The Bricklayer Escape
The Bricklayer Escape is a free downloadable point and click adventure type room escape game created by Stefanie Hartung from Tales'n'games. "So here's my first game I created with Adventure Maker. Basically it's a room escape game, in which someone has locked you into a mysterious room without a door and you need to find a way out - otherwise you are going to starve! The game has a storyline and there will be a sequel (or two). Make sure to turn up your speakers. Further instructions are to be found in the game. Please be patient, the download might take a few minutes." Hello, i did downloaded the game just now and it doesn´t look bad at all, but i don´t have time to play now so i´ll leave it for tomorrow.
If you decide to download, (takes +/- 4 minutes) use the second link, the "bricklayer.zip" only gave me an link with a advertisement for cloud computing.
The game itself reminds me a little of the games Mercedes used to make a couple of years ago.

I took a look, but I didn't like it that much (and it F'd the setting of my pc a bit up).
But anyway all I could find was the the 2 letters to read, the screwdriver, the knife and the key (used to open the book) and that's it. Did you find more?

At the first game screen, uncheck the box
"Change display resolution to 640x480" an the game runs in a window, not changing your configuration.
Yep, found out about don't change the resolution.
Anyway, what's with the number 4035 and what's with the information in the two notes and the book. And why can't we just cut the book (don't need to know a special place, I'm willing to cut everywhere.

4035 reffers to an equation found on the back of letter? What letter?
"Are you so cold?" written on the wall where the key was. What´s that supose to mean? Good question!
"Water coming out from the wall, right under the bed"

Are some hints that caught my attention and of course the Shut up thing, but not getting anywhere with that.
By the way, you made some games with Adventure Maker I read. So my question; Is there any interaction possible with the keyboard and/or dragging things?
You can only drag things from inventory to game.
Using keyboard only to type words kinda password.
Well, completely stuck then. Tried every tool (including the view tool, what's it for anyway?) on everything and can find anything. No new views as well and why can't we use the screwdriver on all those screws (around the tap and waterpipe and on the box) ?
Tried cutter all over the book. No joy.
Starting download but, it says 7 minutes. Don't think I'll be able to catch up. How is it? Fun?

It's easy to catch up. Screwdriver you can take right away from the table. The knife is next to the book when you move all the laundry and the key for the book is under the table (zoom in under the table where it says shiny spot and then zoom in again a bit to the top right for the new view).

Okay, my pc is a little crazy now. Everything is huge and blurry. Game is fine though.

got a new key! I'm sure you noticed the word box on the box. Now go find it in the book and cut it. (pg 46 lower half)

@small-tool in new room behind bed once in turn around so that you're looking out. It's on the left. You get a new one per question. Each question is a clue for one view to the right. So take the spray and (Are you thirsty?) go one view to the right and use it there. (left of valve) It's smooth sailing from there.

Have you used the iron bar on safe yet?
Used the screw as a valve, but something is still missing?

No iron bar, no extra spray.
Shouldn't play this in the kind of state I'm in right now.
@small when you got the screw nut you should have gotten green spray as well. Use that in view where the book is and use hammer for rod. Use rod on laundry chute for valve.

Ah thanks, but that's no extra spray, that's just the first spray.
And yes I'm sure gonna drown myself in gallons of alcohol.
okay, @small-tool, I've got to go but good luck! Also, when you use the pink (1st) spray it should disappear so if you've got a green one use it right of laundry chute.
I might add that there was a small glitch of my having about 3 SDs so very possibly has some minor bugs, but overall really liked it.

Use 1st spray on wall where valve is.
Open box with sd and get "screw" and green spray.
Use green spray on wall where laundry shut is.
Get Iron rod.
Use iron rod on laundry shut.
Insert number from letter, Remember?
Get Life jacket, yellow spray and valve.
Use yellow spray above locked chest.
Get key and wrench.
Put "screw", valve on tap and use wrench.
Open water and wait.
Use sd and key.
