Thanks. I'm trying again to see if I can find all the cards, but I think it's getting a little buggy on me. First there was no fire extinguisher, so I reloaded. Then I was missing the card under the couch cushion. We'll see if this time works.
Please help...I'm stuck!
I got a 200 for the circle, a 17 for the triangle. I put the transparencies into the clipboard and got square triangle circle star. I cannot take the paper out of the clipboard or use the blue star paper anywhere in it. Also, someone mentioned that there is a number under one of the sofa boards--i have clicked everywhere on the left sofa board and cannot find it.
Nevermind about the number under the board on the left sofa. I got it after the millionth click!
Please help on the star/clipboard?

@eleni use your screwdriver on the 2 front clips and then you can take out the paper
Elini, there are two 'tabs' at the bottom of the clipboard that you have to pull out first to open it.
Did you need a screwdriver Jusme? I can't remember...sorry Eleni, listen to Jusme. She'll make more sense than me lol

Thanks guys. It turns out that I thought I was supposed to take the paper out with the shapes on it. But you all were talking about the paper we took out way in the beginning! Found my number.

Shino, I think you have to apply math properties...Multiply the two digits first, then do the add and subtract. You should get a 4 digit number then.
Shino, look at it like this:
55+(17x200)-3
You get 3452.

Walkthrough so far:
- Pick up helmet on table
- Pick up star paper under right sofa cushion
- Pick up number card under left sofa cushion
- Go to posters above left sofa
- Click on right corner of bottom poster to pick up helmet sticker
- Click plant beside sofa until leaf falls. Click the blue switch to turn off the fan
- Go to fan and pick up key
- Click on photo frame to see pictures below
- Arrange the sections on the right side of cabinet based on one of the pictures (card with most green, card with yellow, clock, calendar, colorful icons, japanese words)
- Now you can open the drawers below
- Pick up number card and helmet
- Click to right of drawers to pick up fire extinguisher
- Use key from fan to open locker
- Pick up last helmet
- Go back to helmet rack
- One of the helmets doesn’t have a sticker. Zoom in and paste the sticker you picked up
- Arrange the helmets based on the names on the rack
- Solve slider puzzle to get key
- Picture in slider puzzle shows screwdriver on right leg of table between sofas
- Use key to open left drawers in cabinet
- Pick up extinguisher stand, click again to get key under drawer ‘base’
- Use key on middle of cabinets
- Pick up valve, transparency roll, temperature sensor, yellow tag
- Select yellow tag, press red button, then the red character. It will turn around to a blue character. Click behind to see 39 degrees
- Go to yellow box on floor beside floor. Put fire extinguisher and stand there
- Pick up green key hanging from the sign
- Go to pipes in wall. Temperature sensor appears. Click red button to turn it on
- Use green key on red lock on 3rd pipe from left. Pick up red thing, open it to get number card inside
- Put valve onto 2nd pipe
- Adjust the pipe flows until you get 39 degrees
- Go back to middle of cabinet and turn the valve. It should say READY and open the left bottom drawer
- Put temperature sensor and yellow tag into bottom drawer. Click key to turn and open the glass display
- Go to red box, pick up lighter and transparency roll inside
- Pick up number card under no smoking stand
- Collect broom
- Zoom into broom stand and collect number card
- Pick up number card on left light from roof
- Hang broom in locker and open secret panel on left of locker. Pick up signboard
- Go back to broom stand. With signboard selected, click the metal pieces and they will rotate until you can put your signboard there
- Click on clock and use screwdriver on bottom. Clock turns into spotlight
- Turn off light in room, go left and see lighted spot on floor
- Turn on light again and go to the spot and pick up transparency roll
- Pick up clipboard on right side of locker
- Select clipboard, open it by clicking the flaps on the bottom of the clipboard, remove paper inside
- Unroll transparency and put all inside to see (square + triangle x circle – Star)
- Select paper inside and use star paper on it to get star number
- Triangle number is inside red sign above extinguisher, circle number is below the No Smoking stand, square is on wooden piece on left sofa arm
- Number goes into the door
- Other number cards: gap left of locker, on left sofa, under no smoking card on small table between sofas, behind poster between sofas (NOTE THAT THE POSITIONS OF NUMBER CARDS CHANGE WITH EVERY GAME!!!)
- Put all cards onto door. (21 year 01 month 29 day on top, 4 digit number below)
- Go to right drawer and click red buttons
- When you click the top red button, a pipe appears under the clock. Pick up the pipe.
- Click the bottom red button to open the door
I went out without smoking my cigarette and peed in my pants too. :(
Maybe someone can try with smoking the cigarette. You can throw your used cigarette in the red box by the way.

I have a feeling the pipe was suppose to go on the stand the broom was but thanks to a bug it gets placed there regardless if you have it or not.
Someone said if you get a white screen but wait, something else will appear. What?! I got the white screen and didn't wait, and now I'm dying of curiosity!

