    ReplyDelete
  30. I'm confused - which are you calling cabinet 3? The one I can't open is the top right one.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Zoz you would say that being 3rd on the popular list!! hahaha x x x

    ReplyDelete
  32. annaby
if you click on them they show the numbers below
top right is 2, bottom left is 3
    (have 1 and 4 open)

    ReplyDelete
  33. oh, low blow @loz xxx!
but I'm below third if you count kkf!
I just went to the SSSG game and found amy 86 and kkf and told them they're in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  34. annaby
sorry nr. 3 is open (21757)
just number 2 still to be done

    ReplyDelete
  35. Im confused - cupboard 4 (bottom right) is empty but the note says it should contain file 18?
and did anyone else get the paper from the printer, says File 17 and nothing else??
    Im feeling claustrophobic! x x x

    ReplyDelete
  36. @SwissMiss where did 21757 come from?
and for the computer password, I tried catherine coulter but to no avail

    ReplyDelete
  37. Lol Sorry Zoz - Im clearly jealous about the whole thing - haha! But you'll be sorry when me and SwissMiss make our own game lol x x x

    ReplyDelete
  38. wondering whether to play and catch up???

    ReplyDelete
  39. @amy86 there's not much catching up to do as we all got stuck rather early

    ReplyDelete
  40. These codes drive me crazy.. tried everything I could think of.

    ReplyDelete
  41. zoz somewhere on a piece of paper was DC-21757

dialed 543 (power) on the phone and got an
"out of office 627542" on the display

    doesn't get me anywhere

loz xxx our game? that would be a laugh!

    ReplyDelete
  42. getting tired of cupboard 2. added all b'days with and without years and added 112. No dice.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @zoz are you all still stuck??
i see there is a gazzy bug out aswell

    ReplyDelete
  44. See @SwissMiss? you're too clever for this game!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Now I can't find the paper with DC-21757. also can't find the book with the Catherine Coulter clue. Feeling dizzy :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. I looked up Catherin Coultes birthday (26.12.1942)
    but no luck +112

    ReplyDelete
  47. Did anyone try coulter's b'day? Dec. 26 1942

    ReplyDelete
  48. The cupbaord I mean is the top right one. The code is 112 plus the first birthday (2092009).

    ReplyDelete
  49. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Thanks @TC - i had been adding them. Use 112 before B'day - 10 digits

    ReplyDelete
  51. TC - I tried that - that would be 2092121 - but that doesn't work!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Got to a computer screen with RESTART and OFF/ON buttons but I don;t know what effect any of them has as yet!

    ReplyDelete
  53. ahhh not adding up - I see - thanks

    ReplyDelete
  54. PC password must be in capitals x x x

    ReplyDelete
  55. now need a power system password

    ReplyDelete
  56. that password is the one you get from calling the power phone #

    ReplyDelete
  57. btw, pw must be all CAPS

    ReplyDelete
  58. TC - yes I am there as well - but I cannot see any difference - the door needs a code as well
and everything else is open now

    ReplyDelete
  59. Tried number SwissMiss got earlier when calling power extension on phone but no luck??

    ReplyDelete
  60. I tried to play this game, but my computer at work makes it buggy. I could just click on the door and get out (I don't see your problems lol).
And... I can't do anything else. There is a big drawer getting in my way and my other drawers are already opened. I cant zoom on things either. Well, I'll save this "treat" for later. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  61. TC and SwissMiss - in same place

    ReplyDelete
  62. shame Ellie - you are featuring as well in the game

loz zzz - put 543 in the phone and hit the phone (or the buttons on the right - cannot remember)

    ReplyDelete
  63. waiting to see what Restart vs. Off On does...

    ReplyDelete
  64. should have been loz xxx - didn't meen to put you to sleep!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. arrrrggh! just clicked outside the game and must start over! Noooooz!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Am thinking the RESTART and ON/OFF buttons might be to enter some kind of binary code but no idea what that code might be.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Cheers SwissMiss i hadnt actually rang the number yet - was just stealing your brilliance!! haha! Btw Loz zzz ? Am I boring you lol x

    ReplyDelete
  68. @SwissMiss, I am? Haha... not too good for this game then ;) I'll play it in about 5 hours. I hope you are out by then lol.

    ReplyDelete
  69. has anyone worked the red book out 25-27...

    ReplyDelete
  70. we still have the red book so that must be the door code somehow

    ReplyDelete
  71. Which is the red book?

    ReplyDelete
  72. powersystem password is on note on desk

    ReplyDelete
  73. TC - can you put in a code somewhere??

    ReplyDelete
  74. yes @ellie - you have a starring role, lol

    ReplyDelete
  75. red book was in cubboard no 1 I think

    ReplyDelete
  76. @TC - the book with the 25-27 etc. code and arrows going in circles

    ReplyDelete
  77. I think I know how to solve this red book code but I don;t have the red book so not sure!

