why the wheel is spinning?
i found totally 12/14 wheels from the cars and the stickers on the wine
what is going on with the back of the cupboard with 8 subjects?
and
y wheels?
thank you =]

just the clue said so.
original clues as follows. you can use online translator.

I
チェスは「戦術」と
「戦略」により
導き出された最善の手を
積み重ねて、勝利を得る。

II
世間の目に触れない文字
こそが真実。

III
在りし日を思い、
運命の輪は回る。
1回、2回、4回、8回と・・・

You have to figure out the relations between squares and wheels.

where can find the clue? @@

This comment has been removed by the author.

use the flashlight in the 3 feather safe.

only "1(wheel),2(wheels),4(wheels),8(wheels)" is important in the clue III.

This comment has been removed by the author.

8 squares represent the position of 8 objects in the cupboard.

SPOILER
hey
i solved the back of the cupboard
but i cant still open the safe
I.185/211 (both tried)
II.682
III.144

@Y.U.E.N. thanx...think I will try to finish the Living Room first...and not restart again...

and haven't any clue as to what I am doing there! ;)

is the phone dial a wheel?

@ MotherHoose
the phone dial is not the wheel :D
the wheel clue works only in the cupboard with 8 subjects

@Xenon
yea i know the position thing
but just miss the flashlight in the 3 feather safe
and now solved thank you very much =]
however i stil cant open the safe =[
what's wrong with my number in my previous post=[?

@Y.U.E.N
Just sum up numbers of duplicate positions carefully.

This comment has been removed by the author.

@Xenon
not version 1 : 31+65+40+49 = 185 ?
or version 2 : 185 + 26 = 211?

Maybe, you misunderstood the clue.
Ignore king,queen,general(bishop) thing.
You already know for what king, queen, general are.
Use only strategy, tactics and numbers grid note.

yea i ignore it
i just add up the duplicate positions
there are totally 4 places right? = 185
if blank places count ,then +26 = 211
am i missing anything?

@Xenon @Y.U.E.N
wher is the 3rd feather?

5 gestures on the pen = which 5 numbers?
haven't got what the gestures mean..cannot solve the red box code..help:(

Thanx @Xenon for posting something I could copy/paste

translations

I
Chess is a "tactical" and "strategy" is derived by accumulating the best hand, get the victory.

II
Only touch the true character of the public.

III
Feeling the past days, wheel of fortune turns. Once, twice, four times, eight times ・ ・ ・

and I must say that they look prettier in Japanese script and make about as much sense! nothing like an idiom to prove me idiotic!

though II might sequentially lead to 16 times.

CLOCK ROOM - WALKTHROUGH

- Start by going left. Open the two upper drawers on cabinet to take the sandglass and the pocket watch.

- In [About Item] view, click on the upper part of the SANDGLASS to turn it over; close that view only to open it once again; the sand has let visible some writing about using Hawaii-Alaska-Australia on the digital clock.

- Look at those 3 clocks above the cabinet and connect the minute-hand to the hour-hand in each and all of them to make a path going left to right. Notice that Australia is mirrored, so you have to keep this in mind when drawing/picturing the path. Go right.

- Click on the digital clock and press the buttons, starting with the red one, with the clocks path. If done correctly, take the clock tower and the pigeon tile; zoom out and go left. See the solution at the end of the walktrhough

- Zoom on the picture of the clock tower and look at the time in it. Open YOUR clock tower in [About Item] view, zoom in the lower part of it and turn the dials to set the time according to the one in the picture. If done correctly, the tower will open; take the weight; zoom out twice. See the solution at the end of the walktrhough

- Zoom on the right side of the cabinet to get the RED HAND and to read another hint saying a pigeon will coo at 9:15 (and I'm using the time it should say, not the one it actually says according to Xenon); zoom out and go left.

- Zoom on the coo coo clock and remember the time on it (3:35.40). Click on the right side of it to go to a different view, where you have to place the PIGEON TILE on the slot to be able to press the buttons. Each button affects the clock hands, so press the necessary ones to set the time at 9:15, according to the cabinet clue. Once done, the clock will open and give you a key; take it, zoom out and go right. See the solution at the end of the walktrhough

- Use your key on the lower right doors in cabinet and click on the projector, which is now above the cabinet and... projecting, of course. Go left.

- Look at the time being projected on the wall and write it down... you'll need this for later. Go back to the right.

- Zoom in the upper part of cabinet and click on the projector to have a rear view of it. Click on the green button to change the slide; zoom back twice and go left.

CLOCK ROOM - WALKTHROUGH (Continued)

- Zoom in the new projection shown on wall that reads: "Old clock is ticking time that is not used by other clocks." "Fairies are looking for cat, frog and pigeon." "Aug 12th, frogs croak." Before zooming out, click twice on the little circle on the right of the projection and once again to get the BLUE HAND; zoom out and go left.

- Zoom at the very bottom of the Old Clock and take the battery; zoom out.

