help how can i get to thge lvl 3

wheres the toolbar

Lvl 36: Been here for three days. Had an awful time capturing the lvl source, but managed to grab a screen shot of 10 lines of the source which I think is all of it. Read on Cipher forum and Nord. that leet translation isn't too important. Should look at alignment, change perspective, and find bob's secret code. I managed to translate most of the 5 lines of leet. Have turned it every which way and can't find anything to get me to the next step. I believe that is supposed to be a zip file. The closest I've come to seeing zip is d15 on first line of leet turned upside down. Line breaks not helping.

Ooh. Another riddle to try :) Too late tonight, but I'll try starting this tomorrow. Patty, by the time I get to level 36 you'll be long gone.

Did you manage to finish Bonus B on neutral? As you say, Bonus A appears to be unfinishable.

Patty: Yes, the full translation isn't needed. But you sure need to change your perspective. You've been reading horizontally, so maybe change your way of reading ;)
It doesn't have anything to do with zip on this part btw.

Justsmily, I've been looking, especially, vertically, but not seeing anything. Wondering if I was able to grab all the source code needed. For the leet, I have 5 lines beginning with |-|,u,n,7,5 which makes a good word, but haven't found any others yet. So wondering if I am missing lines below the first five?

Minkie, be aware this riddle requires username and password at intervals. Make note! the cipher forum on gamemastertips.com site gives the lowdown on them. Most of the time the username is cipher which is on the forum; so don't think it counts as a no no hint.

Patty, why don't you try your good word in url? ;)

Thanks, Justsmily, I had tried that days ago and took the error page at its word. Now I see on closer inspection it gave me another line of secret code. I'll work on that.

As to bonuses of neutral. B is doable and Minkie and aaaasa left me good hints to follow. So you'll be able to get through it.
A) Once I saw the spread sheet and knew it was not finishable, I did not try.

Thanks Patty. Yes I've got using the password thing now, and have also just dicovered that the username isn't always cipher. On level 16 at the moment, and may be asking for help later :)

It's great to see some people are still playing riddles :). I wonder where is everyone.

Aagh, Level 20 is driving me mad. Everyone suddenly seems to see it, but not me. It's like mishmash3 all over again. I have the first hint. I've put in s***rg*****, following a comment on this site and found a gibberish word. I've tried obvious things like "the answer". Any further hints possible?

Level 20 is a password box level Minkie. Did you put it in url?

Thanks justsmily!!! That nudged me to try something on the page. Don't think I did things quite right, but I'm on level 21 now :)

LEVEL 28. It seems I need to use a mix of upper and lower case and rotate by 180 degrees rather than flip vertically. Is this correct? I'm failing to make EBOOLESIE a number that is divisible by 7.

Level 28 NVM. I think I may have just found a method that will work.

Lvl. 36: Have made it to the zip file, but having difficulty finding the right letters to make sense. Is there any secret to finding the breaks in the code? Been working on it most of the day.

Minkie, you'll catch up in no time. You know how ssslllooowww I am! Have you seen how to flip lvl 28 EBO... to make it /7? Keep them all upper case.

Yes Patty. I'm on 30 now, but haven't been able to make any kind of start. Trying to take the title literally has led me to entering all sorts of combinations of words, with and without "not". I'm wondering if I could make any progress by searching for fictional owls, which seem to feature.

Lvl. 30: yes, fictional owls, especially memes. You are looking for 3, but one is very fast.

Patty, I'm going to stop now, but if you could think of any allowable hint that will help me to read the level title literally, I'd be very grateful. Fresh eyes tomorrow may help.

Lvl 30: If this isn't it, it must be t***. (This is a very old riddle 2011 I think, and I doubt the intensity of the hint makes little matter at this point in time.)

