    ReplyDelete
  76. I randomly clicked the WENDY box and got it open. Sorry i don't know what order I clicked the buttons, but I've got another dial now

    ReplyDelete
  77. is that code for the dials?
cuz it doesn't work on box with since+ecnis=

    ReplyDelete
  78. pput 1963 in there...nothing happened

    ReplyDelete
  79. you know that ecnis is opposite of since

    ReplyDelete
  80. Tracey, Tao, look at what the extra characters say on the safe, and do what they say to open the safe

    ReplyDelete
  81. dudes, its Since+Ecnis, so it's 1963 + 3691

    ReplyDelete
  82. is there something I am missing 1963?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Since 1963 + ecnis 3691

    ReplyDelete
  84. Okay, so the sign on the building says Since 1963.

The extra symbols on the code box tell us that Since + Ecnis =

    So 1963 + 3691 is the code.

    ReplyDelete
  85. It's just as well you clever people are out there Tao!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Stuck on Wendy, random doesn't work

    ReplyDelete
  87. lol, was that ironic, loobyloo?

    ReplyDelete
  88. trying everything with wendy now...

    ReplyDelete
  89. Thanks. (no "e" in the name btw)
All that's left is the wendy box and the abcd code

    ReplyDelete
  90. hint with the Wendy box please

    ReplyDelete
  91. just missing the wendy color scheme for last piece. anyone have the color scheme?

    ReplyDelete
  92. Remember the symbols on the box in the closet.

    "Since + ecnis ="

Now think about what you saw outside the window. Hopefully this will give you the code to open the box in the closet where you'll find the 3rd dial

    ReplyDelete
  93. No Tao deadly serious :-)

    ReplyDelete
  94. Aw heck, I can't type fast enough....DanManx beat me to it!

    ReplyDelete
  95. This Wendy thing doesn't make any sense!

    ReplyDelete
  96. It's times like these that I wish I could read Japanese.
    Actually I've always wanted to...

    ReplyDelete
  97. and out! Wish I could help with the wendy thing, I'll go back and have another go to see if I can work it out

    ReplyDelete
  98. Okay, there's six colors...but five letters in "WENDY." WENDY has to mean something, right? We just don't know what.

What are the colors? White, Green, Blue, Red, some other shade of red, and Yellow.

How does all of this come together?

    ReplyDelete
  99. Wendy thing has to do with the letters in the colors. Like e.g. Red has a D so just use that as the 4th color.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Also, has anyone figured out what we're supposed to use the pencil for?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Which red, though, Justme?

    ReplyDelete
  102. yellow as the 1st color (Has Y). Blue as 2nd. (Has an E) and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  103. aha! Thanks Justme, it's the last letter of the colour! No use for pink

    ReplyDelete
  104. Green has an N so thats the 3rd color. I'll let you work out the rest. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  105. I tried the combinations. White is the only one with W. Both Green and Blue have an E, but only Green has an N, so I'm guessing Blue is the E. So it's White, Green Blue...then one of the Reds, and Yellow.

I've tried both reds on separate occasions, and they don't work.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Im proud of myself. I worked it out all on me own. He he.. :)

    ReplyDelete
  107. Dan it's the last letters of each color. Pink would be the last color.

    ReplyDelete
  108. thanks, Justme, you're made for these kind of deductions:P

    ReplyDelete
  109. but white doesn't end in Y...

    ReplyDelete
  110. so we have all buttons, A=270, 2B=C, A+B+C+D=810...

    ReplyDelete
  111. Tracy, that Gray

    ReplyDelete
  112. Man, I didn't think of the last letters thing...and for some reason the Gray looked White to me, so it threw me off anyway.

So how do we figure out the code for the dials?

    ReplyDelete
  113. its not white. its grey

    ReplyDelete
  114. Now I need to work out the code for dials.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I am here if you need clue for the final dials

    ReplyDelete
  116. out! dials are tricky, all to do with angles in a circle

    ReplyDelete
  117. I figured they were angles in a circle. Sadly, math isn't my strong point.

Here's what I've got though: given the equations we know of, we can get the equation 270 + 3B + D = 810

    Divide both sides by 3 and you get 270 + D = 90

So we're gonna get a negative number for D. I vaguely remember it's okay to have negatives when talking about angles, but I can't remember if it means you go backwards, or if it affects it at all...

    ReplyDelete
  118. Don't we need another code about D? Now there are lots of solutions possible.

