no walkthrough? argh. i've read the posts for ages now, and i can't get this 1st mirror on the trap door to find the red button, or am i meant to put it onto the cellar door, can't do that either and the mirror looks like it wants to fit on the trap door over the cellar door...??

after you turn the grey key back up to the cellar and get the mirror off the trap door, open it and flip the lever. then go back inside and click on the door on the far right, then you're done

fill the bath tub with water and then light the matches over the water to see a number 8.
I am stuck after turn the green key 8 times....
hate to disappoint this little dude, but whatever or whomever wants to scare him can go ahead. as far as i'm concerned it's a done deal. i tried to help the little fellow out. but then i thought why enter a haunted house to get him out. we could both go down. i'm not that brave.(lol) i think i got caught up in the music. it gave me high hopes. going to find another game.

OK I GET THE FEELING THAT IM WAY BEHIND HERE I GOT THE BALL MIRROR KNIFE CELLAR DOOR MATCHES FOUR COMPARTMENTS BUT IM STUCK NOW WHEN I FLIPPED THE FOUR COMPARTMENTS AND GO BACK DOWN INTO THE CELLAR OR WHAT AND THE MIRROR ON THE DOOR IS THAT THE TRAP DOOR OR THE CELLAR DOOR AND FOR GOD SAKES SOMEBODY CLUE ME IN ON THE LOST ART OF PLACING ITEMS TO STAY WHERE U WANT THEM.
MISS D HOW DID U GET THE BEAM OF LIGHT DOWN INTO THE CELLAR
1. Grab the red ball from the ground, look behind the left tree and grab the mirror
2. Click on some of the bricks on the right side of the building and get a knife(its above the window). The knight is actually in the brick that is around the end of the small tree branch. Click on it and it will zoom in, click on the tile again to reveal the knife. Use the knife to cut the attachment to the cellar door.
3. Go into the cellar and click on the bottom of the map, pick up the matches there.
4. Go back out. Use the Knife to cut some tree leaves on the right side. You have to click around a lot. Eventually, you will cut the right one and a beam of light will shine on the brick where the knife was.
5. Click the bottom right to turn the mirror and then click the circle to make the beam reflect into the left tree. Then click the far left bricks to the left of the leftmost tree to reveal four mirrors(you must click on all 4 compartments to reveal the mirrors). This will reflect light onto the cellar door.
6. Take the mirror and put it on the cellar door and then click it to make it reflect on the door. This reveals a red switch that you can use to get into the house
7. Get into the house and pick up the blue key(Jewel) in the upper room in a pillow. Use the knife on the right pillow to obtain the key.
8. Use the blue Jewel on the secret chamber and turn six times. This will unlock the top drawer in the kitchen. Then pick up the grey key(Jewel) from the kitchen and turn it seven times on the secret chamber to unlock the upstairs right door.
9. Use the lamp to brighten the room and you’ll discover a red key(jewel under the pipe).
10. Click on scary baby picture to open the safe and collect green jewel

That as far as I’ve gotten. This game is a real pain to play as the click-spots are insanely small and it takes ages to figure out where the heck to click. It took forever to actually guess-click and finish the game. If you like clicking alot, this may be the game for you, otherwise, I’d play something else. This is sort of an epic fail as escape games go.

Red key is at the bottom of the pipe on the left side of the wall in the bathroom. I am stuck after turning the last key (green) 8 times, I cant seem to find what that opened.....any hints out there for that?

I'll give you a clue, it has to do with the trap door and the light coming from it.
for the last key:
turn it 8 times. go to cellar open the trap door pull lever.then go upstairs try the rightest door.
Go back into the cellar. Remove mirror and open trap door. Move lever, head back upstairs and click on right side door at top. Out!
red key is near drain pipe - put the lamp on the shelf
last key opens the floor panel in the cellar.
pull lever and the right nailed door opens and out.

