Found an 8 ball and magnifying glass so far.

So far I've got a magnifying glass and an 8 ball. I can find nothing to do with either of them.

Trap door, we're gonna need a screwdriver.
So, I don't know what the up and down arrows are for to the side of the screen, and the fact that the X keeps flashing is kinda unsettling...
Also, there appear to be arrows on the floor of the screen with the chair in the corner, but I don't know why or what they're for.

Okay, I found 2 trap doors on the same screen. One has a key pad, the other a keyhole.

I think the diagram on the top right of the screen is all the rooms we can get into and maybe the up down arrows are for those?-just a thought

use magnifying glass on flag pin you find in trap door furthest from the chair then stick it on the globe
also found blue flag, don't know what it's for...
There is a little blue flag in the first trapdoor ..
On the trap door closest to the chair, use the magnifying glass on the top part of the machine or whatever it is, it gives you sometype of clue

Solved the code for the right side trap door.
Use magnifying glass on area just above the number pad.
Refer to the arrows to draw the numbers for the code.
Not quite sure what I retreived...a knob?

If you draw lines in the directions the arrows point, it will draw out a number. Hint...first one was

for the arrow numbers, I found that you have to draw the line as far as it will go in that direction. not just one space. Worked for me my number was 8536.
Wall paper clue escapes me. I wrote down the pattern from the area by red carpet, but can't see a relation to wall paper.
i got 8596 but its not working
oh maybe because its 8536 haha!!
ok, put the button that I got from the number pad, on the whole next to stairs and now have more numbers to solve

The only pattern that is apparent to me with the wallpaper is that the circles with 2 or more little knobs are lighter than the ones with 1 or less. Maybe count them?

I missed the beginning again! trying to catch up...
tried counting number of times each symbol from the door apears on the wall and got 09678 but does not work. Either I counted wrong or am on the wrong track. Wall paper is giving me a headache though.
@bet - you should have gotten a screwdriver from the globe. Zoom in on chair and do your scredriver stuff.

tab key implies the lower right side of wall is the important part - same place the symbols make sound when you click them. Relation to symbols on door?

elbotto, so far I have 0 for first symbol and 7 for second symbol, will count the rest.
@alistanz, did you view the flags with mag glass first?

First - use magnifying glass on flag to determine what country it should go on. Blue was Columbia and Red was Morocco.
Second, zoom in on globe then place the flag on the correct place on the globe. If you geographically challenged like me, look up the map for the country on google.

Got a knife or sword or something
cut the rope
use on hook
place the cannonball like the 8 ball and get a ladder.
8 ball goes on the platform.. use the knife to get the rope.. attach it to the hook.. get the other ball out of the cannon.. get to 3rd floor
click on the rope ends to move the cannon so the cannon ball falls out and pick up cannon ball and put it in hole opposite 8 ball. Now in new room via ladder
cut rope with dagger
use cannon ball on right thing
get a ladder
put ball from the canon near trapdoor in second room and we have a ladder now

Put robe on gun, get ball en put it on the round thing besides the 8-ball. Stairs will come up!

Ok, entered both sets of the square symbols into the machine and got two green lights and two new sets of symbols. was able to enter the first new set but don't know where the second new set is. anyone?

@sabrina...pop the corks on the bottles with the screwdriver to get the knife
if the symbol keypad corresponds to a number keypad and you follow the symbols along top of wall, code would be 482937516 . But for what?

When inputting the symbols, put the two codes in individually, one before the other. That will give you two green half circles above that device.

I do think one is not accurate though.
