ahaa..let's see...

The letter on 3rd floor looks like it needs a number.
On 1st floor theres a darker spot on the gate.
I think first thing to do is find something for that darker spot so we can access 1st floor. But there's nothing there.
Hm ... the darker spot is actually a button you can press.
And you can press door lock after the door is open to prevent it from closing when you want to examine a floor.
And ... after all these observations ... I am still stuck.
2 minutes time for lurking here..hey cool and dark! so..we are with the 3 of us in the elevator :))
The "up" "down" sign, also the "L" "R" (LETTER) would be same as the board on 3rd and 4th floor?
Could be Polly, but no idea what to do with them.
LOL... same here, already try everything, we can lock the door in every level to check and inspect but nothing found. almost give up.
Somehow I have the feeling we need to do something with the colored arrows. But there is no clue for them.
Of only we could get that first step .....

Got an OK for clicking the L and the R, but what next...?
That's what I got on 2nd floor. But nothing happens.
Check the arrows beside the numbers on every floor...
ah ... got it, now all pictures on all floors have changed and show colored arrows like the ones nect to the elevator door.
But now what?
I noticed that the colors are different on each floor. But what does that mean?
@Cool: There are two arrows in the middle that are the same colour and pointing DOWN. These indicate the order. Then there are two arrows, "inside" the ones I just mentioned, that are either white or black. Press the correspontind buttons on the panel. Note: Lock the door.
Hi if you look at the triangles which are pointing down on each floor, you see : 5th floor = purple, 4th = red, 3rd = brown, 2nd = pink and 1st = yellow, i tried to go to the floors like the colours beside door show, but nothing happened.

Go to the first floor and click door lock, then click the arrows on the panel : w,b,w,b,b.
Then click the black button on the railing.
By the way: there's a little Tetris game in the panel at the end.

I noticed the colors and got the right order, but never noticed the black and white arrows. Out now. Thx.
Hmm, I'm afraid I need a hint.
Stuck at the very same part as some user(s) before me.
Got correct combination for "L" and "R" buttons and got an "OK". No idea how you are supposed to continue...I don't see any "arrows beside numbers". If you mean those that appear left of the floor numbers, they're always UP or always DOWN, depending on whether you travel toward the bottom or the top of the building...
POP Ah, got it now. You need to note down the directions when the elevator is NOT running. That is, stop at a floor, and then look AGAIN on the panel. The arrow pointing in that direction will be the arrow in the direction you have to press on the panel.

@KatesKat Make sure you're on the first floor and if you make a mistake, back out before punching in the code.

Really, I don't get it at all. What do you mean by "Combine L,R with the words on every floor according to the hint on first floor"? I clicked the L and R in the words in every floor, starting from the 5th (green being the first according to the color hint) and nothing happened.
And Lydia, when you say "There are two arrows in the middle that are the same colour and pointing DOWN." where are those arrows? Do you mean those on the 3rd floor?
Ok, too late, everybody's gone. Whatever! :)
