And all the time I tried to use the stone on the sword instead of the other way around.

Where do you use the handle?
I can't combine the line, hook and (four pointed) arrow...am dragging them, but it's not working.
Must be a bug. Oh well, have to wait 3 days for a WT.
I give up. How do you start the game? Do you need a username and password?
Zoe, you need to combine the arrow (not the four pointed one) with the hook. Then use the line.
To start, there are three blue "words" in one line. Just click on one of them. I think difference has to do with how fast your internetconection is.
You don't need an username or password. Just choose a name you want to play with.
as usually need help, I cant find the stone to throw at the arrow. I had to restart, and now cant find that black stone.

hook and line won't go together....restarting game

you need also the arrow from crossbow for that particular combination...
Ahh, these folks have a sort of page redirection on their web server.
The admin has correctly specified the link as .../esc-games/escape35... but you will always end up on the /bh/qit.html page first and have to find your way through the Chinese glyph jungle...

Thank you premiere, that is a very cool way of doing spoilers lol.
So I can't use the 4 point arrow with the hook and line. But can't get the only other arrow in the room because it "is not safe to touch". too frustrating.
Lovely frustrating game... the only things I have still useful are the hook and wire. I have nothing to use get the "single" point arrow off the wall.

- take SAND with bowl
- take little STONE among the others
FIRE
- cover fire with sand from bowl
- take semifinished SWORD
- take crowBAR from niche (covered with plate) behind fireplace
- whet sword on smooth stone
- put chain on hook above trestle
TABLE
- open sealed bos with crowbar for HOOK & arrow-CROSS
- throw stone on crossbow for ARROW
- combine arrow with hook & line to make a HOOK POLE
DOOR
- take KEY with hook pole from drain
SKELETON
- use sharpen sword on green plate in pillar for arrow-cross-SLOT
- put arrow-cross in slot & turn it to open claws protecting keyhole left on wall
- use key from drain to keyhole for HANDLE

- install handle on round thing on trestle left of fire & pull it to open NICHE in wall with CODE BOX
- put code from cleaned table in box for escape KEY