    ReplyDelete
  78. tried to ring for tea in the meantime - but phone not working lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. Ah have the red book - but my idea for the code was wrong - still stuck

    ReplyDelete
  80. since i had to start over, i noticed that the code for catherine coulter (alphabet numbered in reverse) is missing the "t" for her first name, which would be 22. I have no idea if this is meaningful

    ReplyDelete
  81. anyone figured out connection pw?

    ReplyDelete
  82. loz xxx look at the notice board!

    ReplyDelete
  83. yes zoz - and there is a 2 at the end - would be a "y"

    ReplyDelete
  84. @loz x x x - connection pw is on the bulletin board
    spoil14er

    ReplyDelete
  85. The Catherine Coulter code also has a 2 for the letter y on the end - don't know if that is significant either.

    ReplyDelete
  86. TC - where do you want to put in code
the only one missing is the door

    ReplyDelete
  87. Oh yer cheers guys. Was putting 14 into the phone expecting another code. Im far too much of a simpleton today x x x

    ReplyDelete
  88. so, 25+2 is 27 and 27 +/- 0 is 27 and 27-2 is 25. tried 25227027225 on door. nada

    ReplyDelete
  89. So we have the red book code which could be for the door or could have something to do with the RESTART ON/OFF buttons on the computer but I'm getting nowhere with either of them

    ReplyDelete
  90. red book - if you follow the arrows it would be (from thinnest to fattest) 27-24-27-25-27
    so next would be 26??

    and what with the 25-27-27-25

    ReplyDelete
  91. what about the "some great day" listings in the birthday file?

    ReplyDelete
  92. what we need is one of those math - wizz- kids like Edgar or Trisana or Xenon
    where are you!!!

    ReplyDelete
  93. and what with Catherin Coulter ??

    ReplyDelete
  94. Sorry guys gotta go - finishing work now lol - clearly done alot all day. lol see you guys hope you get. x x x

    ReplyDelete
  95. @zoz do you still have the birthday book - mine is gone - have only red one

    ReplyDelete
  96. bye loz - have to go soon too

    ReplyDelete
  97. Anybody know why we can zoom in on the printer?

    ReplyDelete
  98. @swissmiss
i only have red book now the other one has gone

    ReplyDelete
  99. @SwissMiss I still have it. If you don't then you must have used it somewhere. I think I may have gotten it after I put in the birthday code for cupboard 2.

    ReplyDelete
  100. TC
button on printer prints off sheet saying file 17

    ReplyDelete
  101. @TC you get a sheet that says "file 17"

    ReplyDelete
  102. TC - we could print out a sheet at the beginning saying file no. 17

    ReplyDelete
  103. got paper from printer? File: 17...still stumped

    ReplyDelete
  104. I guess if you all have lost the yellow book with birthdays then the "some great days" is a red herring and we don't need it.

    ReplyDelete
  105. have to go - good luck - shall check tomorrow morning if you have solved it

    ReplyDelete
  106. gotta go do some things. I'll check back in a bit. and you'll all be out!

    ReplyDelete
  107. I have to leave for a little while also. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  108. It's like this game isn't finished. The odd buttons on the computer screen that seem to do nothing. No file 18 in the open cupboard 4 which it seems should have had some kind of code to open it. Sigh!

    ReplyDelete
  109. thought for sure someone would have figured this out by the time I got back

    ReplyDelete
  110. I don't have time to play this right now, but I got far enough to see the file of names.

How fun seeing so many of you all there! :D I had no idea about this game except when Zoz told me I was in it.

By the way, my birthdate is not on there. I'm a tad older than being born in 1988.

I'm sure the rest of you are just on page 2 if we flip it over ;) <3

    ReplyDelete
  111. Still no ending and everyone has abandoned the game??? Doesn't it just figure, we finally get honorable (?) mention in a game and it turns out to be like the Raven/Nevermore game :o(

    ReplyDelete
  112. pfft - fame isn't what it's cracked up to be

    ReplyDelete
  113. WTF! I just got out of the room. Last door code was something like 2427272525272724 or something.. Did they fix something.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I have no idea how you could figure that out @Peke, but it worked:D Thanks!! Brilliant (of you - not a brilliant code)!
The only fun thing with the game was the "fame-thing". Lol, we could have got a "hidden numbers" with our names and would have been just as pleased I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  115. @Ellie, well I tried a lot of codes like 24252727252724, 2425272524 etc. trying to figure out that 25-27-27-25 hint and suddenly the door opened.

