  1. hmmm, figured how to move needles, but what is sequence?

  2. Larue, I think I have 6 parts of the machine : 4 are identical, one looks like a half of a bracelet (like yours), and another one (the biggest) looks like an electric engine. I thought that we had to open the door before finding the other parts, aren't we ? As long as I can't solve the problem of the first lock, I'm stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  3. LindaB you simply click on 4 buttons of gold machine on the left side till all gauges are on red. :)

  4. Tania thanks, but i have been spinning them around for 20 minutes...lol. Anyone remember the exact sequence?

  11. At the previous page of corse ;) All the other things aboute the collourgame with lines and the needles of the meters and the letternote are also explained on the previous page at the end :)

    ReplyDelete
  12. The needles and the gauges are not explained in any previous post. I get that they all have to be on red, but I can NOT for the life of me figure out how to do that.

  13. Linda click on the buttons near the machine on the left.I don't remember this game so freshly played a half an hour or an hour before, completed with the help of peple =P the only puzzle I solved on my own was the colour lines puzzle.

  14. Sorry didn't noticed you started a new page thought you still need help :s

  15. BreakBtJunkie, there is a pattern for the buttons. If you click on them not all the needles are turning. Don't know the order anymore (I'm already out for a long time) but if you click the right ones, the bottom needle stucks, so first put the 1st and 2nd needle in a different position, than put the bottom needle over 12 o'clock, than with the other buttons than for the bottom needle try to put the bottom needle on red. If the other needles are not on red, than they where in the wrong place before you put the bottom needle over 12 o'clock, so try another position than for the 1st or second needle who wasn't on red, and again, about the bottom needle.
    Hope it makes sense..

  18. ok, have to make dinner now, Think all the answers are on the previous page.
For the last puzzle, (letter note) you have to click on the machine, but it only works if you have all the pieces.

Use magnificglass to see the places in every view to look for the places you forgot. Every possible place will blink a circle if you click on the magnific glass.

    Good luck, bye

  19. Thank you Carola, but what I was looking for was not the answer but an explanation (-:
I just miss the code for the side lock (3435 ?).

    ReplyDelete
  20. @Pascale,

    FOUR
    FIVE+
    ______
    NINE

imagen that all the letters are random numbers from 0-9
FIVE has to be a multiplay of 5,so E must be a 5 or 0.
But NINE is a multiplay of 3, So E only can be: 5
    So if E=5 than R must be 0, because 0+5=5 R+E=E,
    and so on ;)

  21. Thank you, Carola, I already got this, but couldn't go much further...
Anyway, I gave up this puzzle and opened the lock like if I had found the combination myself. Now, I am in a front of coloured cables... Don't know what colours to select.

  37. Okay, I really loved this one.....

    ReplyDelete
  38. For the
    FOUR
    FIVE
    ----+
    NINE puzzle:

R+E=E (last column) means that R=0, and E=5 (because FIVE can be divided by 5, is can be ) or %, but R is already 0)

2nd column, O+I=I would be similar, but O cannot be 0 anymore. Therefore we know that there is probably a 1 left over from teh 3rd column (U+V>10), so in fact O+I+1=I. O can only be 9, and therefore the total here is also more then 10, thus moving a 1 to the 1rst column.
That means that F+F+1=N. That means N is an odd number.
F can be 1, making N=3, or F can be 3, and N 7. F cannot be 2, because that would make N=5, but E is already 5. Similarly, F cannot be 4, because that would make N 9, and O is already 9. Also, F cannot be greater then 4, because then the bottom number would be 5 digits.
Suppose F=3, and N=9. That means that U+V has to be 19. That's impossible, bacause neither can be more then 10. Therefore
    F=1, N=3
That makes U+V=13. That can be 4+9 (but O is already 9) or 5+8 (but E is already 5), or 6+7. Now which is which:

if U=7, FOUR would be 1970. This can't be divided by 4. Therefore U=6, and V=7

That means that FIVE = 1x75, and NINE=3x35. For NINE to be divisible by 3, I can be 1, 4 or 7. But 1=F, and 7=V, therefore I=4, FIVE is then 1475, and NINE = 3435, which is the answer to open the middle lock.

  41. how do you get into the house?

    ReplyDelete
  42. A.. You must read the book before looking for the front door. Once you've read the note, the spot is right above the bushes on the right of the house.

    B. Grab the microscope from the front step of the house. The only puzzle on this page is a cat's face. In order to get into the house, you have to make the cat's face line up. You'll notice that changing one tile might affect another. Start with the far left, make it into whiskers, and change them as you go. The third one from the right is independent, and doesn't affect others, so leave it for last. Look for something in the bushes.

C.Inside the house, you have to arrange the bottles from one amount to another. One page that helps is if you wikipedia it. Remember amounts count as much as what label it is. gallon, kilderken, firkin, barrel, hogshead. Place them all to the left, the last ring should appear grey. Grab note from shelf on left. Grab strange item on right shelf.

    D. Grab half circle item. Look for two notes. One looks to be in the sink (if that's what it is) and one is in a strange square notch in the wall (if that's what that is).

    E. Grab strange barrel item. Look in the cabinet for a dot game. It is played like this. 0 being black, x being green, . being the empty white spot.
    000.xxx
    000x.xx
    00.x0xx
    0.0x0xx
    0x0.0xx
    0x0x0.x
    0x0x0x.
    0x0x.x0
    0x.x0x0
    .x0x0x0
    x.0x0x0
    xx0.0x0
    xx0x0.0
    xx0x.00
    xx.x000
    xxx.000

    F. The three codes are from the notes you have. 4837 is the bottom right hand lock. 0076 is the top right hand. 3435 is the left hand lock.

    G. Enter room and grab the item on top of the strange item on the desk. Click box in cabinet under computer (to the left). Beside computer monitor, you have a game to play. Figure out the colour combination of the wires. Follow each wire to where it's spit out at the bottom, and enter that colour into the top left hand lock.
Once you've completed EVERYTHING, you can click on the machine that looks like a brewery. It's to the right of the chair.

    H. In this machine, you have to make all the little needles line up with the red marks on the dial. Try lining up the middle needle first, by clicking the correct node (bottom right hand). This also changes one of the other needles, but if you've made it this far, you can make it through this...

    I. The last puzzle is similar to H. You have to hit the nobs on the top, bottom, left and right, in order to spell something. Focus on what's in the brackets, more than what's in the large paragraph. ECCLESIASTES 2:14
