Just us is it? Found a couple of clues, opened a few doors, not much else.
Ok, got a clue in chinese(?) and a code for numbers/symbols, which solves it. Found a black key I can't reach, a jammed door, and that's it. Anyone?
Oh goody, I love Selfdefiant games! So far, all I have found is a red key that goes into a red keyhole
not getting very far in this one, but i am enjoying the whip!
You can use the whip on the key that is on the lantern that is too high to reach
Now I'm getting somewhere. Got black key, sword, opened a couple more doors.
got the wind element stone but not sure where to use it...need to empty hot pool but not sure how

has anyone figured out how to remove the water? i found a clue on the wall in the room before that. but can't figure out what it means?
Emptied hot water....there is a switch above the pool....hmm.....getting somewhere now

You can drain the water by clicking a panel on the wall behind the pool. It will reveal a knob.
Also - in the blank scroll, click the bottom left corner - there is a hidden tile.

On the side of the staircase are a few drawers. One of them "almost open", while another does open and has something inside.
How did you get the water stone from the blank scroll?

To access the third tile, click on the bottom drawer of the staircase -- place yingyang in there. Then click top left drawer.
And out...once you solve the table puzzle you can go to next room and get YinYang stone...from there go to small drawer at stair and place the stone.....and click top drawer to get last stone....should be easy from there...

Can't find black key for the life of me, I've checked every lantern.
Please, some help for slider puzzle on table - I am hopeless at them. Do you have to get arrows pointing at tile with four arrows on? How?
Oh haha, relief - not a dreaded slider puzzle at all! Just had to make the four-pointed tile drop down one to reveal the stone.
Guys, how to solve the puzzle with the red dots from 1 to 10?

Can someone please explain where to get the black key? None of the lanterns seems to have a key, no matter which side I approach them.

you get there by turning right from the start.
sometimes the door is shut, you have to slide it open.
OK, solved the red dot puzzle by myself.
Should have made the link between the 2 notes earlier.

Nice game but navigation sucks! I think the developer should include a compass so we can understand which way we are truly facing. I spent ages going round in circles trying to find the staircase again! But out now, so relieved but in dire need of a mental rest.
Tania, personally i think the map is good enough for navigation. I don't have any problems with that.
I had my map viewed in the bottom left corner the whole game.
About the game, im stuck. Have only 3 stone tiles (fire, wind and water). I think i need a fourth, there is something in the stairs(?) with ying jang sign on it, but don't know what to do with it...

I'm stuck :( i have the red key used, seen the code which should mean 269 but nowhere to use it and so far nothing else. what to do now?
ok now i can go everywhere in te first area, have a sword but now what? where to use the sword?

Where is the wind card?
ok, I have used red key and black key and got 2 notes. How do I open the door which tells me to open from other side? I went around there but couldn't open it as it says it has no key hole.
Also there is a door which is jammed (by the stone with a slot). How do I unjam it?

