I enlarged my screen (ctrl and the plus key) to make it easier, one of the notes is for the books, the other for colour code)
when I enlarge my screen it gets messed up! So need help

@testsite: which safecode? The one above the door bhind bars? Have you opened it already? Hint for that safe: it is two numbers in pink
Ok, got 2 pink numbers now... still safe isn't open.
By the way: Thanx Jonthewatch for the hint with the picture. I've tried it a douzend times to open it with the SD, but didn't get the right pixel.
And out, thnx all.... stupid me was adding pink numbers.... should have known just to join them.
@testsite: I think you have to use the left one first, then the one from behind the picture. Then click the lower right button (a miniscule 'OK' is on it)

SD under a corner of the left mat
So far... but now stuck
- get screwdriver from under corner of rug (left just above inventory)
- use screwdriver on picture on right over cabinet and note 3 digit number clue
- get silver key under corner of rug in front of door (right side)
- use silver key on top portion of cupboard on right (under picture), get book clue
- click the books counting from left to right according to book clue, get word/colour clue from safe
- use colour clue on gray box on the floor to the right side of door, get hammer
- use hammmer to break glass on cabinet under picture, get knife
- use knife on desk, get gold key
- use gold key on cage over door
- use 3 digit number clue from picture, and press the lever on the left of keypad
- look in trash can, get 4 digit number clue
- use 4 digit number clue over door, get 3 digit number clue from bookshelf
i have 3 pink numbers but they don't seem to open the safe
got first part of pink code (3 nos)... where is the second part? cant find anything in pic... must have clicked some 1000 times there :(
ah... I guess I just needed to hit the lever to get the clue from the trash can...

@sonriente: You are nearly out! The only mistake is that you have to combine the two pink numbers (you don't have to use the first three to get the number from the trash, just pull lever)

@akc: don't click on the picture, just move the screwdriver towards the nail in the wall above the picture- it will fall off.
Darn, always too late today with my hints. POP is just stronger than me... ,-)

BUG? Every time I look into the trash can I can't get out of this view nor touch any controls -> restart required
POP got it! There's this hard-to-spot green bar on the bottom of the screen that controls the trash can! I can't believe I'm the only one to have torn his hair out in bunches while figuring out how to do that!

When you look inside the trash can a little green bar also pops up at the bottom middle of the screen. Click that to close the trash can view.

Thanks anyway. I've run into another bug (?) meanwhile: my final key did not show up in the inventory! (whilst it did in the cage)
So I cleared my code, re-entered it and grabbed the key for the second time - and now I was out!

The "Zoom bug" is still unfixed... How sad, for such a game, where everything is really toooo little... I tried, but my screen totally messed up, I had to restart...