Patty, have you solved it?
If not, you know which code is used right (not binary)? Then you should learn a bit about the structure of that code. Wiki should have the info you need.
You're very fast Minkie ;)

Lvl 36: Just cracked the zip code. Now what to do with the song? Ok, did it and onto 37. Will look at it after while. Thanks, Justsmily!

Yes, Minkie is a savant at riddles; whereas, I am just an idiot!!

This comment has been removed by the author.

Confused on Level 35. I haven't found the second image. The only progress I've made is to try and answer the question: d*g*****t***, which gives me a page saying almost. Anyway the date seems to be wrong. I've tried to answer the question for the year indicated (although that photo is a different image), but I'm getting nothing. Patty, you are far from an idiot to have got so far, so perhaps you can give this idiot a nudge ;)

nvm Found the second image.

This comment has been removed by the author.

Patty. I'm trying to decode the message in the zip file in level 36, both manually and using online decoders. No success so far :( Which method did you use - I will try to follow in your footsteps.

BTW justsmily. How are you doing in Neutral? If you need help, give a shout out there. I'm checking it from time to time.

Lvl 36: Sorry, haven't been able to play today. What Justsmily said above about checking wiki is good info. There is even an example of the code you need to crack on the page. Once you see how it is done and apply the rules, it'll be easy for you.

Thanks Patty. I can't play much tomorrow, so I will devote Wednesday to starting the level from scratch and gleaning everything I can from the level stages and the comments here. Hope you are getting on OK. I've spent a lot of today ragworting to protect a pony. I don't know if this is a scourge with your stable.

Ragwort, not so much here. However, since you mention problems: our summer has been so hot and dry, the snakes are moving around trying to get water. Unbeknownst to me, my horse that I was rehabilitating from a pulled tendon got snake bit 2 weeks ago while I was riding him. I thought he'd just been gouged by a sharp stick or something. Had to walk him home as there was a cut right above the hoof that was bleeding and he did not want to put weight on it. So he limped home. And the vet diagnosed non-poisonous snake bite. Been nursing him since, but turns out snakes have extremely dirty mouths full of bacteria. Has had too shots of antibiotic thus far. Hopefully, he'll recoup.
See you later.
There are some comments on Nord and the cipher forum, but they are very secretive and PMing with the good stuff.

Don't I know how frustrating all those PMs are! Good luck with your horse.

Lvl 38: Stuck on the 2nd step with 5 x 5 grid. Using only identical symbols from 1st part I am not getting anything. That might be five or six-- Not sure if his n is meant to be eta symbol or not (to use or not to use). Have also tried using upper case symbols for said 1st part which would include Σ. Would imagine that the letters would not have to be anagrammed only translated. And I'm going top to bottom from left to right as in English. Web site referred to in forum kypros.net is forbidden. Need some guidance.

I'm still on 36 Patty. Spent all day away from the internet and worked out a step on paper. I've been hoping all day that it would work and it did! Now I'm stuck with the song. The wiki page for that is short, but nothing from it seems to work. Is it relevant that some words on this level have been written with the last two letters transposed? And am I looking for another zip file?

Sorry had stepped away for a time. Lvl 36 song is just a joke except for the first word. Use it. And you'll be able to move along.

doh Overthinking again. Thanks Patty. Got to go.

38: I'm not sure where you are wrong.
Just to check: 8 letters -> 4 set of coordinates -> 4 greek letters. (The first letter is indeed capitalized, Σ, the rest are lowercase).
And yeah, no anagram, the letters are in the right order. Now translate the greek word to english. This word has multiple meanings, so check them all.

38: I was trying to use every combo of letters; think I see the error of my way now and hopefully, get a word. Yes, next step. Thank you, Justsmily!

Hmm, I'm stuck at bonus B of neutral. Please visit neutral page and help me a bit Patty.

Patty. Level 38. I'm not doing any more tonight cos I need to look at the grid with fresh eyes and good images of a greek alphabet to hand. But I am confused that you are talking of a 5x5 grid. I've got a 6x6 grid.