    ReplyDelete
  116. @Peke, let's move your name to the top of the list! (sorry @amy86; but fame is fleeting)

    ReplyDelete
  117. Almost Famous Through

    - Begin, as you always do, by clicking on everything that is conceivably click-able
    - RRRRRTT! Put on the brakes HARD when you see KitKatFox on the computer screen. Whaa? Has ourbeloved kkf morphed into the ether where she exists inside this game? We've got to solve this!
    - Look at all the numbers. Thousands of numbers. Zillions of numbers. But, we are intrepid gamers, and When A Problem Comes Along, We Must Whip It.
    - OK, sometimes the way we Whip It is a little lame. For example, some may, oh, I don't know, go to the Comments and see if anyone else has come up with a code???
    - Bless you @sales! The code for the second drawer is

    SPOILER154231SPOILER

    - Damn, it didn't work! Maybe we have to actually see the code before it works. Well, all right, if you want to be that way about it.
    - Look at all the numbers you can find. Knit your brow as if deep in thought. Pause a moment to contemplate. Then go back to the second drawer and enter the code. Voila! It worked!
    - So now we have a Blue Book with a lot of nonsense about a "Detective Fiction Code" and a bunch of (you guessed it!) meaningless numbers.
    - Back to the Comments!
    - Yay @annaby for

    SPOILER21757SPOILER

opens bottom left cabinet." Way to go, @annaby!

    - Hmmm, File 82. I wonder if this is anything like Area 51? Oh, well, have a look.
    - O.M.G.! There in black and white is Me! Amongst all the greats, it's little ole' me! OK, not ALL the greats, there are quite a few missing. But who cares? There's ME!
    - After an hour or so of staring at my name in lights, it's time to wander back to the Comments box (just to see if I can offer any help, mind you)
    - And there again is @sales with "her name is Catherine Coulter". This actually turns out to be fairly meaningless, but I'm sure Catherine Coulter is happy for the publicity (and @sales is to be congratulated for the excellent detective work).
    - And @TC says "and the code is the aphabet numbered backwards". Ok @TC, if you say so (what on earth is TC talking about?)
@TC also advises us to "Get computer password from file number 17 in cupboard 2 - use hint from note on wall for the code for the cupboard door".
    - Whatever. For now, I'll just go gaze at my name in a book. On the web. At a site hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people visit every day!
    - Oh, right, the game. Back to the game.
    - Now let's all work on the "birthdays +112" hint.
    - OK, keep working.
    - Work harder, @everyone, I'm not getting any younger here!
[Aside: now it seems we've got a couple of whiners in @loz xxx and @SwissMiss. Waaa, waaa, waaa. Get over it! Some of us have fame while others can only aspire to fame, see? Don't take it hard, it's just the way of the world]
    - Almost forgot about the game there for a minute! I'll get behind if I don't keep up with my cheati, erm, monitoring of comments.

    ReplyDelete
  118. - OK, there's a lot of banter back and forth about codes and such (BO-ring) and eventually it's possible to chea, erm, pro- gress to the point where everyone is almost (but not quite) out.
    - I'll spare you the boring details (just a lot of code solving and mental calesthenics and such, with hardly anything about ME ), but here's how to move along (thanks to @TC, @SwissMiss, @Peke, and others):

Enter the 112 + Birthdays code in cupboard 2. It is not any combination of birthdays from File 82 (which, btw, mentions ME), but instead it is the number 112 followed by a birthday.

    SPOILER1122092009SPOILER

Now you have File 17, which contains the pw for KitKatFox on the computer. (OK, it's not ME)

    SPOILERESCAPERSPOILER

This takes you to Power System, which requires another pw. And here's where @SwissMiss really shines: "dialed 543 (power) on the phone and got "out of office 627542" on the display". So enter that code (but only after you have seen the page on the desk with the power code and dialed 543, etc.) and get four more folders, including one labeled "Connection". Oh, I can do that one myself!!! Look at the sheet on the wall and find the code next to Connection and enter it in the computer.

    SPOILER14SPOILER

    - Now you see a screen with "Restart" and "Off/On" buttons at the bottom. But which to choose? Hah! The joke's on you, they are both meaningless! All those codes we had to solve to get here? Meaningless! Although you probably can't leave the room without having gotten to this point, but I have to ask, "Why?"

    - Anyway, now is the time when we all got tired and wandered away one by one, leaving @Peke to get us all out by finding that "Last door code was something like 2427272525272724 or something." It wasn't just "something like" that number, @Peke, it was That Number!!!
    You got us all out!

Ah, well. in the immortal words of @annaby, "pfft - fame isn't what it's cracked up to be!

    ReplyDelete
  119. lol @zoz
Your walkthroughs always crack me up.
    I wish I had the talent.. :D

    ReplyDelete
  120. ROFL!!! Hahaha.... too funny @zoz!! I could totally relate to your words :D (I guess putting our names there was just a trick so that we couldn't do anything to solve the game... too busy staring lol).

    ... still laughing!

