tikitty: All I can remember is you have to open one of the other doors (I think it's the green door) first to get to the blue door. I found the blue key first, too.
I'm trying to use the colors in AA for the box in N and it's not working. What am I doing wrong

after that click the button
The green key is in I. YOu need to buy a lantern.
It was a great game ! There were red crosses in a book, was it a red herring ? I didn't use this hint.
@Pascale: that was for the candles in F. pretty sure you used that hint ;)

- go 3x left & take SACRED JAR for orbs
- same room: note you need plunger for toilet...
- take 4 orbs (4/25), you need 25 for map
- go back right, collecting more orbs
- flip LEVER 1/4, take 6 orbs (10/25) & go right
- go right & collect 6 orbs (16/25)
- go & right & collect 3 orbs (19/25)
- go right & collect 6 orbs (25/25)

Selfdefiant, thank you for all those great games you create for us. I love them all, you always make my day better. Asylum series is my favourite, so scary, that I always try to get out as quickly as possible :-)
I feel silly to have to ask this, but I have all of the gems and no idea where to put them. Help!
Wow, that was one of the most elaborate and challenging Selfdefiant games in a long time! I managed to get out just 3 orbs short (assuming we needed 200). After searching and searching... and searching, I finally had to peek to find the Blue Topaz (thanks @Casual for that list!).

I know the hint for the box in N but I can't even get it with brute force. HELP! AA clue is there but I cant get the box to work!

@belfeckmalfan, think of the clue in AA as a clock.
On the box it should be:
green = 2 o'clock (2 clicks)
blue = 8 o'clock (8 clicks)
red = 10 o'clock (10 clicks)
yellow = 4 o'clock (4 clicks)
purple = 6 o'clock (6 clicks)
pink = 12 o'clock (0 clicks)

I knew this was going to be good the instant I saw the gorgeous intro screen image.
It's in the same class as the Axend game image.
As grannyrecipe says, the game itself is a masterpiece [not a mantlepiece? ;)] and it is a real pleasure to play.
The dark mist at the top of the first scene had me puzzling for quite a while, but I'm proud to say I got out without stumbling through comments for anything.
I love "earning" my own map and that lovely teleport crystal =)

IMO, I think it's unfair to clue 12-position dials with 6-position hint. This leaves 4 positions you have to brute-force your way through (is the upper right dial on 1 or 2? etc. for 16 possible combinations).
out with no help, but I don't remember how many orbs I found. A total orb count would be nice since we lose some when purchasing things.

I love these games, but now it's getting so frustrating... I don´t get into the room where I should buy the map, neighter thru the gate even if I don't find any lever I haven't flipped. I don't find the crowbar, don't know where to put the code I have (133) and I don't find any clue for the code on a box with different symbols.
Nevermind... I found another room to go downstairs at the beginning.. =) And I found more commends here! It's not so usual that the comments are on 2 pages =)
I usually play when the games are no longer live. But I really want to tell Self Defiant how much pleasure he brings to my life! And thank you to all the gamers who cheer me, unknowingly, along the way.