Minkie, notice that some lines are longer than other. That should clear your confusion ;).

Thanks justsmily. I've got through the 6x6 grid, but now I'm more confused than ever because I seem to have jumped from the middle of level 38 to level 41.

That's ... incredible. You must have had the answer to 40 (5 letters, right?).
I don't know how you can link 38 to that answer...
If you want to solve 38 correctly, read my above post.

Uh. Not sure what's going on. I was on the "broken" page on 38 and entered an alt name from the sc as a username and password.

Yeah, that broken page is at the end of 40. And that's exactly the way to get to 41.
Can you tell me how did you get the word? So that I can check where you're going wrong.

This comment has been removed by the author.

Correction. When I entered *o**, it didn't lead me directly to the broken page, but to a page where there was a hyperlink in the red eye which led to the broken page.

Some info for you to check.
Your 8 letters is the answer of the 1st part.
Group those 8 in pairs, find intersections. And the intersections are greek letters, not english letters.
That should give you 4 pairs -> 4 greek letters. Those greek letters make a greek word, which you should translate to english to get the answer.

Note: This riddle has a system which auto redirect you to the right page if you're just wrong in ONE letter. For example, if page "nice" exists, then "noice", "nwce", "ice" will all redirect you to that "nice" page. Hope that clear your confusion.

OK. I've been going through all the possible intersections to get a different set of 4 letters and have a new translated word "s***t****" which works. I guess this is still in level 38.

Yeah, you got the right answer now.

Level 40. I think I see what I am trying to do, and I am trying to be accurate. I thought I had a good word using granny, but no go. Do I need to visit granny, or are the letters in order?

40. I have found several dots in the pic. Is there anything else?

Yes Patty. There are scraps of the page source code. I am sure the dots should overlay the source, but I can't make a word.

What does granny mean?
This level is hard. So you found some dots on the pic, overlap the pic on the source to get letters.
The source drawn in pic and the level source should fit together. To do that you should reflect and resize the pic a bit.
And be aware, the letters are not in order. Anagram to get the answer.

I can check letters for you if you need.

The most hopeful letter I had were HNSIY.
Granny just beens anagramming.

sorry beens = means LOL

I made it through labyrinth, Minkie. Now facing 41. Let me know if you need anything.

I can't get the word at the beginning of 40 Patty. I actually stumbled on level 41 earlier, but I am stuck at the beginning of that too except for one unhelpful egg. I thought those symbols might be something to do with a counting system or with some sort of sign language, but haven't got anywhere.

You have a mac? I used pages. Took screen shot of source page and one of dots on pic. Dragged them to pages app., lessened the opacity on the dots, and overlaid the two. Carefully lined up the lines and noted where the backwards source started to lay the dot pic at that same margin. Letters were pretty evident.
I'd also thought about measuring, if the overlay method didn't work.

I've been trying something very similar in paint and came up with HNSIY. I'll try again following your method as closely as I can. Haven't used "pages" before.

thanks patty. Got it now I had somehow reversed the dots with all my fiddling about.

Good. I have one egg on 41, followed by . . . I've tried to change the suffix to a number of different ones, but haven't gotten it right. Thinking that's not what it means by . . .

Just let me know if you need some help.

I've been doing the same thing Patty. We seem to be in the same place exactly. The wav file doesn't reveal anything interesting in Audacity. I figured the numbers in the source for the hyperlink might be useful, but I can't see how.

justsmily Could you give a nudge towards what type of symbols those ones in the top right are?

justsmily, 41: Do the dots mean to change the suffix? and what do those 6 symbols mean. Found on nord--3 syllables; 6 letters with 3 vowels; cvcvcv. But think I need another egg to get there.

js, left you a hint for the A you are looking for on neutral.

I don't understand anything you said...
I solved the level with only two things: SILENT and the 6 signs on the top right of image.
You need to find a kind of language here.
SILENT acts as a hint to that language :)

This comment has been removed by the author.

