I realize this is a day late, so I'll check back to see if anyone comments. I can't get #5 for anything. The walkthrough makes no sense to me. First it says to take note of the shape of the dial on the left, and that it changes. Every time I've gone into the game, the dial is a circle, and the little part is a circle. What other shape are they talking about?
Next, it says to rotate the dial to reveal more of the shape, to 3 clicks. Well, which is it, 3 clicks or a rotation (which is 360 degrees)? It says to do this to unlock the sliding pieces on the right, but I can move those without ever touching the dial. I can create a gap between the top and bottom pieces, but that doesn't appear to do anything.
Help!!

There are three symbols, open circle, filled circle, and half filled. Which you will have is random. Can't say why you are always getting the same one.
Yes, you CAN move the sliders at the start. But if you look closely, you should see a feint line in the center of each one. The objective is to unlock them so that you can move the top half up and the bottom half down.
Make note of the symbol that you start on. Turn it three counter-clockwise. Since there are three symbols, and they repeat, when you stop you see the same symbol that you started on. This helps you keep your place.
Now, move the first slider up by grabbing the dark square at the top. The entire slider will still move just as it did before, but now if you grab the light square at the bottom you should be able to slide just the bottom half down.
Turn 3 more counter-clockwise. Open the next slider.
Repeat until all are open.
Now now grab the exposed area in the center and slide the right half of the box to the right, and slide the left half to the left.
Left me know if this doesn't clear it up.