all right I'm out thanks to you all but did anyone ever use the red ball? I don't think I did.
WALKTHROUGH:
1. Grab the red ball
2. Grab the mirror--behind the left tree
3. 7 bricks from the bottom, between the door and the window, click the brick, then in the zoomed-in view click the center brick. You should get the knife.
4. Use knife on the leaves on the right tree, towards the left side of its leaves. Cut 2-3 pieces until a light shines where you got the knife.
5. Zoom back in on the mirror where the knife once was (flip the brick back around) and click the right edge of the mirror twice until another light beam shines
6. Zoom in on the end of the new light beam on the tree, and click to make a third beam
7. Click on the wall where the third beam shines. Click the four bricks in the middle which will flip and turn into 4 more mirrors. Click the bottom of each mirror 3 times and zoom out. A fourth (and final) light beam should shine.
8. Zoom in on the cellar door (where the light now shines) and use the knife to tear open the green rope holding it shut. Enter the cellar.
9. Click around the base of the lamp until it zooms in and grab the matches
10. Place your mirror on the trap door and click it 3 times. One more light beam appears (that really is the last one)
11. A red button should appear on the wall. Click to zoom in, and then press it. Back up, and the entrance to the house is now open.
12. Go through the door on the bottom floor to enter what looks to me like a kitchen. Click on the plate all the way to the right and behind it is another mirror.
13. Click on the bottle on the shelf. Note the orange 7
14. Collect the lantern and exit.
15. On the right wall above a cupboard is a "device with a crystal ball". Click on it.
16. Click near the top of the device and light a match on the black hole. It looks like nothing happens, but back up and it is lit.
17. Use your second mirror below the crystal slightly above the back-up bar and a yellow 6 appears.
18. Back up and enter the door up the stairs.
19. Use your knife on the right side of the right pillow to get a "blue key"
20. Turn the lamp on and look at the calendar. A red 4 is now highlighted.
21. Back up and notice the box under the stairs on the wall. This is a secret chamber. Open it and place the blue key. Turn it 6 times (the yellow number we saw) and the top right drawer in the kitchen can now be opened. You do have to click on it once you place it before you start turning.
22. Go back in the kitchen, open the drawer and collect the grey key
23. Put the grey key in place, click on it, then turn it 7 times (orange number). This opens the door to the right of the bedroom.
24. Use your lantern to see and set it on the shelf.
25. Click on the bathtub and turn the left handle to run the water. I don't remember how but I got the bath to fill and give me the number 8.
26. Next to the pole in the upper left corner is a red key.
27. Go downstairs and use the red key. Turn it 4 times (red number)
28. On the wall opposing the secret chamber is a portrait of a baby. Zoom in on it, then click the center. There is a safe behind the portrait you just opened. Collect the 4th key
29. Place the fourth key and turn it 8 times
30. Go back to the cellar. Click on the mirror you placed on the trap door earlier until it is gone. Then click again to reveal a lever. Pull the lever.
31. It's hard to see, but there is a door next to the bathroom. Click on it. The lever unlocked this door and now you can escape
Note: I played it through without grabbing the red ball and still escaped. Guess we didn't need our red ball after all.
first time posting, but i feel just like home went iam in escape 24, feel like i know all of u , thank u so much for all the help that each and everyone give. thanks to that i have being able to escape must of the time. other wise i be in a basement colleting dust. thank u again
one more thing, what was the point of getting out we already started the game from outside? just a thought.

this is my first post and i see u all r stuck so heres how i got out .Use the Green jewel on the secret Chamber and turn it eight times. then go and click on the floor panel in the cellar where you placed your first mirror that should come up and u should see a lever pull the lever and that should open the locked door on the far right upstairs. and u should be out win.
turn the last key 8 times then go back to the cellar and click under the place where u put the first mirror, it will open the last gate to win the game ...
Im out!! OK guys heres the walktrough for you (after you get into the house).
-Click on the door on the left (upstairs)(not the far left.)
-Take the knife, and cut the right pillow on the bed. You find the blue key.
-Take the blue key back to downstairs and click on the picture that is next to the creepy baby picture.
-Put the blue into the slot turn it 6 times and it should unlock the top right drawer in the kitchen
-Take the gray key that is in the drawer, and the lantern that is on the counter.
-Put the grey key in and turn it 7 times. This should unlock the door on the right upstairs (not far right.)
-Take out your lantern and light up the room.
-Click on the very bottom of the pipe that’s on the left side of the room. You should see the red key.
-Put the red key in and turn it 4 times.
-Click on the creepy baby picture to reveal the safe. There you’ll find the green and final key.
- Rotate the green key 8 times and immediately go back into the cellar.
In the cellar
-Click on the trapped door where we placed the mirror earlier.
-Open it up and pull the lever. This should unlock the door that is to the very far right upstairs.
-Click on the door and you are out.
P.S. Red ball thingy doesnt do anything + other stuff which are clickable are useless such as bath, toilet, clock on the wall...