Patty: it looks like this might provide another hint from Nord:

Pronunciation of my language is very different from English. We don't use our tongue and mouse like that.
( We only have 5 vowels and 14 consonants. It's much fewer than English. )
But you don't change the level. Totally it is the problem of my poor English skill.

Ah! I think I've got it. Yes, thanks!

You're ahead of me again Patty! I seem to have helped you more than me :/ Is it a sign language, or is it something to do with the tongue and mouth?

It's ASL as you said Minkie.

Oh. I couldn't make that work. Back to try again. Thanks.

So Patty, do I need to ignore that cvcvcv hint? I haven't got it, but it seem the last letter has to be a consonant.

I'd forgotten that it was a password level, doh. On 42 now (I think I've skipped over part of 41).

I think Nord was misdirecting with the cvcvcv hint. Unless it referred to the word I used for the unnecessary egg page with the 3 dots that led no where. I did not recall the symbols being used before in this cipher, but you know my memory. Once I thought about the language used as js described it jumped to mind. So I do not think you skipped any important part of 41.
42: I'm now looking for symbols.

I've since found out that the second part of 41 was removed because it was causing problems for non-English speakers. I think that must be what the cvcvcv was about.

I've got codes for all but one of the symbols on 42 so far, but I don't think I'll take it any further tonight cos I think this is going to be complicated.

OK, I was trying to find a country or language, but may be wrong direction. I'll study nord and cipher forum and see if I can glean any info. Won't be able to play tomorrow, but should be back at it Fri. See you later!

Very unexpectedly I got 42, so ask if you need a push.

42. Whenever you get this. Yes, I could use a push. Got codes for all but two, u' and 2 with bar through it. Didn't really notice anything missing from source except "head" compared to a previous level. Having to write a source code is not in my repertoire! Not sure what to do with codes gathered either. Somehow convert them into letters? I'll work on that until my time runs out for today. Wouldn't let me post with symbols I originally used for head, so changed them, and hope this will go through.

This comment has been removed by the author.

ps u' is, I think, 432.

This comment has been removed by the author.

Level 46. Apparently I need to be finding some numbers both Inside and outside. I've found 2 numbers by throwing some paint around, but I don't know if they count as inside or outside ones. Apart from numbers in plain site on the page and in the source codes, I can't find any others.

What about exif? :)

Thanks justsmily. Thought I tried that, but maybe not. Just seeing my atrocious spelling in my previous post, I realise how tired I was when I posted!

Thanks for the tutelage, Minkie. Made it through 42 in short order after I figured out how to view the polygon. Had to highlight the pic first; then tab showed the shape.

Abruptly stalled on 43. I think I have the correct starting notes, but looking at the title with the notes (dominant music) I don't get anything. And no eggs so far so wonder if I'm reading them correctly. I have a G sharp as the first one.

Hi Patty. My bookmarks are all over the place (and often absent) so I need to go hunting. From memory, yes g# is correct, but it isn't always called that. There's a hint in the source for alternatives. The first egg isn't a word.

If the hint is the last line in source, I don't get it. And if it stands for data encryption standard, I really don't get it!

If you study the wiki article on musical notes, that last line may become clear.

Made it to 44. I also read up on ragwort. What a nasty plant! Very widespread in Canada and north & west US. Hasn't invaded this area yet.

Well done Patty. Yes it is nasty indeed, and lots of people round here are very lazy (or ignorant) about removing it.

45 b. Can't figure out what kind of cards those six are. Tried tarot, pokemon, poker? Will leave it here for the day. Perhaps, a little lucky draw will come my way?

Patty If you invert the colours and look at the first card, you may recognise it as part of something.