- Open the pocket watch in [About Item] view; click on the chain to remove it from the watch. Now use the [About Item] view with the weight in your inventory and combine the chain with it.

- Zoom in the Cat Clock and attach the chain/weight on the lower ring; Cat Clock solved... you can now zoom out and go left.

- Zoom on the Frogs Clock and remember the hint from the projection "Aug 12th, frogs croak." Just set the time at 8:12. Zoom out.

- Zoom in the left clock and click on the lower part of it to turn it around. Put the battery on the clock and zoom out. Now you can see the Fairies Clock with the three hands on it.
NOTE: If placing the battery was one of the first things being done, you'd been able to see the 3 hands appearing one at the time after solving the Pigeon (coo coo), Cat and Frogs clock.
Notice that, for the Final Old Clock puzzle, hour-hand (short) is red, minute-hand (middle) is blue and second hand (large) is black. Zoom out and go left.

- Now you can open the lower left doors on cabinet and take the BLACK HAND. Zoom out and go left twice.

- At the Grandfather (Old) Clock, you must place the red, blue and black hands on the clock face in an hour never shown before around the room. That is, looking at the times in all of the clocks and do not repeat any hour, minute or second for this final clock. Red hour-hand must remain as it is; open the blue minute-hand in [About Item] view and click on it once to give it a medium size; open the black second-hand in [About Item] view and click on it twice to give it a large size. Also, you have to click on the circle that is on the upper right corner of the clock face to make the hands move around. If done correctly, you'll get the door key to leave this room.

CLOCK ROOM - SOLUTIONS

DIGITAL CLOCK SOLUTION
Click here to see a visual solution of this puzzle

CLOCK TOWER SOLUTION
You need to set the time in your clock tower in inventory as the one in the tower picture (6:35.55)
Left dial moves the hour-hand; click on it 6 times.
Middle dial moves the minute-hand; click on it 7 times.
Right dial moves the second-hand; click on it 11 times.

PIGEON (COO COO) CLOCK SOLUTION
Ignoring the second-hand, the buttons affect the clock as follow:
Button #1 +3 hours / -10 minutes
Button #2 +1 hour / no change in minutes
Button #3 +2 hours / no change in minutes
Button #4 +2 hours / -10 minutes
This way, if the idea is to set this clock at 9:15 (from 3:35) then pressing buttons 1 and 4 are a MUST in order to set the minutes; our clock now says 8:15. Press button 2 to set the hour-hand correctly. Coo coo clock is then crack-opened by pressing 1-2-4 buttons.

GRANDFATHER (OLD) CLOCK SOLUTION
You need to place the 3 hands on the clock in a position never used before by any of the 11 clocks around the room (this includes the pocket watch in inventory). These are:
HOUR MINS SECS
05 : 20 . 45 - Frogs*
11 : 05 . 40 - Digital
12 : 00 . 25 - Cat
09 : 15 . 50 - Pigeon
07 : 10 . 05 - Projector
06 : 35 . 55 - Tower
02 : 45 . 20 - Hawaii**
03 : 50 . 00 - Alaska**
10 : 30 . 15 - Australia**
04 : 25 . 30 - Fairies
01 : 40 . 35 - Pocket watch***
_____________
08 : 55 . 10 - Old Clock

Notes:
* Due to a mistake by the author of the game, you have to swap the hour-hand and the minute-hand.
** For these 3 clocks, you need to see the time ZOOMING IN.
*** If you open the pocket watch in [About Item] you'll get a wrong (different) time. It's a little hard to see the time in inventory, but it's the way it must be seen.

In order to set this time (8:55.10), the faster and easier way is by placing blue hand first and moving it at 2; place then the red hand and click on the circle 6 times; finally place the black hand and move it twice.

Infinite thanks to @Xenon.

Oh that is gorgeous @Edgar! just gorgeous!

now please fix the living room...I can't find the 3rd feather!

CLOCK ROOM - WALKTHROUGH (Omission)

When looking at the Grandfather's clock face, click on the lower right circle to open a secret compartment and to get the wrist watch, KEYITEM of this room.

Very sorry for not including this information before.

@MotherHoose
I'm on my way! Slowly and almost with no time at all to play due to work and home duties but doing my best anyway.

@NatureX,@MotherHoose

@Edgar, great wt, as usual:)

@NatureX
read the newspaper on the desk then u wil know the 5 numbers

LIVING ROOM - WALKTHROUGH

- Zoom in the upper shelves in bookcase and take the compass, KEYITEM for this room; zoom out.

- Zoom in the desk and click on the card to see a date related to spring. Remember this: SPRING 1958.

- Zoom in the left drawers of the desk and take the pen from the upper one and the flashlight from the one in the middle; zoom out.

- Zoom in the right drawers and take the red box from the lower one; zoom out twice.

