got to go
brave one who writes a WT for that one
small-tool - are you up to it??

Thanks for all the help @everyone!!!!OUT!

@Brenda - there are more than 3 kitchen scenes. There's a right turn I missed at first, possibly the first scene.

31 rooms? I had (including the outside) 39 rooms.

Brenda,
I think the knife was in the top room of the bottom right rooms or in the most right room (and there again the top one of the two).

Well, a walkthrough? Erm.. maybe.
But if anybody wants to, please do so.

Thanks Annaby. I thought I was doing well at chcking all the side rooms but totally missed that one. Finally found the knife

brenda
find the door opened with black key.then forward right right forward.

marita,
Gold key; go all the way up from the entrance and then you get to the top middle room. There's a big picture and you can click the corners of that picture frame. Click them in the order of the Captains Log (for the order use the roman numerals order from that log).

when you first get in the kitchen there is a right view.. I missed it at first..

does not understand which is 3 stellioge code bild where on it and how click?

Click die Ecken;
Links Unter
Rechts Oben
Rechts Unter
Links Unter
Links Oben.

Great - A new Self Defiant game - I'll try to catch up - but will probably still be playing it tonight if there's 31 rooms! Thanks, SD.

Kathy K,
It's worse (or better), there are 39 rooms.

Can´t for the life find the pool room. Any help?

Ah dein lila ist rosa.
Und lila ist im Zimmer rechts oben. Am lampe.

roberto,
Pool room(s) are the top rooms of the bottom left rooms.

I can't understand the hints for the code in beggining of the game, with the for 2-digit numbers and the colored balls.

Do you mean a room with a pool table? or a swimming pool?

roberto,
water no pooltable is what I meant.

belabomb,
Alphabetical order is Blue Green Red Yellow and don't use the 1's because they're small, so the number is 5839.

marita,
warte, Ich erkläre.

I have all gems but can´t find the order.
Can´t find the pool room
Can´t find the blue key for chest
And I dont know the meaning of colors on top of pilars either.

marita,

I followed the map room by room and still can´t find this pool room! :(

roberto,
You found the poolroom, that's the pillars with the colors. Now use those colors on the picture. Start top left and go counter clockwise, but when you're at the bottom the order is disturbed (first use Orange in the middle and then go on with the color order from the pillars).

ah habe farben richtig reingesetzt und blauen schlüssel erhalten und bin raus
danke
und euch ein frohes fest allen noch

Ok.. that was tough. Wish there had been a map!

I don't understand enter code :( cannot enter in the castle :(( someone can explain it ??

Oh EnJoy, there was a map. Just click the tab MAP.

My God!!! So, the room is not a room. lol

I have 6 gems but no blue key for the chest, and I didn't find where to put the gems.

Adamantia,
Just look at my post (9:34 AM), a few posts above.

       Anonymous  12/23/10, 9:43 AM

Where to use the sword?
And where is the SD?

going in again to look for all the coins. found sneaky coin on flags in first room in the house

@Enjoy - hate to tell you this, but there was a map!

Pascale, you need 7 gems for the blue key and the gold key for the place to put the gems.

       Anonymous  12/23/10, 9:46 AM

Have 6 gems and no SD?
Have found Place for Sword.

thx small tool :))

Oscar,
Screwdriver is in a drawer in one of the bedrooms in the bottom right rooms.
And the sword was used on the box/stone in one of the bottom left rooms

Thank you Small-Tool. I think that I miss a purple gem (I have : orange, yellow, red, blue, green, pink gems).

Congrats EnJoy, you're the first who found the Sneaky Coin.

@ annaby.. where the HECK was the map? I am replaying the game right now! Haven't seen it!

@Enjoy - tere's a button on the map.

@small-tool - the sneaky coin was early in the game, don't remember where, but we hadn't gotten very far

oops - @Enjoy - there's a map button on the right

Sorry but didn´t understand the order of gems.
Do I have to start at top right corner using the order from the pillars?

Pascale,
Purple gem is in one of the top right rooms. Pull the cord of the hanging lamp.

       Anonymous  12/23/10, 9:52 AM

Is that bedroom where it goes to the kitchenrooms too?

STUPID ME! I played the whole game without using the map!!!

@roberto - start at at top left and go counter-clockwise. Orange goes in bottom center

@Enjoy - I didn't notice it at first either. It's been a while since SD included one

roberto,
Start top left, go counter clockwise, but in between the order is the orange gem in the bottom middle, then go on with the order from the pool room (water room lol).

Not really sure anymore Oscar, but I think not. I think it was on the very bottom right.

I set them like this:

green blue
pink red
purple orange yellow

The order from pillars is: green, blue, red, yellow.
No joy!

Top left was blue if I remember correctly. So start with blue in top left and under it the next one (green ?) etc.

set the gems like this starting on the top left and continuing around

blue
yellow
purple
orange
pink
red
green

       Anonymous  12/23/10, 10:03 AM

SD ist in ULRIC-room. middle right!