As promised, here is a list of where to find the cards that go in the door. Keep in mind that they are in different spots each game (which is why there are more than 10). Also, I'm probably missing at least one spot, because I haven't managed to get all ten cards in one game. (I'm also getting really good at the darn slide puzzle.
Here's the list with the location, followed by what size the card is:
1. Under coffee table/small
2. Under left cushion of right couch/small
3. To the left of the locker/small
4. Top right drawer/big
5. Underneath left couch/small
6. Under small no smoking sign on table
7. Inside wheel cover once you take it off/big
8. Under circular no smoking sign (behind the glass wall)/big
9. Behind broom/sign holder (behind glass wall)/small
10. Behind left light (behind glass wall)/big
11. Behind picture under construction hats/small
12. Behind green poster in view with sofas/small
13. On top of locker/small
14. On top of fan/small

Thanks Martin! Does anyone know how to get the valves to 39 degrees?
The easiest way for me to set the valves was...from left to right...each has 3 positions so select the middle position for the first three and then adjust with the last (r/h) valve. It may differ from game to game but that has worked for me each time.
I'm having trouble with my code. I've rechecked the maths and it seems to be the right code but it's 5 digits and there are 6 numbers on the top row of the door panel. I've tried putting a Zero at the beginning or the end but doesn't work.
Sharon - what do you mean by the first number is 21? If I input 21 then I only have 4 spaces left and 5 numbers in my code!

In my game, the fire extinguisher was not close to the cabinet, but near the wall, on the floor, on the left of the right couch !
I still can't find 2 small and 2 large cards. What is the screwdriver used for ?

I've clicked evereywhere and read the hints again and again, and there is still a small card that I can't find. This is VERY frustrating !
So only alternative end I've found is the good end, dont smoke the cigarette and the job is yours.
I really want to play this game but just wasting time with the slider puzzle. Please game makers slider puzzles are NOT fun just frustrating. So like many others..I'll pass. Thanks but no thanks.
i input the digits correctly and pushed the buttons to get the white pipe...now i'm STUCK! should i have waited to smoke the cigarette?
Is there NO-ONE who can post the slider solution? I worked on it for like a 1/2 hour last night and 1/2 hour today. I'm hopeless with them. I get the whole damn thing together except two are out of place, then I can't for the life of me figure out how to get them in place. And, yes, I've worked from left to right. And I've tried working from top to bottom or bottom to top...doesn't WORK.
um yeah so i finished the game? and the screen just went white...what kind of ending is that? no reward at all?!!?
Trish, I feel your pain. I had given up and then decided to try one last time and got it. But I can't say how as I just got lucky. Sliders really take the fun out of playing. I wish I could help and wish you luck. :)
I got out very quickly, without even opening the cigarette pack and still got the "pee pants no job" ending. What's up???
By the way. If you get a white screen ending, be patient and wait a minute and you'll see a loading bar come up. When it's done you'll see your ending.
I got the "good" end! All I did differently was make sure the fan was on before I left, which might not be important, but also I did not take the cigarette out of the box.
Found another spot the cards for the door can be hidden: behind the couch. Click just above the couches and you can look behind them.
Found yet another possible spot for the cards: in the plant under the construction hats.
Seems like certain things in this game appear in random places every time you load it. Therefore walkthroughs are not entirely useful.
Where are the numbers in the circle and the triangle?
Also, I found a bug. You can pt up the sign behind the glass wall before getting the while plastic pole.
I normally hate slider puzzles, but this one is possible....start with the lights and dark grey, rotate up to the top, (using the top two rows rotate around and pull down into the middle gap to switch around pieces),then the next line, the hard bit is the bottom two rows, but try rotating them around and pulling the middle piece down when you have a gap.
Bernard triangle is the red sign above fire extinguisher by door and circle under a round stand in the display of safety items. There is a walkthru above....

that was a GREAT game!!! I only got the white screen ending, but who cares? The challenges were outstanding.

About white screen: it seems that people from moregames24.com (Alternative link) just did not copied external ending SWF file. Both Japanese sites are OK.

BTW: getting job depends on no smoking or "safe" smoking (venting smoke from room and using ashtray), pissing is triggered by 7.5h of game play.
I got the happy ending! I tried to do a very clean run-through. No messing around with the transparencies, cigarettes etc.
Alright, I got the good ending from the original site! I didn't open the cig pack, so I didn't have to turn on the fan again.

how did you get a pipe from entering in the numbers? All entering them in for me was unlock the door
i solved the hat part, puzzle part and the number cards
But I CANT FIND ANY FIRE EXTINGUISHER!!!!
You get a different end if you don't open the cigarettes, that you have from the start, don't open the clock, don't get the lighter, (don't try to open the fan while it is still on->not sure anymore) and don't use the button for the small number-plate-code.
Actually it is impossible to get it right from the start, since if you get any of the transparencies, you will get the end with the guy peeing in his pants and him being rejected by the company. So you have to remember what the transparencies said and don't to use them when retrying.
The introduction says in short, that the guy is applying in an unconventional with signs dealing company. After he was shown around, he has to wait in that room, but when after 30 minutes nobody comes and he has to use the toilet, he recognizes, that the door is shut.
When you escape, there is written, that the whole setup was the application test to see if the guy can deal with security. If you get it right, than he gets the job (but there is no toilet anyway XD)
The hiding places of the number plates and the numbers you have to use for the calculation are partly different every time you start over, so rather save the game, if you want to retry ^^

WOW!!! What a game! You'd better have some time to kill on this one but well worth it. I thought I would pee in my pants when I read the comment by DanManX @ 10:31 on 1/28/09 after solving the slider. That was worth it all!!
There is a major problem with this game identified by many that did it when it first came out. For some, there is no fire extinguisher. I've tried several times and there is no extinguisher anywhere for me so I cannot finish the game. Frustrating.
@Phaedrus The items in this game change places. I've found the fire extinguisher behind the right sofa and second time at the right side of the cupboard.
Thanks Peke, but I did look everywhere I could think of because I read a similar suggestion in the old thread. I'll try once more because other than that it's a good game.
