when you have the mortar & pestle you use it on leaf and it gives code black-white-white-black-white

I have got the code on the vine leaf, how are we supposed to use it ? It looks a little like a part of a piano.
Use bianary for the code. 0 and 1's

If black is 0 and white is 1, 01101 -> 13
If black is 1 and white is 0, 10010 -> 18
None of these 2 codes is the right one.
Thank you for the tips everyone. I would have never thought of using my sword on the door knob.