Thank you again, Small-Tool, now I have the purple gem. But I still don't know where to put those gems.

Thanks Enjoy, but this order has nothing to do with order from pillars!

       Anonymous  12/23/10, 10:05 AM

Thx, I'm out too!

Thanks EnJoy.
By the way is somebody writing a walkthrough?
Selfdefiant games deserve one, don't they?

Thanks to small-tool and Enjoy for being here even after complete the game, helping us.

Pascale,
You need the gold key for that place.
Use the Captains Log clue at the top room in the middle to get it.

and annaby as well

Well, I saw the captain's log, but I don't where and how to use it.

Pascale,
The roman numerals are the order (so start with the lowest one etc.) Then things like SE (south east) are the clues wich frame corner to click.
And the picture with the frame corners to click is at the top room in the middle (go all the way up from the entrance).

@ Roberto.. I just went back into the game, and my pillars were in the color order that I listed above.

Blue, yellow, purple, pink, red, green. we just stuck the orange one in the middle (mostly brute force with the orange)

@ Pascale. I had a hard time with the captains log as well. As S-T mentioned you go all the way up from the center room and there is a big stone wall with four stone round knobs looking things, that is where you press as mentioned by S-T

@Small-Tool and Enjoy, thank you ! Now I have the golden key. I didn't even noticed those 4 square stones !

I'm out, but I couldn't have guessed the order of the gems by myselft.

Thank you again, especially to Small-Tool and Enjoy !

Nobody writing? Last time asking? No answer in 10 minutes and I start writing a WT. Like I said before; we owe it to Selfdefiant.

@ Pascale.. congrats! That was a tough one!

@ S-T you are the expert.. I could never in a million years explain this one! Logging off.. have a good day/night!

@Enjoy - I had colors in only 4 pillars.
Green(18), blue(15), red(13 and yellow(19) in this order.
Two pillars were white.

wrong pillars roberto, it was the pillars inside the house, the famous poolroom.

So, nobody writes, then I'll start a WT but it will take some time to finish it.

lol!! So I didn´t find this "famous" place.
So, what´s the meaning of those colored pillars I referred to?

Those pillars and colors and alphabetical order of the color names were the clu to get inside the castle/house. How did you get in?

I got it! Means the order of numbers.

That was fun. Now I'm going to have to go back and see if I can find all the gold coins too. LOL.

YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!
Found the pillars inside the house.

Finally got to come back and finish! About halfway through I "discovered" the MAP button on the lower right - what a difference that made!
Got out with 48 coins; may try for 50 later.

Btw, all the photos were from the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California. Randolf Hearst built it to live in with his mistress, Marion Davies. She must have really been something!

@small-tool, looking forward to your WT (and glad it's you and not me, lol!)

       Anonymous  12/23/10, 11:12 AM

Crap! I still cannot find the pink gem.

       Anonymous  12/23/10, 11:15 AM

POP...I'm so dumb

       Anonymous  12/23/10, 11:15 AM

POP...I'm so dumb

POPATFOYNDAA (Power Of Posting And Then Find Out You're Not Dumb At All), Heather. It was a very difficult maze game.

zoz,
I'm trying, but I will finish before Christmas.
By the way, great Minoto poem.

I couldn't get the 4-color code that keeps changing too fast on the box. When I clicked it stoped changing so I can't know the sequence. I want the colors!!!

belabomb,
The colors you get from the hints all around the rooms. I think it was green left and blue on the bottom, the other two I can't recall now.

NO, green right.

That was a small bug, I fixed it. All you needed to do is click them and then they will stop. It wasn't anything to prevent you from finishing, thankfully!

Small bug? I never encountered a bug?

@Selfdefiant - I thought that was part of the game!

@small-tool - I hope you take a break from the WT between now and christmas

@zoz - didn't realize it was San Simeon - thanks!

what is the code for the box in a room with a white key???????!!!!!!!!

Ana Marija,
What was that code about?

@ Self-Defiant. Thank you for a great Christmas present. Thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
@ To the rest of you - only needed your hints from the log onwards (but really needed them!) Thank you all.

@ Roberto.. those were the wrong pillars as you probably found out! The pillars with the colors on are inside in the pool room, you can click the top portion of the pillars and they change colors (order of the gems)

where is the silver key? help!!!

Bottom left rooms, left room, second row from the bottom.
Zoom in on the box to the right of the bed and use the first letters of the Italic words from the paper to open that paper.

S**t, to open that box I meant.

Whew!!!!! and out!!!!! Excellent!!!!

Finally, the walkthrough is completed. I hope it's correct.

A lot of bedrooms in this castle/house, wasn't it?. Did Selfdefiant meant anything by that, is he tired?

