Have also tried numbers from A= by counting to their positions 6739 -> 1735 and reversed but no go...
Leroy tried that in a decrescent way, no luck

but @GuruOne did you happen to see the rationale behind the answer whilst you were hacking?
From not hacking - numbers in A, ordered highest to lowest, use 6th number, 7th, 3rd, 9th as code for box.

243/27 =9 (first 3 digits of A) but doesnt seem to work for all the others...
I really hate to be a quitter, but I definitely don't think along the same lines as the game creator (a nice way of saying I'm dummm?)

yes it does leroy. It worked for me.
Got D!!! just take sections of A and do the math!!
divide the first three digits by 27. take the next four digits and subtract 12 from it. etc.
cleaned scissors and cut rope and now another code.
Got B now...
how did you get B already?
Easy Just remove all those numbers from A...

this one is simple too. you just take the digit of ABCDE that it tells you to. So take the fifth digit of A and so on.

I had my D and E codes switched the first time I did it. Could that be the problem you're having too.
I think the hardest part of this game wa trying to not over think it.