    ReplyDelete
  119. has to do with degrees I assume.

    ReplyDelete
  120. yes, they are angles, but you've got really complicated...besides, if you divide both sides by 3, D needs to be divided also.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I've gotta be doing my math wrong...

    ReplyDelete
  122. Um..u lost me DanManx! Think like a clock - 90 degrees is where 3 would be, 180 where 6 would be,270 where 9 goes, and increments of 30 between them. To get all the numbers to add up to 810, you know B & C have to be high, go from there

    ReplyDelete
  123. Okay, I'm no math whiz but isn't A written as equal to GREATER than 270 or did my eyes cross when I wrote that down?

    ReplyDelete
  124. Help with the dials anyone? :)

    ReplyDelete
  125. ok, here's a hint: D=180. This is now REALLY easy

    ReplyDelete
  126. whats highest you can go? 330 degrees, but you can't half that and get a number to put on the dials, so that can't be C, try next number down

    ReplyDelete
  127. the circle has 360 degrees. so it's half is 180

    ReplyDelete
  128. Alright, I must've messed up the order of operations. After what Tao said, it WAS really easy, and my numbers actually weren't that far off.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Tao, I got different answer for D, so must be different ways of setting dials, so long as it follows rules

    ReplyDelete
  130. OMG
    Finally escaped the dang thing
    :D

    ReplyDelete
  131. I'm out just by trial and error. Tried different combinations of the lock, using the code. But there has to be anonther hint i think about the D

    ReplyDelete
  132. Just say what time to put dials on and leave out the technical stuff. lol

    ReplyDelete
  133. Pinky4eva i think you can find other angles, but this is what i found...provided that they all follow the rules as you said, you can have different solutions

    ReplyDelete
  134. Justme, calculate: 3o'clock is 90 degrees, 6 o'clock is 180 degrees, 12 o'clock is 360 degrees...go for it:)

    ReplyDelete
  135. For anyone else needing dials:

    A = 9
    B = 4
    C = 8
    D = 6

    ReplyDelete
  136. Thanks everyone!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  137. i'm off adding more songs in blog
    bb all

    ReplyDelete
  138. Hi, folks! Do you mind if I stitch things together and write a walkthrough for this one? If no one is doing it already, of course...

    ReplyDelete
  139. @feline I just said bye in the other side. I tried this game but got stuck on the picture and was too tired to keep trying.
Please do the walkthrough. Be real clear on how to get the picture down.
    I'll try it later.
    Thanks for all your help.
    bye for now

    ReplyDelete
  140. @mishna, I went there and said goodbye, too. I'll try to write the walkthrough. :)

    ReplyDelete
  141. Yeap, @mishna, said goodbye to you there. :)

    ReplyDelete
  142. Ahh, good & fun game..Thanks for the post/hints everybody..Thanks Megipoland

    ReplyDelete
  143. out at last. thanks for the hints

    ReplyDelete
  144. Please, can someone explain what to do with the picture and the metal pole ? I can't find the code for the box in the cupboard (where do you see letters on it ???)

    ReplyDelete
  145. Mild Escape games are always so tedious, I don't know why I keep on playing them...

    ReplyDelete
  146. Pascale, are you here still?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Feline, I'm still here. Thanks to the hints given by more clever people, I've found the 4 buttons.
    I know that A+B+C+D=810, so 3B+D= 540.
The lamp shows me a 3 and a 4 on the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Oh, good. Keep trying! I'm working on the walkthrough. If you find some clue that leads to the correct values for B, C and D (other than guessing), please tell me so I can add it, OK?

    ReplyDelete
  149. I'm sorry, Feline, but for the moment, I can't find anymore clues.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I think that there could be a clue in the drawer under the bed. If I could open it...

    ReplyDelete
  151. You need the key from a hidden tile... Sigh! Hidden tile on checked wall... Try to shed some light from 2 sources on that wall and block the sun from window.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Hello everybody... I have a question about escapegames24, maybe a stupid question.
Where could we learn who send the game..
I often read thanks to somebody (Megi, Sunchun,...) but since the new look I don't find where it is written.

    ReplyDelete
  153. Hey... what a great power of posting... I'd just found it... under title of the game... Phew I'm clearly stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Hello, @gre-nadine!!! How are you?!

    ReplyDelete
  155. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Thanks a lot, Feline, your walkthrough was much more funny than the game !

    ReplyDelete
  157. Spoiler alert! Walkthrough!