I won't be able to play tomorrow Patty. Maybe see you on Sunday :)

46: Spent all day working on this one. Sure I have the 2 #s from inside, and pretty sure I have the 2 from the EXIF info. But not sure at all about a 5th #. Sounds like it is supposed to come from the same place. Then, take all five and press 'it' (the button?)? Maybe they'll spell something, but the few words I've tried aren't it. Hope someone can give me a spot on the button.

Yes Patty, there is a third number in the exif. The question is "Which button?"

There are 3 numbers in the exif patty.
Press the help button :)

This comment has been removed by the author.

Was going to have you check my #s, but just got it! Thanks, you two!

49. Been studying the non hints on nord and cipher forum. have found 3 more jpgs with hidden art, messages. Looked at the info and haven't been able to get morse code (team... & name...) looked promising. But can't get a good ending. Haven't decoded the gibberish on jpg-c. Have a list of letter and number =s that mean nothing to me yet. Pay attn. to C---; reve... the inv...; I'm going to need a Sherpa to guide me out of this mess. And don't even start about databases??? Where to BEGIN?

Patty. Most of the things are red herrings. The most useful one to start is Pay attn to C---. You've seen them at the beginning but are probably ignoring them by now. If this were an s-t riddle, it would have been one of the first things I tried cos he uses this riddling technique quite often. Level 50 is huge and I fear needs more knowledge of image manipulation than I have. I'm still trudging through all the opening pages before I look at Nord etc.

49. Are you talking about all the capital letters thru-out all pics? Including the title?? Seems like a lot.
Scary to hear about 50. But I don't know that I'll reach it.

You are not far off Patty. I've a feeling some of the stuff in 49 is for finding bonus levels. Title sounds good.

I am floundering in the 'shop of red herrings.' Not getting anywhere. May need another piece of bait.

A very simple operation on the level title will get you on one step.

I had made a 5 x 5 grid out of title! These have been so challenging; I never thought he'd give us a simple step. Thanks, I'll see if I can get anywhere with that.

49. LOL, OMG! I spoke too soon about simple. What the heck is all that gibberish?!? But managed to find the database. And will call it a day. Thanks for the company!

See you Patty. It seems you must have found the only thing that matters in that gibberish.

49. I know I'm to look at the errors in the database in general terms. 'Some of the URLs are right and some of them are wrong. Think in bits' (I don't understand that). I've tried various error messages, but haven't lucked on the right words. How to find them? (I'll delete this, if it is too much.)

It's not too much patty. Those comments may make more sense if you notice there is a space after one of the links. You can divide the number of links before the space in a useful way.

I've made very little progress today. I've still to check through some nord pages, but soon I'll be posting about my failures and we can try to struggle on together!

Patty, if you haven't found the errors (or some of them) yet, the easiest way to find them is to study the page source. Check through each line that shows the links carefully.

I.e., 8 bits make a byte? If that is the case, I haven't figured out what to do with those 8. FTF looked useless, sequence as well. Must not be looking at it right.

Didn't see your 9:58 message. Yes, I found all the errors.

It's not FTF. There's a code that uses 8 bits that you've used very often. Remember that there are only two options:right or wrong.

Sorry, typo, 6 bytes.

I see where this is going (I hope).

OK, have the answer, but not the right user name, assuming I use the answer as the password. Have tried as user: cipher, balthazar, labyrinth, & asphyxiation. The page level gives egg 'WR--- FO----MO----' for my answer; so sure it is right.

Patty, there's a folder you are trying to enter.

Aacck (double aacck had to sign in again after clearing history) no matter what I try it isn't working. Haven't had this much trouble logging in since I first encountered this in the riddle. Have I missed something in the source code? Even tried 'level 50.'

There's a folder you haven't entered yet. It's shown in the database.

I have tried clicking on level 50; getting log in box; entering User cipher; PW g..... which just brings up the log in box again. And I've typed in the URL with the answer which brings up the log in box too. Nothing is being accepted; so doing something wrong.

I've still got a long way to go in level 50, but just in case justsmiley is still visiting I'll post this questions.

