ReplyDeleteand see it now after scrolling up a hundred comments that weren't refreshing! thanks guys!
ReplyDeletelori put a decimal point after the first 3 in the set of numbers that you have written... think back to mmths class at high school...
ReplyDeleteif your're still stuck it is a homonym for the song 'American ---'
it's 3.43 a.m. here in Argentina, I'm still cracking my brains with #28!
ReplyDeletei've tried reversing the numbers and converting them into binary system, but they don't make any sense, at least to me :)
ReplyDeletethank you Penny, with Gustavo's help I was able to get past #25 and am now stuck on evil #28 :)
ReplyDeleteanyone an idea for level 25?
ReplyDelete(the tv thing) please!!!
i added a hint @ lvl 28..check it out guys..
ReplyDeleteYAY. 28: Use the numbers as exponents,
ReplyDelete2^5 + 2^2 +2^0
Look it up on google maps.
Its the name of a place.
Stuck on #25
ReplyDelete3 K - Ant
1 Snow - Nothing - Static
4 Chicken
1 Snow - Nothing - Static
5 Testscreen
9 UFO
stuck on 29... the first picture is the peeing boy statue from belgium, the 3rd is the diamond allotrope of carbon inside a female symbol...
ReplyDeleteWhat answer lays in the past??
ReplyDeletethe female symbol is also the symbol for venus.. if that adds any meaning
ReplyDeleteStuck on #28 now
ReplyDeleteI came up with 35.39 138.74
But that doesn't seem to get me anywhere significant.
sh4rky: 2^5+2^2 is not 39
ReplyDeleteGot it now :)
ReplyDeleteon to 29.
-Manneken Pis
-Handsignal for two
-Symbol of Venus
Hmm...
peeing boy, peace sign, venus/female carbon/diamond....hmmm...
ReplyDeleteBlub
ReplyDeletedates? mod26? then where does it lay in the past?
Not sure whether to leap!
still on 28
ReplyDeletemy co-ords just don't seem to the trick
In #29, the handsign also stands for the letter "V" or #2, according to the american manual alphabet for deafs
ReplyDeletedo you think there is anything in the years they were discovered or first used? I have 1415, 1610 and 1619 (can't remember which is which, but one is first date of the mannekin pis, one is the date Venus was identified, and the last is when the V-sign was first used....I am probably grasping at straws here...
ReplyDeletei thrully don't know, lori... but according to morv, we're looking for a word which beggins with P, so i don't know if the years related to the legend of manneken will help. i've already tryed to work out something on this way, but i got to no where.
ReplyDeletewell, for today i'm very tired of trying a solution, perhaps tomorrow, with some insight, someone will figure it out. good luck for all.
ReplyDeleteStuck #28.....
ReplyDeleteYes Gus, I read that hint from Morv also. I was thinking it may not be a "P" but could also be a "U"??? Also stuck on the metals or elements:Bronze, V (Valadium), Carbon...it's not PVC or polyvinylchloride. Trying to figure out the math hint with the pictures..argh!
ReplyDeleteCrook, that is a hard one. But if you look at xxuglehellethxx's hint 16 comments up you should be able to get it!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDelete@vbranam1: I'm right here!
Wasn't able to get behind my computer for a few days. Still don't know the answer to the last question from episode 1. I'm now working on episode 2, but I'm stuck at level 28. Nevr worked with google earth before and can't get it to start or download. Can someone tell me how I should word with this?
ludwien: just use google maps
ReplyDeletethe numbers correspond to coordinates, you just need to translate them
Ludwien, you can do a google search for "Google maps latitude longitude" and the first hit is a window you can enter lat and long on google maps without going to google earth. If you aren't sure what you're looking at when it shows up, click on the "more" option at the top of the screen and click on Wikipedia. That will tell you what it is you've landed on! Good luck!
ReplyDeletemapquest works
ReplyDeleteel zupp did you ever solve 29? So far I have this:
ReplyDelete1. It's a word (hint from Morv)
2. The first letter of the word has something to do with what mannekin pis is doing.
3. Another hint from an alternate site; a lady commented that she "just needs to find another word for woman" and she'd have the solution. She apparently did get it because she was on to 30, but she didn't share any more hints.
Any help is appreciated if you have it to give!
Thanks!
got it! checked that person's profile and someone gives her major hints. FINALLY on to the next one =)
ReplyDeletei had a feeling that the V taken from "mathematical logic" meant 'or'... i just didn't pursue it XD
ReplyDeleteOkay, did what xxuglehellethxx suggested and ended up with three addresses in Chicago....someone just give me the answer or a better hint, please!!!!

ReplyDeleteHi, i see that you have read my shouts, i hope, it was usefull for you? :-)
ReplyDeleteyes it was thank you.. but now i'm also stuck on 30. first thing i thought of was dates (taken from the hint and the fact that all the numbers are below 30 on the left and below 12 on the right) i checked several wikipedia pages and looked for similarities in the dates but there's just too much information on each one. i think i need a hint again =X
ReplyDeleteHi Mike,
ReplyDeleteFirst i thought :the numbers are fractions, but that is not true.
Take the 4 letter form riddle 3 etc. Then you becomes four words that you have to fill in.
then you have to answer three other questions, i have the answer of two questions. the third: i don't known what it is.
# Mike: Scrypta is my nickname