    ReplyDelete
  121. ahem. I admit that I needed help escaping. Which is just a terrible thing to admit on a game that has your name in it. *blushes*

    Anyway,
Here is another walkthrough. They are my real talent anyway ;) Not as funny as zoz's (of course), but I will explain that last door code, which I figured out after Peke's wonderful work!

    ReplyDelete
  122. Note the computer monitor needs a password (and what a lovely username!)
    Click the printer
Click the pink button and get file no. 17 (I don't know what this is for)
Click the green folder on the table
Click the paper you uncovered and see some codes
Click the papers on the bulletin board for lots of codes and hints (IMPORTANT: You need to look at everything in the game to progress)
For now, click the bottom yellow one and see the hit about DC and a 6-digit number
Click the drawers to the left of the keyboard
The only one that you need a code for (and can open) is the second from the top
Enter the code you found at the top of the yellow sheet
    SPOILER154231SPOILER
Get the solid dark blue book
Take your mouse to the top of the screen to open the inventory
Click the book to see it. Click below the dark about item view to close it
Click the seat of the chair to find the hidden cupboards
Open the top left one (unlocked) -- just click the round lock to the left of the numbers
    Get the red file
Click it in the inventory to read it. See a strange hint about numbers and arrows
The bottom right cupboard is also open, so you just need to open the bottom left and top right ones
Enter the code from the blue book into the bottom left one
    HINTDCHINT
SPOILER21757SPOILER (The bottom right paper on the bulletin board says that the password from the book is for the cupboard 3)
    Get the gold file
Look in it to see a list of birthdays, and note all the EG24 player names!!!!
    Open the top right cupboard
    HINT112+BirthdayHINT
    SPOILER1122092009SPOILER
    Get the blue file
Open the file and see a wonderful clue ;)
    Click on the computer monitor
Enter the password (click the name and enter the password using your keyboard -- then hit enter)
    SPOILERESCAPERSPOILER (all in caps)
    Click the power system folder
    Back out
Click the paper on the desk (the one you uncovered under the green file)
    Get the number you need
Click the red phone on the desk
    Enter the number
    SPOILER543SPOILER
Get the out of office code
Enter this code into the computer (the power file)
    SPOILER627542SPOILER
    Click the connection folder
Back out and click the bottom light blue paper on the bulletin board
    Get the number
Zoom on the computer and enter the number into the connection folder
SPOILER14SPOILER lol after all those longer codes
Buttons appear. You need to press them to get the door to function.
Back out afterward and turn left
Click the lock on the door
    Enter the code
    SOLUTION BELOW

    Solution to the door code
I'm guessing at the reasoning, but I think the red folder's arrows/numbers tells you the order. 24 to 27 to 25 to 27 to 24. The hint at the bottom tells you that numbers are doubled except for the first and last ones. SPOILER2427272525272724SPOILER

  124. So many of us here in this game!!! LOL.

Still struggling on my own, but I know I'll have to come here for help (as for what I've heard, hehe)

    ReplyDelete
  125. @Edgar, if you get stuck, Zoz gave the perfect excuse. We are just star struck.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Yep, I got way stuck (out with Peke's help) and yep, exactly what we are @kkf :P

    ReplyDelete
  127. ROFL @zoz!!! Big HUG for that great artwork!

You know? I think this game is so bad (it is!) that the people in g2r put our names on it to make it a little (a lot?) more interesting :P

LOL @annaby, my sentiments exactly ;)
What's fame after all? Nothing but a bunch of misunderstandings.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Hi viewers,
We fell sorry to miss some of the EG24 viewers names. And we didn't plan to impress the viewers to make the game interesting by using their names. In game concept we need to use some names so we planned to use EG24 viewers name. Just to thank them in this way for playing our games.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Just kidding @g2r, hehehe

Wondering now... why "CRITICAL ESCAPE"? And what criteria you used to pick our names? ...not the most CRITIC ones, right? :P

    ReplyDelete
  130. @zoz
thanks for the funny WT and the KUDOS - my selfesteem is back
(and of course I have been on page 2,3 or was it the last - can't remember)
    lol

    ReplyDelete
  131. @kkf, thanks (again!) for a really useful and concise WT (as opposed to my wayward rambling, which was all about ME). You are still, and always will be, the Queen of WT's!

@games2rule, thanks for the fun game! Maybe the next game will include more of the EG24 crew?

    ReplyDelete
  132. Anyone notice these graphics in the this game look like South Park?

    ReplyDelete
  133. @games2rule I thought it was fun to see so many familiar names in the game. :) I was very surprised to be one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  134. AWWW. i WANNA BE IN A GAME. i NEVER GET TO PLAY LIVE, ALWAYS GET HOME LATE AT NIGHT. I DO AS MUCH AS I CAN BY MYSELF, BUT I NEED YOU ALL AT LEAST A COUPLE OF TIMES IN EACH GAME. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR GREAT MINDS. YOU ALL ROCK!