I've got a load of hex codes in G3 and E1, but have no idea what to do with them now.

This comment has been removed by the author.

OK, I'll try. Took a screenshot. So delete. Hope it works as I had typed the top entry with the log in box popping up. Did not redirect.

I'm giving up for the day. It still wants a user/password. And cipher and g(answer) won't work. Just keeps popping up log in box. Very frustrating. This is level 49, if justsmiley drops by.

Patty I don't remember using a user name and password at this stage, but it is just possible (once you've entered them once, you aren't asked again, so it's impossible to check what they were). If you're still having problems, perhaps these posts from the forum will help:
aimagician wrote:
What's the username of level 50?
Is the password the answer of level 49 or level 48?
Try your previous username.

aimagician wrote:
What's the username of level 50?
Is the password the answer of level 49 or level 48?
Strangely, it's the username of a way back level.
I dunno if that's intentional.

Made a step on G3 now :)

Left to do on the initial pages (ignoring warped door and trying to open most doors):
A4/2, tried with what's there and what's missing in various directions. Still not seeing it.

E1 Lots of hex codes
E3 I've got the 7 disappearing words I think. I found a 7 letter word but it was no good. Don't see what else to do without translating which GMT said is not needed.

E4 (not E3 as I posted above) done now. Didn't like this level.

A4 done :)

Managed to enter today. Was almost hesitant to try again. Went back to the 'B' folder and entered URL for lvl 50. log in accepted cipher and 'g' password. Was able to get A2, but 'simple math' alludes me on A1. In trouble is I can't even do the simple ones!

Will see what else I can muddle through in the riddle unto itself.

Correction, guess I made it to the end of A1b. Still need math for A1a. Better take good notes on this mess.

I'm a bit confused what you mean by getting to A1b.
For the two lines of maths, the first is about a number sequence, the second is about something other than numbers in a way - or at least something other than digits.

BTW I'm very glad you've joined me Patty. This is going to need at least two of us! Do keep good notes, it pays to be very organised.

I'm still trying to map out how these halls work. For A1b, I was at the 1st pic in A. hall 1. Noticed the name of the simple math pic changed it to the next logical no. pic and got a whole lot of jumbled letters from which I pulled a word that led me to an end. Perhaps, the pic is down another A. hall that I haven't tried yet. Just getting started and trying to do a good look at info on pics I've uncovered.
Also, every time I go back to the Amethyst hall and pick another hall, I have to re-enter user and pass word. Is that normal for you too? Luckily, they're the same. Seems strange to me though. Even backing from one page to another, I need to log in. Must have it out for me.

Don't know how much help I'll be. I'm even hesitant about trying to use GIMP or a similar photo shop program. A lot of them tell me my browser is out of date and can't open program until it's updated.

Just reread this and started laughing. . .A hall sounds too similar to A hole. Maybe not a good mental state to be in this labyrinth!

Oh, I hadn't done that in A1 Patty. Thanks, I will investigate. Edit - just checked. I hadn't seen that page.

I think it will be quite difficult to do it without GIMP or similar. Paint is enough for some of the pictorial levels, but there are things like colour picking. There are online tools that are good enough for some levels, but not all. When you've narrowed down the ones that are problematic, I guess we can cheat and delete :)

I haven't had to enter passwords at all after entering the labyrinth - so far.

mmm Just been thinking. I don't know where the password and username info is stored on my computer. Have you got some sort of setting that clears history every time you leave a page?

A hole is not inappropriate perhaps, it is what we are in - and I think something like it every time I see those frustrating PMs on Nord.

OK. By doing what you did in A (calling up the next pic) you just a pic that you would have got by entering the next hall. I hadn't seen the one with the jumbled letters because on entering A2 I was immediately redirected to another page. Came to the same dead end either way.

I was thinking of checking out all the redirects I've come across, so I will set about that task now in case it shows up something useful.

