Wow - very easy out once you use scissors on black makeup case
I have scissors, key..and see 2 code boxes...where are the clues? I have not used scissors or key...should be easy...Is this the only scene?

Neither code works on drawer or case ?

zazie, you have to actually take teh card for them to work. not just look at it.
zazie - you have to open the eyeshadow case in zoomed view with scissors and take the card OUT - then the code should work

Well, Zazie...I had the same problem...and just gave up...I commented about using the scissors, that i was making it too hard...LMAO...don't really care anymore!!!!
@Zazie, I just played the game and never took the note either, just looked at it. It's a great site... being able to feel stupid together with such nice people :)!
Better to seem stuped and ask, than staying that way...

WALKTHROUGH
Take the green SCISSORS from middle part of the desk (you have to click it when zoomed – make sure it’s in your inventory).
Click the black make-up box in left side of the desk.
Use scissors on the box to open, and click the CARD to take it.
Note the two 5-digit numbers.
Click the drawer under the desk and enter the code to open.
Use the top of the two numbers on the card: 25874.
Click the grey BOX to take it.
Find a KEY on the desk, just left of the fan in far right side.
Use the key to open the grey box and get ANOTHER KEY.
Click the big pink jewelery box on the desk.
Enter the code and use the second key on the box once the code is there.
Get a THIRD KEY.
This code is the second one on the card: 65432
Use this last key on the door to the right to escape.

Because @Ellie went to the trouble to make a WT...I decided to give it another try!!!!!
I had to put the first code in 3 times before it would work...but, at last!!!! I beat this silly game!!!!
