there are 3 in front of news onecent so there would be something between ww and the n... would trial and error on the box as maybe a code but having experience of these games it gives you something for any code ... only gives you the right thing for the right code
An extra dash, I mean. 3 dashes before NEW and WW are only 2 letters...

I hate to be dense, but what dot? My magifiying glass does nothing on the yellow pole stare dot. No way I can keep up with you. I wish you all were in charge of finding solutions to our global problems. Probably take you about a week before there was world peace. :)

The number you saw with the magnifying glass is important.
Zazie is correct you enter it in the pink box after youve gotten the card from the buttons

You start with the button in the screen left of the star screen (West, click 3 times), then the button below star once (North), then go to the screen right of the star (East, click once)go back to the screen left from star (West, click once), from the star go right twice (South, two clicks), back to star (click once) and at last the screen to the right of star (East, click once)

OK never could find screwdriver. I click all over right side of couch never could get a different view..
Olympic circles clue was on the screen with the polar star at the bottom on the brown part.
chris.. zoom in to where you found the wrench...then click on the right side of screen to get other view
first click on view where you got the wrench Chris and then click right of the same view. It should take you to another view where the screwdriver is.

this game is ridiculous! i'm out, but the button directions made no sense. i got n, e & w, but why was south where the pink box was?
the panel on the wall will open and the key card is behind it.

Click left of the blue sofa to find wrench/spanner. While in this zoomed in view go right to find a screwdriver. Turn to the clock and click the pendulum. It moves to reveal a magnifying glass.
The next thing you must do is start collecting all the letters that will give you the final code. These are found in the following places
1) On the back of the black computer chair > WW
2) On the blue carpet (x2) the right square moves >
------SS and then the top left corner of the carpet folds down > --------NE (E is very small on the end)
3) On clock face (left of where hands meet) > ---NEW
4) Inside the White box >--W (Cant get straight away)
Go to the large frame on the wall - Where Red Keyhole is
Use the spanner to remove the bolts on the top corners and the screwdrivers to remove the screws in the bottom corners. The panel will disappear to reveal the pole star. This is a clue it means North star indicating this wall is north facing. If you click on the bottom right edge of the frame you will see 5circles - this is the logo for the olympics. olympic (no CAPS) is the code word for the white box. Type this in and receive a red Key, the last lot of letters and a clue word LONDON (followed by a 1 if you magnify in on the fullstop! Take the key and use on the red keyhole this reveals another strange button on the wall. You will now notice there is one of these on each wall - They are buttons which correspond to that code of letters you have. When you put the code together - matter of illimination - WW is first as no dashes before it etc
Cose is WWWNEWSSNE - This means North West South East. The buttons on the wall must be pressed in order of the code.
Wall with pole star = North
Wall with Clock = East
Wall with Couch = West
Wall with Desk = South
Once you have done this (probably a few times before you get it) That rectangle on the wall in blue couch scene will open to reveal a keycard. Take this and go to the pink box on the desk. Use the key card and swipe it on the blue device. Reveals keypad - I entered 2012 (which is the date of next the LONDON Olympics but some people have mentioned that 1908 works - date of first London olympics. Get blue Key. Use blue key on door and your out!!

man this one was ridiculously hard i was getting really angry with those stupid buttons :@ (i was even trying the code after spoiling it and it was STILL failing GRRR there ought to have been a reset button instead of me having to view the box to reset it).
i could not find out where the NE was, so i never got to finish the code. so i got a good end by reading all the hints here. :/
i lost my patience completely with this one. STILL never found out where the last 2 directions were hidden -_-
also i would not have been able to find out the good end without spoiling it here, thanks to the people who posted the answer is 1908 i surely would have tried 2010 1st too but after the buttons made me mad i didnt wanna have to do it over again. this was probably the 2nd hardest installment in the series, after the very 1st one. argh im taking a break having completed 1-10f now, theyre getting too hard for me! i hope 11f is easier :/