E1 is the only one of the AEGI rooms that I haven't solved (I think - nothing is certain!). I've got 11 hex codes, most consisting of 1s and 0s, but the last one containing two 2s. Don't know what to do with them.

This comment has been removed by the author.

POP got E1 now. There's obviously a lot of hidden stuff that I've missed.

Amethyst: Yes, I see now that the way I got the 2nd pic was what was in hall 2. for hall 1 I worked out the top number sequence, but bottom row is still alluding me.
Hall 4: Looking for code to translate letters. No luck thus far.

May check out another set of halls before quitting time.

A1 second row. I think you've seen this trick in previous riddles. Try writing out each of the numbers.

A4. Look down.

What does BEEP refer to??

it's m**** c*** Patty. This one is hard to see and totally obvious once you've seen it. You can use paint to help you in this one.

I'm done for today Patty, a little progress, but so much more to do!

I am at a total standstill.
Progress report:
solved all AIEG rooms I think.
opened tainted, warped, gold and emerald doors
Can't find myriad door or third part of shattered key.
I've a feeling one of the darkrooms may be misleading, but I can't find it.

Just found one more thing. Two different solutions open the emerald door, but both lead to the same thing.

And a question. doing G3 "properly" leads to a door, but putting in third.jpg leads to a darkroom. I feel this should be fourth.jpg.

Just a quick check in this a.m. before heading to barn to meet farrier. Worked yesterday mainly reading Nord. Then made a little progress. Found ice door, made it through tainted door, and found 1 piece of shattered key.
Have a lot to still get: Namely A1 second line of nos. Tried writing out words, thinking nos to lets, but then confused myself and didn't know to do one seven or seventeen, and felt lost.
Also trying to figure M.C. on A4 with no luck thus far.

Have lots of pics saved on computer to work on.
Luckily have found lots of darkrooms to eliminate (for now?).

Hopefully, will have some time later today.
I'm sure you have made it out of lvl 50 by now. I hope to someday!

I am very far from out Patty, and finding no further help on Nord.
A1 2nd line. Write out the single digits used. They are in a familiar order.

A4 rotate and separate.

I have no progress to report, but a couple of questions:
Why is gold third pic hidden away and why does it have slices group name "second" in exif and why does it have (2) after its name in the file info?
Ditto for amethyst second pic although its slices group name is not "second", but the familiar "Untitled-1"?

I've been trying to get the RGB values of the 8 hidden squares on Gold, third pillar. But depending on how I adjust the color, I'm getting different colors. It goes anywhere from white to aqua, sometimes 3 red and 3 pink, & 1 blue; another 1 blue and 2 different shades of purple. Who's to know which are the right colors. Nothing so far from Red Luth Tools color picker has yielded a word. This is the only gold pillar I have left. Didn't work on Amethyst today, except to see if the A1 second line looked familiar--no.

Should have more frustrating time to work tomorrow afternoon. A little work to do in the a.m. while temps. are slightly cooler.

I keep asking myself what did I get us into?? Sorry.
Not seeing the names of slices group name you're referring to, Probably haven't gotten that far yet.

BTW I saw today on gamershood that there are two different solutions to G3. I only have one.

BTW2 The reason the image was a gif, not a jpg is that colours stay stable in gifs, but not necessarily in jpgs as some info tends to be lost each time it is saved.

Amethyst 1: really it's as easy as abc...

And lastly slice group names can sometimes befound in the exif info (at http://exif.regex.info/exif.cgi), in the section headed photoshop. There is occasionally a hint in that particular field.

Thanks, just checked back in after feeding. You may delete. I'll try again tomorrow. Do you think you'll need both answers to proceed? Perhaps, it is like what you found on emerald.

