A Snail Story is another point and click type puzzle-adventure game from belugerinstudios. Help Snalee the Snail to get to the top of the roof and meet his beloved Sneela. To do this you need to go through from the bottom floor to the roof and use the help of the the magic spheres to collect the needed items to help The Snail to get back to the roof. ok first live game for ages, going in

After catching the fly and giving it to the spider I now have to make a trampoline, but how?

Lot of items.
Tape, Spring,Outlet, rubber band, baloon, red switch, toothbrush, cheese, glue tube, gas can, lighter, SD, pink and blue gums, screw, green candy, scissors and pin.
How to catch the fly? Just drag pin and gum over it?
My phone doesn't work!? I can put it on 3 but when I try to do the 1 the 3 is gone again?
got a huge lot of «what», but it's too difficult & would take too much time I prefer to play to quickly tell all the «where» of each item collected... ;-D

stuck at trampoline also. I think I used scissors on something and have what looks like a rubber band.
This is very frustrating - can't read what items are and every attempt at combining drops the object

finaly caught the fly onwards and upwards
Made the trampoline. Combine tape and balloon and then put it on the tin can.
opened the save, got 6 keys.
I started to use TAB (keep pushing) for hopefully some hints/clues...

Hi, I accidentally killed the bug eating cheese and now I have his legs. But I did not find any marble.
@roberto - keep clicking on the snail and he gives clues
is the number on the teddy, but u need to hold down the arrow when u turn the knob.
@roberto, if you click on the snail he tells you what you need to do

Got some cockroach legs by putting cheese on plate and letting the screw falls on.

snail got up to where the cockroaches is
above pig hook with whistle, I put some of that blue glue (?) on that strange thingy with little «feet» & a red middle (an outflow?)...
Lol, I jumped on the dragonfly.
Combined pink gum and cockroach legs.
Used the tootbrush on the egg, to make it less slippery.
needa step on sth, but whaT?
I wanted to put the blue chewinggum like thing on the broken pipe & now my game is frozen - have to restart... :-(

LOLOL!! I always zoom my games to fit screen, so while loading there is a very small screen, I zoom it. The game finishes loading and it is gigantic...I restore size. I click play, and the game is tiny again, so I zoom it...the intro finishes and the game is gigantic again...and the cursor is inoperable!!! Looks like a fun, sweet children's game...sadly cannot play because all the strange pulsing and autozooming freezes my computer..have fun everyone!

Use screwdriver to drain the water.
My game froze as well, but the cursor made me dizzy anyway. So the snail has to stay there for now. Godd bye everybody.

I made a canon and am higher up now.
Put the gasoline in the bottle and then put the blue lid/cap on it. Use the match on the file to get gunpowder and put that on the cap, go on the bottle and use the lighter.

I went up with the lizzard (use the red thing on the switch on the right side) and used the nail on the hole in the wood and then the hammer, but my snail won't go up!?
after getting accomodated on this special playing of game, snail is really hurry up now...
after cleaning the greasy plate with toothbrush, on what shall snail step? all drawers are open...
eeek! - how gross, cockroach left her/his legs after eating cheese...

Ah, got it. Use the scissors on the string, then combine string with candy and then use it on the nail and jump on it.

To make a spider, combine the green gem with the bottle with black stuff and then the legs of the cockroach (combined them before with the blue gum) and put that spider in the middle of the web.
And now I have to fight the crow!?

In the end it was easy. All I had to do was attack. The crow didn't attack at all!?

I jumped from the plate with the egg area all the way to the bird at the top without using any of my other inventory! I simply used a green marble looking thing, dipped it into the black ink? thing and then combined it with the bug legs and gave it to either the bird or the spiders at the top and fought the bird and I'm out! Weird. I didn't go to the whistle, didn't need the safe, didn't use anything else.
How do you plug in the toaster?

