Hmmm...thanks nokra and stu, but I have got the one from the top of the stairs (on the floor on the right between the railings). Still missing the S ball...v strange when I had no problem finding it the first time around! Have the blue rose, but haven't yet (obviously) been able to get into the room where you place the balls.
Ah, found it! (Super POP moment!) It is outside the big gate when you open it but don't go through!
In the first room...one in color code box, and another on blue vase...also when you open the gate, get a ball but do not go out!

How do you play this game? It's not loading!!!
It's not always the best to use hidden hint at starting scenes, since most of us skip them especially when playing live, but I think it was OK this time since we were able to go out and have a look to the colored flowers. Maybe the right order of the doings in this game? Don't open the box on the fireplace until going back inside? I'm not the author to say that for sure.
I also like when you cannot open the safe (or any other thing) until seeing the code, avoiding a possible brute-forcing. The safe here was not able to be clicked until seeing the code on the paper... but you could use it with the window shut! Maybe the author lost sight of this.
good point, Edgar! I didn't think about solving the fireplace box after leaving the room since I had already solved it with Megi's help.

From the main page, click the 4th link from the top to start the game (or go directly here: http://twinklehome.web.fc2.com/mira.html)
Click the floor left of the safe (you can’t enter a number code until you see the clues)
Get the star key. There is a clue here that I can’t read.
Back up and turn left
Click the floor right of the fireplace
Get the crowbar
Back up
Get the piece of charcoal from the top of the burnt fireplace logs
Get the b ball from in front of the flower vase
Click the box on top of the mantle
You can enter colors here and the clue is about flower pots. If you paid attention at the intro scenes of the game, you can enter the colors. If not, you will do this a bit later.
Go left
There is a hidden hotspot in this scene, click the VERY top of center of the curtains over the bed to look up (thanks, Megi. I thought I had clicked everywhere)
There is something here, but you can’t reach it
Use the crowbar to reach the white paper card
With the about item view of the card up, click the charcoal in your inventory and use it on the card
See the hint
Back up and go left
Use the crowbar on the boarded up window
Click to open the window
Turn left
Enter the number code into the safe
SOLUTION BELOW
Click the OK button and get the rope
Go right
Use the rope on the open window
Go out the window
Click the flower pots to find the a ball and the circle key
For the End (first ending)
Turn around
Use the star key on the gate lock
Leave
For the Endings 2-4
Turn around
Use the star key on the gate lock, but don’t leave
Get the s ball from outside the gate
Turn around to the building again
Use the circle key on the locked doors in front of you
Go inside and up the stairs
While there, get the t ball front the railing on the right
Go left and use the crowbar to unlock the room you climbed out of
Go to the fireplace and enter the colors
Get the e ball (and another clue I can’t read)

Go back out the door to the hallway. Go right 2 times to a door with a lock where you can place your balls.
Spell something with the balls then enter the room and marry the prince

SAFE NUMBERS
The card you use the charcoal on has star, circles, and triangle as a hint. Count the stars out the window, the circles on the flower vase, and the triangles from the fireplace top. SPOILER628SPOILER
FLOWER POT BOX COLORS
The box on top of the fireplace mantle has 3 colors you can enter and a hint about flower pots. The flower pots were in the introduction scenes to the game (when the girl is outside the building), but you can see them again when you go outside the building and get the circle key.