Patty: I've just had this from Dutchie:
"Btw. Do you know this site https://puzzletome.com/index.php tons of riddles there.
They launched a new one some days ago named Olympics 2020. You have to make a login to be able to play the riddles. There is a forum for each riddle. Several EG24 players plate there too, Ceebee, Veri, Donas, Pichi etc. Might be worth to take a look."

I may take a look (though not today) and we could put this one on the back-burner if we both get stuck where I am.

Wow, hello, I've just been back from a week studying.
Just ask if you guys need help, Patty and Minkie.

Hi, justsmily! We've been plugging along. I think Minkie is ready to break free of the labyrinth. I've made progress. But still having the simplest (not for me) A1 second line, now holding up my progress. Came back here to reread her previous hints & we are now 'PM'ing as Nord says, so we can avoid having to delete posts. Also haven't taken time to work on A4 yet again, but think I now know the concept.
Think I have 2 left after that: the one with the lines of Greek writing E4 that is supposed to disappear (haven't accomplished that yet). And the one with the stretched out letters A6 that I think is a deadend, but haven't confirmed nor been able to shrink them enough to read.
Hint on any of those fronts will be most appreciated.

Hi Patty and justsmily. I'm nowhere out. Just where I was two days ago. I need to gather my thoughts, and I'll be pestering you justsmily ;)

Patty. I checked out the one with greek writing. It is possible for you to do it without gimp. You need to open the pic in Paint and invert the colours. Then you can make the words disappear in colour sync.

Patty. Just checked out A6 as well. This is possible in paint (in fact rather easier than in Gimp). Rather than trying to shrink the pic, instead expand the canvas, so that you have space to stretch into.

Justsmily. I don't have the myriad door or the 3rd shattered key fragment. I've been turning back to previous levels (particulary 49 and 2). Is this sensible?

Also I saw that someone said there were 2 solutions to G3. I have two ways of opening the emerald door, but they both lead to the same thing. Should I be looking for something else in G3?

No, G3 has only one solution, and it leads to the emerald door.
The order of opening doors is:
Gold → Emerald → Amethyst → Myriad → Ice → Bloodstone.
The 3 key fragments are for the Emerald door. One is from Gold door, one is from Tainted.
About the last: There's a spelling mistake that you haven't noticed. In the gold page in particular :).

Administator haven't activated my account on nord (I have waited for 1 month!). So I only have this account on eg24. You can pm me on the official cipher forum too, my username is hello there.
Do you play any other riddles btw?

Thanks justsmily. I can stop looking in G3 now. I've already found that mistake in G and used it. I'll try to find what I've missed (with the help of your comment) when I'm back home with my paper notes.

About nord. I tried to activate an account on nord back in March. The process went so far then stopped. I'm still not in.

Thanks for the offer.

Justsmily. I've been trying to message you in the forum, but my messages just disappear. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I've been at the same point for days past the w***** door and I am being told to t*** b*** f*** m*****. Tried loads of things, and I think I've reached the conclusion that I need to stay where I am and move forward to find my third shattered key fragment.

I've been trying to interpret this comment from GMT "@Boke, the labyrinth is only trying to mislead you. Look back at how the other fragments were displayed and you'll see what's wrong with this one."

Is it about something in the pics themselves and the letters in them or should I be looking elsewhere?

Okay, compare this fragment's picture to the other 2. There's a difference between them. t*** b*** f*** m***** is not important, pay attention to something like ... names.

Thanks justsmily. I'll think about that. I've already been playing around with sizes, but I'll redirect my attention.

At last I'm at the sudoku! Thanks justsmily!!

Breaking my toes trying to kick in the myriad door. I've been revisiting rooms etc and trying to make numbers. Will 1s and 0s help me here (assuming I'm on the right track) or do I have to find a way to use other digits)?

Don't you notice that the source of each room has something a bit ... out of order? :)

Thanks justsmily. I'll go looking again.

Haha. Not those wav files that weren't working (spend much too long on that). I really should have got that, cos I noticed it but not thought about it. Thanks Justsmily.
