@Zazie, you need to open the locked room upstairs with a PW.
Look at the shapes in the pic downstairs and relate it with the numbers on both sides of the leaf (hearts) and on the red flower (star)

The leaf is like a heart shape and turned over. well then it's like a turned upside down heart shape and the red flower looks like a star.
Lol Edgar, but I was here all the time but just didn't had anything to post because all the things I found were just found 'and posted' before I found them.
Nevertheless, fun game.

In case you still need help to get the knife. It comes from using the key that was on the lamp in the locker next to the sofa.
BTW, and in case you feel like not going through all of the comments looking for help regarding just one specific item? Press ctrl+F in your keyboard and enter the keyword you need to Find ;)
too funny...I was stuck for so long trying to add or multiply the 3 #'s...I love these games !

Walkthrough
Enter the room in front and note 3 on flower.
Come out and note 7 and 24 on leaf (flip it twice) in pot.
Go upstairs.
Go down and enter the code into the door and enter.
7324
Note io on the fruit.
In bed scene, click left and notice key you can't reach.
Go downstairs and left.
Take bowl from table.
Take ingredients from left cb.
Go left and take stool.
Go left and notice shape hint in pic.
Note de on fruit in basket.
In the room (door opened with code), use stool to get grabber and upper handle.
Now take the key with grabber.
Use key on locked cb to get knife.
Get oil beside the cb.
Use handle on cb in first room to get veggies and key below basket.
Back to kitchen, put veggies on chopping board and cut with knife.
Open fridge with key.
Take beer.
Note lic and us on fruits.

Make anagram of all the letters and put in code in freezer to get meet.
Now get the stove on, add oil, meat, veggies, beer and spices.
Turn off stove.
Transfer the stuff you cooked into the bowl.
Put it on the table and get coin.
Go upstairs the room to open with code.
Put coin in the cabinet and get key.
Use key on flower door and out.

where is key by basket? can't see it anywhere....got old lady eyes need some help here

Great 5 stars. Out with no help, except for finding the oil.
Nice game - language was not a problem, but it would be nice to see what the game maker says about things during the game.