After turning the last gray key 8 times, go back to the dungeon and click on the trap door where you placed the mirror.
This will show you a lever, flip it and go back into the house.
This lever opens the nailed door on the top floor to the right.
And out!!!!! and never back in...

Hmm why is only the first page of comments showing up unless you view all? I don't remember that happening before. I posted a walkthrough because no one else had that I could tell, and it turns out a few people had (at least someone used it--don't worry, I always get help too lol)
But anyway I think a lot of people are having the same problem =/ because the original page doesn't tell you how to get out

Oh where to begin.....!!!! lol I love a good pixel hunt but the creator of this little gem took it to new heights!!!!!! I never mind a good challenge but from now on, I think I'm going to be extra careful about what I wish for!!!!! LOL I made it out, thanks to the "power of posting"!! Hi, I'm new here.
I'm playing this game and ended with the grey key. I've turned it 8 times, 9, 10, 11, 12 times but nothing happens........stuck.
Anybody else can help???
Outside:
-Pick up the red ball and the mirror.
-Look at the window on the right. Click around at the END of the branch touching the brick wall. Your screen should zoom in on one of the bricks. Click the brick and it will spin around revealing a knife attached to a mirror.
-Zoom back out and take out your knife. Start click around on the leaves at the top of the screen on the right (but not all the way on the right.) A beam of light should pop up, shining on the brick you just took the knife from.
-Zoom back in on that brick and click it. Click on the bottom right side of the mirror a couple of times to make the beam of light shine somewhere else.
-Click on the tree that the light is shining on, and you should see a small mirror on the left of the tree. Click it.
-Click on the wall all the way on the left side of the screen.
-There will be 4 bricks that you click on to reveal the mirrors behind them. Click the bottoms of each mirror to make the light shine on the cellar door.
-Click on the cellar door and cut the green rope with the knife.
The Cellar:
-Take the mirror that you found outside and place it on the cellar door.
-Click it a few times until it shines on a red button on the far right wall.
-It should open up the door leading into the house.
The House:
-Click on the door that is upstairs to the left (not the far left.)
-Take out your knife, and cut the pillow that is on the right. You should find the blue key.
-Take the blue key back downstairs and click on the picture that is next to the creepy baby picture.
-Put the blue into the slot on the left and click it to activate it. After activating it, click on it 6 times (not really fast), and it should unlock the top right door in the kitchen (which is downstairs to the right.)
-Take the gray key that is in the drawer, as well as the lantern that is on the counter.
-Put the gray key in it’s appropriate place, activate it, and turn it 7 times. This should unlock the door on the right upstairs (not far right.)
-Take out your lantern and light up the room.
-Click on the very bottom of the pipe that’s on the left side of the room. You should see the red key.
-Put the red key in it’s appropriate place, activate it, and turn it 4 times.
-Click on the creepy baby picture to reveal the safe. There you’ll find the green and final key.
-Same routine here folks. Rotate the green key 8 times and immediately go back into the cellar.
The Cellar:
-Click on the trapped door where we earlier placed the mirror.
-Open it up and pull the lever. This should unlock the door that is to the very far right upstairs.
-Click on the door and you can finally breathe!

Hey guys...heres a bit of info:
after you find the blue key in the pillow...insert it into the chamber and rotate it 6 times (since thats the number that the weird thing on the wall lit up on the mirror). now go to the kitchen and open the cabinet. place the grey key into the chamber and rotate it 7 times (the number designated so on the bottle). Now go upstairs and open the door on the right. access the bathroom via the lantern. turn on the water in the tub until you see a floating 8 appear. find the red key at the bottom of the long drain pipe at the back of the bathroom. insert the red key and rotate it 8 times...
sorry...rotate the red key 4 times not 8
now open the scary baby pic and get the green key...place it in the chamber and rotate it 8 times to open the trap door in the cellar where you kinda started out. remove the mirror from the trap door...then open the trap door and pull the lever. go back to the house and open the barred door on the far right...
youre out!