This game is terrible. My cursor is blinking all over the screens. Refreshing here takes ages and my eyes hurt. I leave.
I really like this game. I think it's cute.
Only problem is, everybody just gave advice on all the easy stuff...but no one has mentioned how to handle the switches.
Maybe they're easy and I'm thinking too much about it.
I can get a little 'alarm' sound after I turn the switches on the water pipes the directions I thought they should turn. So, I'm assuming that's right.
But the electricity switches...I can't seem to figure those out. :-(

To the right of the teddy bear. But you have to switch the light on there before you can take it.
This is a really, really cute game. I love the storybook feel to it.
My only gripes would be:
1. Having to use the ESC key to release an object.
2. The website's logo 'BeluGerin' inconveniently covers the description of the items in the inventory.
3. The fact that I had to start over twice.
a.) Because, the first time, I had used the lighter on my bottle before attaching the 'gunpowder' substitute...and my lighter completely disappeared. So, I was stuck.
b.) The second time, I had put the red switch activator where it was supposed to go...but it disappeared. So, I was stuck.
Other than that, I thought it was a lot of fun!

WALKTHROUGH part 1
On the top right are two arrows to go higher or lower (if you hold your mouse on them, no need to click). If you click the snail button you go back to the place where your snail is.
With that arrow at the bottom you can show or hide your inventory.
When you have an item on your cursor and you don't wanna use it, click another item in the inventory to get rid of it.
When you combine items they go all the way right in your inventory.
Clicking the snail gives text to help you what to do at what point
FIRST OF ALL COLLECTING A LOT OF STUFF;
AT THE VERY BOTTOM
- Take the SAFETY PIN (to the right of the icecream glass).
- Zoom in on the brown thing the duster is on (on the bottom right) and take the MARBLE.
- Take the SCREW (below the fish can).
- Zoom in on the sawblade (bottom left of the fish can) and take the CANDY.
- GO UP A BIT.
BOOT ON THE LEFT
- Take the STRING and the SCISSORS from below the boot.
- Take the PINK GUM from the straw in the icecream.
- GO UP A BIT.
TEDDY BEAR
- Take the SPRING from the right leg of the bear.
- Look inside the chest of the bear to see the CODE (315).
- Take the TAPE from behind the left leg.
- Take the ELICTRICAL PLUG (from the shelf top left of the bear).
- Switch the LIGHT on (button on the red stand of the lamp on the left.
- And now you can take the RUBBER BAND and the EMPTY BALLOON from the right part of the shelf.
- GO UP A BIT.
PHONE & LAMP
- Zoom in on the phone and put the code (315) in to open it. To do that keep the right arrow pressed in till it's on 3, then keep the left arrow pressed in till it''s on 1 and then the right arrow again to go to 5. Take all 6 KEYS.
- GO UP TO...
TUBES/PIPES & CUPBOARD DOOR on the LEFT
- Open the cupboard and take the BOTTLE WITH BLACK STUFF.
- Take the RED SWITCH hanging in front of the right side of the cupboard.
- Zoom in on the mousehole on the bottom right and take the HAMMER and the MATCH.
- GO UP TO...
THE A, B, C, D, E, F DRAWERS
- Take the CHEESE and the TOOTBRUSH from the left.
- Open the top left drawer and take the GLUE.
- Open the bottm left drawer and take the FILE.
- Open the middle right drawer and take the BOTLLE CAP.
- GO UP TO...
WALKTHROUGH part 2
BOTTOM TOASTER
- Take the GASOLINE (to the right of that toaster) and the LIGHTER that was hidden behind it.
- GO UP A BIT
SINK
- Take the PURPLE GUM from below the left side of the sink.
- GO UP A BIT
THE TAP ABOVE THE SINK
- Take the SCREWDRIVER (left, next to the fan).
- You need more stuf, but for now it's enough. click the snail button to go all the way back down.
CLIMBING THE DUSTER at the VERY BOTTOM
- Put the string on the blue tip of the duster and then click the snail so he goes all the way up on the spoon.
CATAPULTING THE SNAIL
- In your inventory; combine the screw and the spring and put it in the hole in the little box on the spoon. Then put the marble on it and the snail is airborne.
SPIDER WEB, CATCHING A FLY
- In your inventory; combine the safetypin and the pink gum.
