and put lighter under it put the lock on the brown thing and lighter melts it into a key I then put the brown thing in the tub of water and that cooled off key got key then opened the dresser got the brown thing on it has a hot key I did it 7 times got out Turns out u only need 7 keys

i got out u can get more then 1 key mold with hot medal in it in cabinet.
it wont let me pick up the bathtub so i only have 3 keys for right now from mirror table leg and flowers! any ideas on how to get the key out of the tub i tryed using the scissors but it just peaperaed and disapered back into the water again im stucK! please help!

keep making keys with the thing that you put the lock into by picking the disc with the mold up with the tongs (keeping it in the bucket of water)then droping it back in the water