Well, looking back at it, there are a lot of mistakes about left and right. So if it isn't left it is right and the other way around.
Sorry.

which paper? where? italic words are URDL?

@small-tool - absolutely fantastic! That was a lot of work, so you're forgiven for any left/right mix-ups.

And looking back again, I see the last post is about 'take the' and that should be take the 'blue key'.
Aargh, such a great game, and a such a walkthrough full of typos and mixed up thingd. Sorry!

Elizabeta,
If the walkthrough doesn't help you, feel free to ask more. I'll stay up for a while to answwr.

Thanks annaby.
But I feel like rewritng it, but I'm afraid I can't. (yep booze again).
So Yalçin, if you ever gonna use this WT in a replay, please change/rewrite the mistakes.

lol @s-t, booze a necessity on a WT like that

Well, look at that;
thingd (instead of things) and
answwr (instead of answer).
Time to go to bed, almost Chrismas, oh my oh my.

And thanks again annaby. Very merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you.

and to you @small-tool

Thanks small-tool for the hard work, I did need a few things and you have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a wonderful escaping New Year!! Peace to all :-)

Great WT Small-Tool!

Amazing @small-tool! You deserve a long rest now!

50. ????????????????
maybe SuperSecretiveSpyGuy will give us a clue?

A game about Milly(millie!)?! How can I resist!!?? Plus it's a selfdefiant game! I am in.,.. had to review about 10 games today, so I am late... but excited for the Christmas surprise of SSSG and S-d. :)

@zoz- nice job on the coins!
I actually dreamed last night about finding the 4 I missed!

omg @annaby I tossed and turned all night looking for number 50 in my dreams! Weird, eh?

WHERE DO U GET THE BLUE AND GOLD KEY...IT'S DOIN ME HEAD IN THIS.

@BIG J, check small-tool's WT above; it's clear and easy to follow

@ Zoz... I played three times looking for coin number 50 (before you coin-though). I could NEVER find it!

Happy Holidays, escapers!!! Out with only help with purple gem and where to use directions clue. *pats herself on the back* This one was GREAT!!! Thanks SelfDefiant!

Warmest wishes to all of EG24, players, and of course to the game authors! Thanks for a great year of gaming! :D

@Enjoy, I've figured it out! Super Surreptitious Spy Guy swallowed key #50!

This comment has been removed by the author.

Zoz - found it. I wrote down all mine then used your coin-through to find the 3 I was missing. And checked off on your walkthrough the ones I'd gotten.

Ok - when you get to your # 36 you leave the red hallway and go off to the blue key room. Instead, go back to the red hallway and down. Coin is on table below middle-right window.

Same room that has the purple color clue for the 4 color (EWNS) box.

Don't feel bad - I only had 47 before using your walkthrough, so you got three that I missed!

wow, thank you @KathyK! And a Merry Christmas to you!

anybody still here? I can´t figure out the first code for door :-( Tried any combination
merry x-mas to everyone!

@Jennie_1179, read small-tool's WT, above.

Merry Christmas to you too, Zoz, and many thanks for that coin-through. I tend to miss those ones that are off in a bottom corner...I'll learn one of these days!

Merry Christmas to anyone still dropping in here, too.

can someone please give me hint for small box with arrows, like this <>V,thank u

@Cathy, see small-tool's walkthrough, part II, posted at 1:26pm on 12/23/10 (above)

hahahaha (or should that be ho ho ho?) out with a ton of help. Thanks to small-tool for the walkthrough, zoz for the cointhrough, and selfdefiant for an excellent game!

I finally had the time to play this one, and I must say it was a bit harder than the previous ones. I needed a bit of help from the above comments, thanks @all for that.
I got out with 48 coins and the Sneaky coin.

I missed this one.
But even if I'm late here, I'd like to congratulate (again) Selfdefiant for his games...
I regret that there isn't a sixth star to rate SD ones !

Thank you ;)

I hobe you are able to tell me were ist it, please.

--------------------------------------------------
Hallo zusammen.

Danke.

Well, according to the walkthrough (posted on 12/23/10 1:25 PM , somewhere halfway this page)
The sword is here;

BEDROOM (top left rooms, left room)
- Take the SWORD from above the door on the left.

And it says the silver key is here;

BEDROOM (bottom left rooms, left room, second row from the bottom)
- Zoom in on the box to the right of the bed. Now remember the clue from the second paper you saw (with words in Italic). So click Up-Right-Down-Left-Left-Down-Up arrow and take the SILVER KEY.

You can also select and play weekly and monthly most popular escape games from our right sidebar. You can post your comments, hints, spoilers and walkthroughs to help other players and you also can ask for help to get hints or spoilers from other players. If you don't want to get any help and solve the games yourself, you shouldn't scroll down the comments page for not spoiling your escaping games. Show your escaping skills by playing online escape games everyday. We also publish adventure games, point and click games, hidden object games, puzzle games, and riddle games. Good luck and have fun!
