I got a telescope but haven't found where to use it yet. Cloth combines with stick but can't set it on fire.

I managed to light stick with cloth when I opened up paper to look at its flip side... weird! But it is not a secret ink paper, won't reveal any writing with heating. :(
found it already, now i have torch, a star (used in box) and looking for other signs

that 10 point star on the box is not lit. 5 point star and the creasant are
all the shape go in the box where you have to enter the star-shape first

ff, click bottom arrow, if you turn back to previos spot, go back to bridge, click upper arrow and than bottom arrow ;)

OK now I am stuck... I am in cave, have explored all rooms and only found one which needs a half moon shape but there is no wood anywhere that I can chop into shape with my axe and nothing to pick up. I have stood my compass on the table at the entrance and not sure what to do next. Any hints?
I am stuck in the cave, with all the torches lit. Anyone have any clues as to what we are suppose to do with the shapes on the cave walls?
Put the compass on the rock and use telescope on it. You see symbols. After you look in all the caves you will have seen 3 symbols. Go back to the rock, use the telescope again and move the 3 liens of symbols until you see the 3 you saw in the caves in the middle. Star, circle, crescent.

the telescope is used in the cave to solve another puzzle... u will get a key and a medicine. i did not find out where to use them...

Tania if you mean the shapes where you view the compass through the telescope, then the middle line, from top to bottom should be, star, cresent, circle. Hope that helps.

u have to put th compas at the pedestal where u initially get into th cave. go tru th labyrinth and after u explore all the areas, use th scope on th pedestal and crack the code

hmm, i'm stuck looking for the ten point star. the moon was in a zoomed in view of the bushes right when you get off of the bridge and the star was in the bushes next to the altar...
I have the key and the potion. I have found a cave door in the cave (left/forward/left) from the pedestal, but I can't see a way of opening it yet
I am running out of time, the pirates are going to get me again, and I still cant seem to find a place for a key or potion. I keep looking at the cave room that has rocks at the end, and maybe a doorway, but nothing works.

@hil did you burn the bridge? if you didn't you will still have it. burning the bridge turns off the clock and stops the pirates so we can sit in this cave for eternity.

I skipped the intro.
-Click on boat. Pick up compass, paper.
-Click the small grey arrow at the bottom of screen to return to previous screen...Henceforth, this step will be refered to as [RETURN].
-Click brown arrow pointing Right.
-Click black line near second hanging vine from left. It is a rope. Click to pick it up. [RETURN].
-LEFT arrow. Second tree from right. Click to select axe behind middle tree. [RETURN].
- Brown arrow.
-Right brown arrow.
-Leftmost pile of 5 stones. Click water bag. Small matchbox appears on it. Click matchbox to collect.[RETURN].
- Click matchbox in inventory. It opens. Select a match. strike it to side of box. It lights up and goes back to inventory.
-Brown arrow.
- Click roundish rock in centre(screen with 3 brown arrows).
-Click small grey arrow pointing to the top at top of screen.
-Click and drag rope from inventory over broken branch of tree. It will loopitself around.
-Click hollow of tree around the bottom part of tree.
It will reveal a grey-black design in the hollow.
-Use axe from inventory over it.
-Click twice to leave forest and enter new surroundings. Click Right Brown arrow.
-On bridge- Click UP arrow once, then DOWN arrow. Enter new surroundings.

- Right Brown arrow. Cave door. Pick up multipoint star from right.[RETURN].

-Click stone in center of altar. Place star. Click on right bottom of stone to change figure. Place moon shape. Click right bottom. Place multipoint star. Pickup telescope revealed at top of stone.[RETURN].

-In inventory, place cloth over stick. It will make a torch. Place lit match over torch. Torch gets lit.
-Click map in inventory. Click top-right of map in expanded view. Pick up telescope and view map(place on map). It will reveal a sequence of shapes-star,moon,circle,square,triangle. Click X at top right.
-Cave door. Starting on left side, click star, then circle. They will exchange positions. Repeat with other shapes till you match sequence revealed in map. Repeat for right side. Cave door opens.