Sooo, I see part of a bed and half a window? Who cut the window in half?! Well, no one. This is the hint to make us realize we're standing in a entrance hall or something. From here you can go forward (click upper part of screen) to what I'll call "main room". And you can return here too. Once this is made clear, let's proceed to actually playing, shall we?

    - Nothing clickable in this view, so let's role play Indiana Jones - explore! Turning around left 360 degrees, I see a wardrobe, an ornate door, a beach picture to the right of a plain wooden door and return to my strating position.
    - Escape players, let's open that wardrobe (you have tried it already, haven't you?). Going for the top doors! Ohhh... I see code typing ahead of me, already! Hummm... I can't open that right door... Let's try the bottom doors, then!
    - Left door has a hint! A=>270. A weird looking thingie inside right door! It looks like a clock... Notice the "looks like" part. Just looks like. It's some sort of dial.
    - This right top door thing is driving me nuts! There must be a way to open it! There must!!! How can I unlock it? Brute force? Nah... Let's try being more subtle. It must have something locking it, but I don't see anything on top of it, so... Looking under the whole wardrobe is not possible, but maybe inside and under?
    - Click inside the open right bottom door. Near the upper edge and right side of it. Mmmmm... Should I dare clicking that pin? Can I? Please, momma, let me! Yesss... Now let's see what I just did! Hoo-ray! Right top door opened!
    - Now I can see the kind of code trouble I got into! We still need a clue on what numbers we need here, but meanwhile, doesn't that clothes hanger pole look shiny? Take it! Also take a look beside the code box, to the right... A key! I'm thrilled and scared at the same time!
    - Moving on to next "cave", Indiana! That beach picture moves... Doesn't quite seem to fall, though... What am I doing wrong? Looking for more clues on this is necessary! Let's go to the main room, then!
    - A frigobar! Cool! Really, "cool", got it? Not funny, I know... If I drank, I could really use a beer! Well, it's a game, right, so I think I can do it! (And pay fake game for it in my fake hotel bill! Lol!) Dang! No beer, no drinks, just another hint!
    - OK, let's keep searching for the Graal, Indiana! The window opens up, but not enough to put my big head out and take a peep! We need to open it further more. Maybe it's time for our beloved screwdriver to show up?
    - Going right I see a checked wall (please, no more chess and keys in the same game!) and a green table with another hint. Hummm... Not yet... But there's a gap between the table and the wall, so why not checking it out? Click the gap!
    - Sooo... I see the sea, do you see it too? :) Doesn't that remind you of something? A beach picture, perhaps? Yes! Turning right is the fastest way to get you there, but while on the way, why not using your lovely key? Open those closed table drawers! (Yes, when you open one, you open all. For the same price.)
    - From bottom drawer you get a tape and a pencil. In middle drawer there's a box with coloured buttons. You can try to open it by random clicking, but I much prefer searching for the clues on how to, so let's leave it for now, OK? Open the top drawer.
    - Wow! Cool! A bunch of tools! All mine! Not quite... Moving tools? Argh! Never saw this before! Our beloved screwdriver is here, so try to get it before getting dizzy! There's also a shiny green thing hidden amongst all these non-getable tools. Cycle them around to find a new key (I'm already desperate for the increase in the number of keys... Still traumatized...)
    - Hummm... This new key doesn't open the bed drawer, so let's get back to using our SEA hint, OK? You remember the numbers, don't you? So try clicking the corners of the picture in that order, then click the sea...
    - Great! Stealing a picture is better than stealing the hotel robes! Argh! A place to use my dial is great, but now I know I need 4 of them! Grrr... Meanwhile, let's take a better look at that picture to see how much we'll get for it in the black market!
    - About item screen on picture. It's really annoying to turn it around. The correct spot is so hard to find! I just clicked it like mad around the right side and it turned. Maybe someone else can find the right pixel... After it turned, you'll see it's screwed, so...
    - Use your screwdriver on the screws! (Either one will do.) After you unscrew it, click two more times (you'll remove it from frame and then get a thick paper). Try writing on the thick paper if you're strong hearted! OK, so now where do I use my green key on? It didn't open that bed drawer...
    - Have you noticed there are two doors here? No luck using it on ornate door, but on wooden one... Yes!!! A bathroom! Can I take a shower? Please? I've cold sweated all over because of Key Room Escape trauma! No? Snif... Don't complain about the smell then!
