I got the same things as miller, used the key in the drawer for gloves and the mirror on right curtain for a "rope".
Need to figure out code for behind painting but, which word?
The key is under the drawer to the left of the couch. Zoom in upper right corner under it.
Actually the code book is straightforward, just need to know what to enter into the safe.

It doesnt seem like we can write any of the words in the book... need to come up with a new one.
I used the mirror shard on th right hand curtain, it opened and the shard grew bigger!!
Seems to be buggy. My flowers became a bouquet before I got the ribbon.
In the book there are code letters which you don't find on the pad. Think we need a password with existing letters.

@Rambler Exactly. What to put in? Some of the symbols aren't on the keypad so I guess we just need to narrow it down but, we don't know how long it is either.

Shall we spell love? I tried to and thought without any success. But suddenly there was a chain with a blue stone in my inventory. And after clicking everywhere a black key which is good for nothing until now.

Yep, I got the necklist the buggy way too. Clicked in the lower left corner of the safe. Still don't know what to write.
Strange, yes. Whenever I pressed "enter" after putting in letters the light was red. Not convincing. Usually I like cafecafe games.
no necklace, no black key. if those games are buggy then at least to my benefit. but noooo...

@Miller lol...I know right? If you zoom on safe and press enter, click around the bottom left of the safe and see if a black box shows up in your inventory. As for the key...idk
In the same buggy way you can get the key to get out. After getting the necklace with clicking the lower left side of the safe, click the long button and you get the key.
aaargh, accidentally I clicked the ads and NO new window opened (hate that). no re-start for me...hoping for a better game!

So, I clicked top right, top middle, middle, and bottom right....got red light...clicked it a few more timed and finally got a black box with necklace...yes! a bit buggy!!!
@mgkanda, I agree... it doesn't feel right to escape this way. I'm not gonna stay right now to try any longer, but might get back to it later.

I'm gonna do it again and try to use code cracking. I'm convinced they are rune symbols.

Not that it helps but the title on the spine of the book says * Lowe Eipellei * which I can't get but one google hit on that one lol bugs me the safe won't open when it has 2 things in it that you do need to make a good escape? If anyone figures it out please post

You need shoes, flowers, gloves, then in the safe is the blue necklace and the key to go out the door that's all I found but now the bug is fixed and can't get in the safe still lol

i'm sorry but i must really be dumb. but i don't understand how the symbols for the safe makes ETERNALLOWE.
@Angie, not ETERNALLOWE, but ETERNALLOVE (which is supposed to make 2 words, of course: ETERNAL LOVE).
To make sense of the symbols equivalences, you should read the book on the shelves, with the same text in English on one of the pages and the strange symbols on the other, but still is not enough to make full sense of the ones in the safe since the [↑] can't be found in the book.
And about these symbols, they are FUTHARK Runes.

Now, a good question would be... why that code? I mean, there should be a clue somewhere in the game to come up with it, don't you think? Hard to get if you don't know how long it is, or how many words should contain.

@Edgar, I tried everything that has something with wedding/marriage and is possible to spell with that letters. I make ETERNAL but it didn't work, so i tried ETERNAL LOWE (I thought that the long button down the runes was spacebar), but it didn't work either. So I tried ETERNALLOWE (or how you prefer ETERNALLOVE) and eureka!
I don't think there was a clue, just that it was a weddnig day. And from that letters it was hard to make words that has sth common with marriage, especially for me, because my english isn't very well.
Well, yes @Kara. I also thought the long bar was a space. And about the W/V letter in the ETERNALLOVE/LOWE code, you might have read cricketer9999's earlier post pointing the difference of the Elder Futhark Runes and the Gothenburg ones... use this last one to make that symbols standing for V and not for W. Find the Gothenburg Runes also in the link i provided above and scroll a bit down.
And like you, I also think the lack of a hint for the code made the game a terrible one, despite the bug problems when it was released and the constant troubling with pop-up windows, lots of ads you HAVE to go through and the often dark screens that make you unable to load/play CafeCafe games. I hope they can make something about it.
I don't go that far with runes, just check at wikipedia. And there was a little hint in book. Word "luck" was written with runes as "lukk", "c" was placed with "k" cause there was no symbol for "c", I thought the same way with W/V.
I played game day after so there was no bugs.
LOL @Kara, wanna know a little secret? I did play the game and escaped when bugged... and I haven't escaped from it the "right" way since it was fixed :P

The only way to solve the codes on the book for the safe is looking up Furthark runes on google (commented above), which no clue is given in the game to do this. And even if there was a clue, it does not spell any marriage related word. Thanks to these comments it is suppose to be "eternallowe" which actually makes no sense. There should have been a v instead of w but there is no v in the runes alphabet. It's takes a guess to replace the v with w. It would have been a good game if it worked properly.