- Zoom in the trash can and take a grid paper with some numbers on it. Also you can see a torn paper with the word "Winter" on it. Zoom out and go left.

- Zoom in the NEWSPAPER and see a picture of some baseball players in different positions and numbers on their backs. Open the fountain PEN in [About Item] view, remove the cap and zoom on the tip to see some human figures in similar positions. Compare these with the men in the newspaper and figure out a 5-numbers code.
See the solution at the end of the walktrhough

- Open the RED BOX in [About Item] view, click on the number pad and enter the code. Take now a key from inside the box.

- Click on the right couch and take the battery from under the table; zoom out twice.

- Zoom in the plant left from door and take a feather; zoom out.

- Open the FLASHLIGHT in [About Item], click on the lower part and put the BATTERY in. Go right.

- Zoom again in the right drawers, use your key to open the upper one and take a blank paper and a framed photo portraying a couple in an autumn day; while still in [About Item] view, you can now click on the right side of the frame to turn it around, click on the clasps and on the middle to take the photo out. Again click on the right side of photo to turn it around and see a date. Remember this as well: AUTUMN 1995. Go right.

- Zoom in the moose's head on the wall, see the inscritpion written below and remember it: SUMMER 1897. Zoom out.

- Zoom in the bottles on the cupboard and notice the label on one of them matches with the winter paper in trash can; now you know WINTER is 1880. Remember it too and zoom out. Go left... time for a phone call.

- Open your BLANK PAPER in [About Item], use the FLASHLIGHT on it and see the numbers 1-6 on a grid with "spring" "summer" "autumn" and "winter" written on the left column. Set your already known dates on the grid to know the order of the numbers to be dialed on the phone. Dial the 6 numbers now, zoom out and go right.
See the solution at the end of the walktrhough.

- Zoom again in the moose's head and take another key; zoom out and go right.

- Zoom in the Cat's picture and click on it to reveal a hidden safe. Use your key to open it and take the screwdriver; zoom out.

- Open the red box in [About Item] and use the screwdriver to remove the four inner screws; get yet another feather.

- Zoom in the left picture on the wall and place your 2 feathers on it; click again (twice?) on the center of the picture to move it away and take now the typewriter; zoom out and go left.

LIVING ROOM - WALKTHROUGH (Continued)

- Zoom in the black safe on floor and notice you need 3 codes to open it. The hints for these are:

I
チェスは「戦術」と
「戦略」により
導き出された最善の手を
積み重ねて、勝利を得る。
"Chess is "tactics" and "strategy", and derived by accumulating the best hand, get the victory."

II
世間の目に触れない文字
こそが真実。
"Only touch the true character of the public."

III
在りし日を思い、
運命の輪は回る。
1回、2回、4回、8回と・・・
"Feeling of past days, wheel of fortune turns. Once, twice, four times, eight times ・ ・ ・

Let's get those codes now. Go left.

- Look at both black books ("tactics" on upper shelf and "strategy" on second shelf from bottom) and see the similar chess pieces sharing the same squares. Compare these squares in the GRID PAPER and sum up the numbers on those squares; the resulting number is CODE I.
See the solution at the end of the walktrhough.

- Open, read and (if possible) write down every writing in the rest of the books. You need to know which letters are never used in all of the books (Important: Use only the letters INSIDE the books) and to "type" these letters in your typewriter in [About Item] view. If done correctly, you'll get a number standing for CODE II. Go right now.
See the solution at the end of the walktrhough.

- Zoom in the cupboard and search for 1, 2, 4 and 8 wheels among the 8 items on both shelves. Remember their locations and use this order on the pad right side of the cupboard (you'll need to zoom out and zoom in again in the right side of cupboard). If you click the buttons in the correct order, the screen will give you CODE III; zoom all the way out.
See the solution at the end of the walktrhough.

- Zoom again in the black safe and enter your codes by clicking on the gray upper and lower bars of each number. Once it's done you can have the door key to leave this room. BTW, exit is left side :)

Oh, stupid creators. They changed intenational clocks carelessly.
It's almost impossible to slove the old clock puzzle logically.
And the game still prevents browser from using cache:(

...wished I could have read that ending!

@Edgar...though I had good progress till the living room...and after using the dancing men code on every thing but where it belonged, I just gave up and followed your last WT line for line! (shame on me!)

Than ever so much:

@Ellie for clock in office;
@Edgar for the exquisite WTs; and proper painting techniques;
@Xenon for the clock room explanations and the missing keyitem and translations...you were so patient with us!
@Y.U.E.N for sharing your progress so I could catch up...and your company during my misery.

Enjoyed this game!

Congrats all!
Conan is the famous kids anime/manga but this game is not suitable for kids:D

I went back again into the clocks room to see the change Xenon talked about. Now International clocks show the same time zooming in or not and for a moment I thought they would have done it to fix the errors in the room, so I went to look around to the rest of the clocks around the room but I hopelessly found now it's even worse and practically unsolvable :(