Walkthrough:
**Note: Some sliding doors in rooms are already opened. I wrote walkthrough assuming that the doors would be closed for you.**
**PART 1**
1. Go straight through arches to next room.
2. In next room, turn left.
3. Click scroll on table, then in zoom view, click scroll to open it, revealing that it is blank. Click on bottom left corner of blank scroll to reveal the Water Element Stone. Close zoom view and go forward into next room.
4. Observe door on right wall requires the Black Key that you do not have yet.
5. Click the back button once to re-enter previous room. A clue has appeared in the black cabinet on left in red letters. Click on the clue to record it to your notepad.
6. Close zoom view then press the forward button twice to enter room with a bonzai tree. Click forward once more to enter room with locked door on left requiring Red Key.
7. Click back button once to return to bonzai tree room and find Red Key behind bonzai tree. Pick it up and click back button to return to Red Key room.
8. Use Red Key on door on left, and then go left into next room.
9. Open scroll on table to reveal symbol clue. This records to your notepad.
10. Go forward once into room with gong. Click farthest panel on left wall to open door. Go left into next room.
11. Enter aquarium room, then click forward once more to enter room with black stone on right bordered by flowers. Keep note of this room, as you will be coming back to this room later.
12. Go forward one more time into room full of lamps. Lamp in middle of room has Black Key that can't be reached. Equip your whip and use to get key from the lamp.
13. Put key and whip away, then hit back once, forward twice, right once, forward once, right once, then forward three times to return to room with teapot and door on right. Use Black Key on door, then go right into next room.
14. In next room, click on banner on far left wall to open puzzle. Puzzle has ten tiles with red dots, numbering from 1 to 10. Open your notepad. The two clues you got in other rooms will help here. The three symbols correlate to numbers of dots on the next clue page. When you solve the code, press the correct tiles on the puzzle to open the next door. SPOILER: 269 :SPOILER
15. Foward into next room. Retreive sword from front wall to you inventory, then click far panel on right wall to open door. Go right into next room.
16. Foward once through room back to room with black stone. Get sword from inventory and put into stone, which opens a door on the right. Go right into room with staircase.
17. Before going upstairs, click the panels of staircase to see that drawers are jammed. The small panel on second step of stairs opens to show a yin-yang ball on the right and empty spot on left. Note this as you will be coming back here.
Walkthrough:
**PART 2**
18. Go upstairs into bonzai tree room and click left panel of front wall to open door. Go through to next room.
19. Click far panels on both left and right walls to open doors. Go left into room with Japanese rock garden box on left. Click on the garden box.
20. Ignore the rake and three black rocks in the garden. There is a shaded circular area just right of center in the garden. Click the center of this shaded area five times to reveal the Wind Element stone. Retrieve stone, close zoom view, click far panel on right wall to open door, and go right into next room.
21. Note door on left of front wall requires Gold Key and is locked. Click back once, left once back to room with large empty pot and two lamps on left. **Sometimes the door ahead is closed, sometimes not. If it is closed, click the left panel of front wall to open and go foward once into room with table and two beds.**
22. Click banner on right wall. This is a clue for an upcoming slide puzzle.
23. Click far panel on left wall to open door, and go left into room with pool on right.
24. Click pool to see key in the water, but water is too hot to get key, so you need to drain the pool. Close the zoom view, then click the fourth panel from the left on the bottom of the right wall (the panel is above the pool). The panel opens to reveal a knob. Click knob to drain the pool.
25. Click on pool again and retrieve Gold Key.
26. Close zoom view and click back once, right once, foward once, and right once to return to room with locked door. Use Gold Key on door and go forward into next room with slide puzzle table.
27. Slide puzzle: Review the puzzle clue you got in the other room. The clue shows the position the tiles need to be in to solve the puzzle. The puzzle is easy to solve, as the tiles can only move either up/down, or left/right. SPOILER: To solve puzzle, move the leftmost tile on the bottom row to left, move second tile from left on second row down, move left tile on top row down, move remaining two tiles on top row all the way to the left, move last tile on second row up, move last tile on bottom row up, and finally move the third tile on bottom row to right, and the puzzle is solved, revealing the Fire Element stone. :SPOILER
28. Close puzzle zoom view, click far panel on right wall to open door, and go right into room with black cabinet on left. Ignore cabinet for now.
29. Click left panel of front wall to go forward into another room with a table and two beds. Retrieve yin-yang from floor next to left bed, then click banner above right bed for clue. Click far panel on right wall to open door, and go right back into pool room. (pool is now on left of screen)
30. From pool room, go forward once, right once, and left once. You are now at the staircase. Click the arrow above the stairs to go back downstairs. Once downstairs, press the back button to look back at the stairs and drawers.
31. Open the small drawer (on second step from bottom). Select yin-yang and place in drawer. Close zoom view and then click second drawer from top of stairs to reveal Earth Element stone.
32. Get stone, close zoom view, go upstairs, forward once, left once, right once, forward once, and right once back to room with black cabinet. Click black cabinet to see four empty squares. Open notepad and go to clue that shows the symbols of the element stones. The symbols are arranged in the places they need to be set in the cabinet.
33. Place stones in cabinet in their correct order. SPOILER: Water at top, Wind left, Fire bottom, Earth right :SPOILER
34. A door will open on the right. Go into Scroll Room. Click the large scroll at the top of the front wall and YOU ARE OUT!!

Kitkatfox, the map is what threw me off the whole time. It showed where you were at, but the direction you were pointed was not correct half the time, so I ended up just using my own mental navigation skills and used the props in each room as markers to orient myself so I knew where I was at.
Neat game, though.