- Go down a bit so you can see the bottom horizontal string of the web on the right and put the gum with pin there to catch a FLY.
- Put the fly in the centre of the web and click the snail to go up.
ON THE HEAD OF THE TEDDY, MAKING A TRAMPOLINE
- Combine the tape and the empty balloon to make a trampoline and put it on the tin can. Click the snail and up it goes.
- Pull the chord of the curtains and further up it goes.
ON TOP OF THE CURTAINS
- Now it's a timing time. Click the snail when the dragonfly is close by (on the flower) so it jumps on the dragonfly.
TUBES/PIPES & CUPBOARD on the LEFT
- Put the cheese on the plate on the right and then click the screw above it to kill it. Take the COCKROACH LEGS.
- Click the snail to go further up.
THE EGG
- Use the tootbrush on the egg to clean it.
- Open all the drawers (except the bottom right one) with your keys and then click the snail to go further up and click it again to go to the...
TOASTERS
- Put your electriacl plug in the outlet and put both plugs from the toaster in and switch them on. Click the snail to go further up.
WALKTHROUGH part 3
SINK
- Go a little bit further up and turn off the tap.
- Use the screwdriver on the plug in the sink to drain the water
- Look inside the drain and take the GREEN GEM.
- Click the snail to go further up.
FAN & WHISTLE
- Timing time again. Click the snail when the whistle is far right so it jumps on it and the click the snail when the whistle is far left.
- Go a bit up to see your snail again.
BOTTLE
- Put the gasoline in the bottle and then put the cap on it. Click the snail, it goes up the bottle now.
- In your inventory; use the match on the file to get GUNPOWDER.
- Put the gunpowder on the bottle cap and then use the lighter on it and there the snail goes again.
SECOND SET OF PIPES
- Put the glue on the bottom part of the pipes and now the water makes a little fountain.
- Click the snail to go on.
HIGHER UP on the PIPES
- Zoom in on the thicker part of the right pipe to see the switches. Take the NAIL (bottom right).
- Make the switches in that way that there is power on the roof (if a red switch is up, the top wire is connect and down is down wire).
Anyway;
Top left one down. Top middle one down.
Middle left one down, middle middle one up.
Bottom left one up, Bottom middle one down.
And the other switches are not important.
And now we have power to taser the lizzard.
- Click the snail and it goes on the tail of the lizzard.
WALKTHROUGH part 4
LIZZARD RIDE
- Put the red switch from your inventory on the right part of that thicker part of the pipes and click it and the lizzard goes.
ON THE WOODEN BEAM
- Put your nail in the hole in the beam and use the hammer on it.
- In your inventory cut the rubber band with the scissors and combine it with the candy to make a kind of trampoline again. Put that trampoline on the nail and click the snail.
HIGHER UP the WOODEN BEAMS.
- Again a spider web and no more flies, so disguise yourself as a spider.
- In your inventory; combine the cockroach legs with the purple gum. Combine the green gem with the black bottle and then combine those two new items and you have a SPIDER.
- Go up a bit and put the spider in the centre of the web and up it goes.
CROW
- All you have to do here (after the conversation with the crow) is fight the crow with pushing the attack button a few times and then you're out.

I can't play this because of my minimal system, like nokra's. My computer had hysterics because of all the particle effects, beautiful though they are [watch out for that nokra, you and I have the same problem often =). It's particle effects - the pretty stuff around the cursor mostly in this game].
I wish I could play, but with small-tool's fine walkthrough I can at least see what would happen anyway, so thank you, small-tool =D

I liked this game, but couldn't finish it. When I got to the ABCDEF-drawers, my computer shut itself down. I restarted the computer and the game (didn't think the game caused the shut-off), but the same thing happened twice more (yes - i'm stubborn) so, something in the game crashing the computer.
I too got an item stuck on the cursor and couldn't access the inventory anymore, but it helped to click "i" on the computer keyboard. It opens the inventory again.