Text Walkthrough - Part 1:
1. Click the brown boat and get the compass and the map!
2. Go once to right, and then left. You'll come to a place with many trees. Click the tree behind the two trees that are near to you. It will zoom in, and you'll see an axe, TAKE IT!
3. Go back to where there are 3 arrows. Click the right one this time! Now, you are near the ocean, and there is only ONE tree near you, click the top of it! You'll see a red water bag, click it and get the matches. Open the match and light one stick!
4. Go back to the 3-arrow screen and click the rope behind the trees. It will zoom in! Take the rope and point your mouse UP. You'll then see an arrow pointing up, click it!
5. Take the rope and release it on the first stick of the tree. When the rope is attached to the tree, click it to climb up! Use axe on the tree next to you!
6. Go through the hole and click the right arrow. Now you're on a bridge, so listen carefully! Click the forward arrow once, then burn down the bridge by releasing the match on it. Click the arrow pointing backwards, and note that the timer on top-left screen has now disappeared, that means the pirates can no longer catch you. But you still have to escape!
7. 3 arrows here too. There is a cloth near the up/forward arrow, take it! Click the bush, left to the up/forward arrow and get a moon-shape!
8. Click the arrow pointing right and click the cave door. You'll see a code! There is a star with 10 edges, take it!
9. Go back to the 3-arrow screen and click the up/forward arrow. Click the bush, left to where the box is. Click the bush nearest to you of the two bushes left to the box! Get a star-shape.

Text Walkthrough - Part 2:
10. There are 2 trees very close to you, click the 2nd bush, the one behind the closest to you. You'll find a stick, take it!
11. Combine these items: Cloth+Stick+Match = Torch
12. Now, click the box! There is a star-shape on the box, that means you have to insert the star-shape you have on the box. You'll see you white rectangles on each side of the box, they are to toggle between shapes. The next shape is the moon, so insert the moon-shape you've got. And at last, insert the star-shape with 10 edges! Get a telescope!
13. Go back to the 3-arrow screen, and go right. Click the door to see the puzzle. Now, click the map and click the side of it to turn it around. Use the telescope on it to reveal the answer for the puzzle! Click between 2 shapes to change their place, so do it like this:
Both Sides must have the same order, and here is the code:
Star
Moon
Circle
Square
Triangle
The cave door will open, get inside!
14. You're in the cave now, and remember: In order to click object and go to another room, you must light the torches in each room you visit! Not that you have to light every torch in every single room, just those you are in!
Light the torch, I am only gonna say this once, so remember it by yourself! Click the "thing" in front of you and place the compass on it. Then, use the telescope to reveal a code. The answer to the code is in the rooms. If you explore every room, you'll find 3 shapes: Star, Moon, Circle. So click the the three pieces until the three shapes in the middle are: Star, Moon, Cirlce - from up to down. If you still don't know how to do it, then do it in this order:
Make sure you haven't touched anthing yet:
First Piece: Click 1 Time
Second Piece: Click 2 Times
Third Piece: Click 3 Times
15. Take the Potion/Medicine and the key. Keep in mind that you aren't going to use the medicine, it is useless for YOU, but not for the escaper! From the start of the cave, go through the rooms in this order:
1. Right
2. Right
3. Left
4. Right
5. Middle
When you see the torch in that room, click the end of it's stick to zoom in and reveal a key-hole!
16. Insert the key and let a wheel come out. Zoom out and click the wheel to zoom in. Click the wheel again to spin it. Now, the door out of the cave is opened, so go back to the start of the cave where you got the key and follow this:
1. Left
2. Middle
3. Left
You'll see an opening, go through it!
17. Nope, you haven't still escaped so, use the axe on the first stick/bamboo and watch a floating boat be built!
CONGRATULATIONS! You'v escaped!