    - At least I'll wash my hands! Good, the tap works! Ooops! I droped my thick paper in the water! Dang! Now it's all wet! I'll keep it nonetheless. And there's another hint under the sink. OK, back to using your screwdriver to open up that window!
    - With the window closed, use screwdriver on the screw on window-sill. Open the window and take a look outside (click near the bottom of outside landscape). Hummm... Another dial! So far below... Maybe I need something long and sticky to get it?
    - Add your tape to your pole and use it to get that dial! Click it to separate the dial from the pole after you get it. Also notice the date on the hotel wall. Any place to use a four digit number? Oh, yes! Wardrobe!
    - Yes, try using 1963. No good? Mmm... I'm desperate, so I'l try some other numbers or just random things! Uh... There's something else beside numbers on those slots... "SINCE+ECNIS="... The hotel is here "since 1963". ECNIS is SINCE backwards! So... 1963+3691=?
    - Code is...? Come on, folks! OK, I give up... It's 5654. Happy now? Click the newly opened safe top and get a new dial! OK, so now we need one more dial (and letter clues solving, but one thing at a time!). Back to main room.
    - What about that cheked wall and the hint on table? We need to shed some light on this subject! Literally. Maybe that lamp will do the job? Try turning it on, then moving it. Hummm... I see the light on the wall, but... What if we shed more light on it? Click the switch above table drawers. Oh, now I see two numbers? But on table there are five!
    - Now let's make this light shine more brightly! There's too much interference from the sun! Board up that window! Use your wet thick paper on it! Shine, little light of mine! I'm going to let it shine! Ah! Now my light is bright enough!
    - Follow table hint and click numbers in that order, will you? 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, then 5. Wow! A key hidden in a secret panel on a checked tile! AHHH!!!(Nooooo! I'm still too traumatized!) *Seizures!* *Cries!* *Thumbles back and forth!* *Bangs head on wall!* Snif, snif... Psychiatrist needed...
    - OK, *snif*, now we have a new k... k... k... You know what we have! Don't make me say it! It's blue! And it opens the only lock left to be open, so turn to face bed and drop the subject, will you? From bed drawer you'll get an ID. OK, but we still need one dial for that board. The only thing left behind unsolved is...
    - Open table middle drawer to face Wendy! She is big, she is huge, she is a coloured buttons box! *Snif, snif...* Coloured buttons... *Sigh!* What could be used here as a clue? 5 letters, 6 buttons... Hummm... Not all colours are used, then? OK! Wendy stands for...?
    - No colour starts with W on this box. Or with E. Or with N... Or D... Only with Y we have Yellow, but... What about the other colours? Remember how we had to add SINCE and ECNIS? Maybe it's the other way around here too? Try finding the colours that END with WENDY letters! I'm not telling you! I had my share of coloured buttons this week, so figure it out!
    - Open the box and get the last dial! Yes! Now I can go place them on that board and start cracking my mind to work out the values for A, B, C, and D from given hints! The > symbol stands for... an angle!
    - A+B+C+D=>810. And A=270. And Bx2=C. So A is known and 2B=C, so B+C=B+2B. 270+3B+D=810, so 3B+D=540 (D=540-3B). An angle cannot be over 330 (360 would be the same as 0), and according to dials the minimum is 30, so 540-3B (D value) has to equal at most 330. If we consider that, then at most 540-3B=330, then 3B=210, then at least B=70 (can be more if D is less than 330). But angles need to be in multiples of 30, so B needs to be more than 70 (cannot be less).
    - OK, since I haven't found any other clues to lead me to the correct values of B, C and D, I used all my maths to reduce the number of try-outs on this clock resembling dials! (Brrr... Calmants needed!) You can replace letters in other ways to help you even more. Anyway...
    - In case you are also traumatized by key room escape and want OUT of this place full of familiar-looking objects, values are: A=270, B=120, C=240 and D=180. Turn dials to proper angles, use your ID on the left slit, press the rectangular button and grab the k... k... k... You know what it is! It's golden and fits that ornate door that leads to freedom, so use it!
    Click outside! Go! Shoo! Out!
Congratulations! Now off to my straight-jacket...

Have I told you already how freaky a person I am? Not a fan of chocolate! Or any sweets. I much prefer broccoli! Or cauliflower! Yummy! Oh, so love cauliflower! But the best one, IHMO, is cucumber!
I'm the exception to the rule, lol! (Good for me!)
