Hostage in the Attic is another point and click type room escape game created by Rachel from RogueJoker. You wake up in an unfamiliar place, an old attic judging by the look of it. Your mind is groggy and the last thing you remember was being hit on the head from behind as you were walking through the parking lot. I clicked above the rocking chair on the wall and got some kind of safe there. Changing symbols.
i think we need electrical tape. you can place the ladder by the broken cord
Used ladder in the cables scene, but i need some tape to put them together.
Confusing panel puzzle ... don't know where to find clues
Place the ladder on the left side in the wire view, have to connect the two wires, probably need tape.

Got the code for the safe...And found a hammer
Hammer breaks the wooden boards on the attic "door" Leads to other attic section.

Found a battery charger... I hope it wasn't a bad thing to put the batteries in the torch before.
Key under window in new section opens the drawer under the mirror and then use tape on wires..stuck now.,
just emptied the sleeping pills in someone's drink, lol
Inside the new room, look for a locked box in between left pillars.

Got a key! Click on the back wall in the attic, on the lighter part of the wall.
That key gives TAPE! lol. Use it to open the drawer with mirror.
Connected the battery charger.
we're all getting charged up now, it seems...
Use tape to join the wires, use then charger to have it plugged.
Can't do anything with the charger ... still red.
Hmm, do we wait for the charger to charge :p
did everyone find the holes between the rafters on the right in the new room? that's how you put the guy to sleep. need to steal his remote i think

I restarted but can't charge the batteries before i put them into the torch.

Got a key from the watch i took from the skeletton, change the time to be like the code on the wall by the skeletton.
I think the torch will work automatically in a dark place
Thanks @Truus, use flashlight in skeleton to find a pocket watch and some codes on wall. Use the code to set the time on watch and get yet another key!
Used the new key to get a drill. Going for the x-mark... might work there.

Got the drill. Open it in about item view and press the lower part of to remove it.

The batteries are in the radio under the mirror. You turn it. Small door on back

The combination for the safe on the wall behind the rocking chair is logic. You click the panel and then organize the triangles in a way chronological way to make up a star..Starting with the two triangles beside eachother...etc.
If anyone might have trouble with that :)
can some1 explain the triangle puzzle 2 me...been a slow day 4 me so i'm just not getting it....
@Eisa - The combination for the safe on the wall behind the rocking chair is logic.
- The first panel you see can be removed by just clicking on it.
- The panel behind it has boxes. Each box needs its own symbol.
- On top, begin with two triangles beside eachother
- The next one needs two triangles about to make a star - barely on top of each other..
ETC:
the last two boxes need to contain the stars..

I solved that puzzle by counting the triangles the shapes form. Then putting them in order from least to most. (was it 3,4,5,7,8 or something)
I must be missing something but the hands of the watch only move in increments of 5. I am just at a loss how I'm supposed to place the hand on 22.

In Europe we are using military time (i did not know that it is called like this), so i had no problem with this code at all (for one time lol)

I have the battery charger all plugged in, I have pills, and I have a stuck flashlight. What am I supposed to do now? I don't see skeletons or drinks at the moment...
I cannot for the life of me find this skeleton that's being mentioned.
Go to the second attic room and at the right side between two wooden pillars (click there) you can see 2 holes on the bottom. Wait until the guy put his glas on the table and put him pills in the glass, then he will fall asleep.
When you click the wall in front of the holes you will find the skeletton (flashlight is used there)
You have to zoom in the holes of course.
Holy crap. I can't believe how many times I (thought I) clicked there!

Start view
Zoom on cobweb.
Remove it to see a pattern. (remember it)
Zoom out and turn right.
View with drawers
Click on left drawer twice to get to the radio.
Click radio to turn it around and remove battery cover and take the batteries.
Zoom out and turn right.
View with vanity mirror and painting
Nothing to do here except maybe remove the covers.
Turn right
'Corridor' view
Go forward an take the ladder.
Go back and turn right.
Rocking chair view
Remove the covers and take a cutter under rocking chair.
Zoom to the bird cage.
Notice the grid on cages door.
Highlight it with the pattern from first view.
Door opens and you'll get a flashlight.
Zoom out.
Click somewhere above the chair and you'll find a panel
(Notice the triangles)
Open the panel to input a code.
I think the code comes from counting the triangles on each symbol.
(3,4,5,7,8)
(I cannot explain this (Somebody a picture please :)
Get the hammer
Zoom out and turn right.
View with an extension cord
Place the ladder below the broken end of cord on left.
Turn right twice.
View with drawers
Zoom on the box with yellow striped tape.
Use cutter and get some pills from inside.
Zoom out and turn right twice.
'Corridor' view
Go forward and use the hammer on boards.
Go forward.
'Attic 2 view
Click right of screen to zoom on a box.
Open box and take a battery charger.
Zoom out.
Click between the pillars to zoom to another area.
Peep holes
There are two holes on the floor.
From them you can see a man on a sofa drinking.
Use your sleeping pills while zoomed to center hole until the man falls asleep.
Now put batteries to flashlight and click the wall behind holes.
Skeleton view
Use flashlight to find a watch on skeleton hand.
Also notice the markings on wall.
Examine and open the watch.
Input the wall code HH:MM:SS
Remember it's 'military time'
You'll find a key
Zoom out 2 times go forward.
Window view
Get the key that hangs from window and go back.
'Attic 2' view again
Click between pillars to see a chest.
Open it with key from watch to get a drill.
Go back, back, back and turn left.
View with vanity mirror and painting
Zoom on vanity.
Use key and take Electrical tape.
Zoom out and turn 3 times.
(now I must hurry :)
View with an extension cord
climb ladder, use tape, go down,
attach charger, select drill, remove battery,
recharge battery, insert battery,
go forward, drill a hole on X,
click hole, get key from the sleeping guy,
go out, drink some beer, have a nice vappu :)
(I may correct this WT tomorrow or not (depends on my hangover :) )

to see the squares on the wall safe that you need to change to open it, you need to click on it 7 times (anywhere on it). Do this when zoomed so that you see the five triangles.
I don't find the battery charger !
Finally got it, I totally missed this view.
And I have to restart another time because I plugged the charger before I put the batteries in it !!!
I don't understand how to use the battery charger ! The batteries won't fit in it, wether it is plugged or not !

@Pascale, the batteries don't go in the charger, the flashlight only works to see the skeleton
the bottom of the drill comes off and that's the battery that goes in the charger. Check Peke's view with an extension cord
I can't find the peep holes. I went into the new room and got the charger, but can't find any peep holes???