-Look at the window on the right. Click around at the END of the branch touching the brick wall. Your screen should zoom in on one of the bricks. Click the brick and it will spin around revealing a knife attached to a mirror.
-Zoom back out and take out your knife. Start click around on the leaves at the top of the screen on the right (but not all the way on the right.) A beam of light should pop up, shining on the brick you just took the knife from.
-Zoom back in on that brick and click it. Click on the bottom right side of the mirror a couple of times to make the beam of light shine somewhere else.
-Click on the tree that the light is shining on, and you should see a small mirror on the left of the tree. Click it.
-Click on the wall all the way on the left side of the screen.
-There will be 4 bricks that you click on to reveal the mirrors behind them. Click the bottoms of each mirror to make the light shine on the cellar door.
-Click on the cellar door and cut the green rope with the knife.
The Cellar:
-Take the mirror that you found outside and place it on the cellar door.
-Click it a few times until it shines on a red button on the far right wall.
-It should open up the door leading into the house.
The House:
-Click on the door that is upstairs to the left (not the far left.)
-Take out your knife, and cut the pillow that is on the right. You should find the blue key.
-Take the blue key back downstairs and click on the picture that is next to the creepy baby picture.
-Put the blue into the slot on the left and click it to activate it. After activating it, click on it 6 times (not really fast), and it should unlock the top right door in the kitchen (which is downstairs to the right.)
-Take the gray key that is in the drawer, as well as the lantern that is on the counter.
-Put the gray key in it’s appropriate place, activate it, and turn it 7 times. This should unlock the door on the right upstairs (not far right.)
-Take out your lantern and light up the room.
-Click on the very bottom of the pipe that’s on the left side of the room. You should see the red key.
-Put the red key in it’s appropriate place, activate it, and turn it 4 times.
-Click on the creepy baby picture to reveal the safe. There you’ll find the green and final key.
-Same routine here folks. Rotate the green key 8 times and immediately go back into the cellar.
The Cellar:
-Click on the trapped door where we earlier placed the mirror.
-Open it up and pull the lever. This should unlock the door that is to the very far right upstairs.
-Click on the door and you can finally breathe!

ok so after u get the last key and turn it 8 times that will open the trapped door in the cellar. under the cellar pull the lever this will open ur escape door. which is the one to the far right.

Oh yeah, do ya think 8 walkthroughs are enough for 1 game??? Hmmmm, maybe not, just a little curious there....LOL
1) Take the ball first.
2) Take the mirror from the trunk of the dead tree.
3) Click on the brick in the wall, take the knife that appears from here.
4) Cut the leaves of the tree, so that the light rays will fall on the brick.
5) Click on the brick again, and adjust the mirror seen here to redirect the light.
6) Adjust the reflector on the tree to redirect the light on the wall.
7) Click on the four bricks on the wall where the light falls, and adjust the mirrors to reflect the light on the cellar door.
8) Use the knife to cut the ropes binding the cellar door.
9) Enter the cellar and place the mirror on the trap door to reflect the light on the switch on the wall.
10) Press the switch to open the door.
11) Pick up the matchbox at the foot of the lamp in the cellar.
12) Enter the living room and click on the kitchen door to open.
13) Pick up the lamp in the kitchen, and the glass behind the Chinaware.
14) Use a matchstick to light the hole at the top of the device with the crystal ball.
15) The crystal ball will start glowing.
16) Place the mirror at the base of the crystal ball, the number 6 in the crystal ball will appear inverted as 9 in the mirror.
17) Note down the number 7 on the bottle.

29) This will open the trapdoor in the cellar.
30) Pull the lever under the trapdoor.

On the last part, You should put the last key on the secret chamber and turn it 8 times. After that, you should go back to the place where the trap door is to get the mirror back to your inventory and to open the trap door. After opening the trap door, you should clcik the switch under it and go back inside the house. Go upstair and click on the right most door and your out!
turn the last key and the trapdoor in the seller will open, turn the switch and go to the left close door upstairs

hi every one, when u turn 8 times the last key, go back to the cellar door, and open it, ull find a switch..move it, and go back to the house. The right door upstar can be opened.

ok i am almost done with this game, where is the cellar at
Collect the ball and mirror from the ground,then go to the branch above the window to the right (you should zoom in when you click there). there is a knife in the wall compartment, get it and cut the green string to the cellar door. Go into the celler and get the match box near the lamp at the bottom. Got back outside and use the knife to cut some of the leaves on the trees on the top righthand corner, this will allow light to shine on to the mirror that you found the knife on. adjust the mirror by clicking onto the sides of it,you will notice that the beam of light has shined onto a new position. click on that area and the beam will move tward the wall, click on four bricks that all form a square,four mirrors will appear in its place and adjust those also. The beam now should be focused on the cellar door, go into the cellar, place the mirror you picked up in the beginning on the area on the cellar floor the beam should point to a red area on the wall towards your right click on the red botton and the door should open.
