hi all...have an eraser (used) and two papers with hints that make no sense at all...and stuck
I don't have any ideas for the code either.

Wants four digits. In VOLUME are Roman letters: M=1000, L=50, V=5. But that doesn't seem to work.

How did you come to four digits? U can put so many in it, even letters..
If you write letters it asks for four digits. I give up.

hi all, got 3 papers (under shelf, bottom left corner of world map and behind note beside door9 and eraser, dont get how to work out the code... missing 2. item of inventory
Still here. There are 84 books. I tried all numbers from 00 to 99 before 84. No success.
used eraser on the first paper and stuck
4 papers ("one" on first paper), a T near a bookshelf, a F on the corner of the map... Events mixed up...
3. note. March 20 1912: its the date of proclamation the republic of china
2nd note, left side where the two shelfs with white books are, behind the shelf. Why these japanese codethings are always such a mystery? :D and i have to even translate english too haha :D
oh sorry, thsi is chinese.. haha
i think the english translations are so bad that the hints dont make any sense.
and how about the paper near the door? hmmm

OMG - I see what you mean guys - I looked on a turkish walkthrough to see if there were any hints (translation was awful) but I saw something about another piece of paper behind the white books - left of the left?? Im guessing that means left hand side of the left bookshelf. Anyone found anything there?? x x x

wish people wouldn't say "first" it's so silly to say it and pointless.
I've always wondered why they say "first" too. It's like little boys in school!
Or when they say "got knife" but nothing else.......just a little hint would be helpful.

The left bookshelf with the white books moves when you click the top, that's when the note appears.

The answers of notes (1,2,3,4 from top in the inventory):see #34. and there is a letter/word where you found the note.
Q1=one, Q2=T(three), Q3=F(four), Q4=two.
Each name contains chinese pronunciation of numbers. see #51.
theres a paper on the floor when you start, one by the door (zoom in on the password thing), one under the bottum left corner of the map (click south america to zoom), then theres the eraser on the floor, theres another paper behind the left bookshelf (click the top right corner to move it). code is 6235
Make sure to use the eraser on the first paper first
