well, Anja,
look later, then no more...!
;-)

It was nice to play a Selfdefiant game again, but I'm pretty peeved by the hidden links to CafeGames and JuegosDeEscape.

It would have been a really fun game if it hadn't have been for these two, notorious pop-up spammers ruining it.

Nice when puzzles make sense.

I have to agree with JR. We are here to play THIS game. Not anything else...
Anyway, it was a nice and easey christmas game. Sd always makes nice games.

Typical boring Selfdefiant game! The man doesn't seem to have realized that adventure games have moved on substantially since 1980.

yes, those stupid links away from game don't make sense and destroy playing mood.

Shame,

Kate

I had an extra lightbulb that was not needed. I liked this game, I quit playing the traditional SD games after the first 40 or so, look forward to these types though..

lol..that was a nice and easy game. I dont mind the links to cafecafe and juegos :)) They sponsored the game....so..isnt it that we are able to play the game with their help? Or do I see this wrong?

Anyway: i did have a good time while escaping ;)

@mrtelcom..high5..I do like these types of games too=)

Alkmar, I don't mind the sponsoring, I do mind the hidden links - paintings that look like they are part of the game, clickable as if they were a lead, a hint, a tip yet instead lead you away from the game.

Kate

To Siobhán Long's sister:
What you don't seem to realise is that some things are above petty fads and fashions simply because they are SO VERY GOOD!
Ever heard of William Shakespeare? Guy who died in 1616? You may not like his work, probably finding it "boring", but a huge proportion of us seem to have "not moved on" since the sixteen hundreds!
When something is truly excellent it doesn't age.
[Mind you, I expect you posted that comment just to get a rise out of his fans. Well done, you succeeded.]

Oooh I LOVED this game!! I didn't find it boring in the least!!! Suppose you just can't please everyone in this world. Shame.

I must admit that I found those hidden links very irritating.
I'll happily put up with the long adverts (normally you have to re-load after the Vodacom one as it freezes) and the multiple adds but those hidden adds ..... na.

Siobhán Long's sister ,
Sweetie, if you knew the difference between an escape game and an adventure game then you may find yourself disappointed less often. You are on the wrong site. Try searching for RPG games instead.

Yes it was a boring game this time. Come on Selfdefiant invent something new! But thanks for all the games you have made in the past.

cute game. Thanks, SelfDefiant!

and I forgot to mention that I don't like hidden links in games either. It makes me hesitate to click around everywhere.

Self-Defiant...I would play your games anytime, anywhere ;) Thanks so much for what you do...hark, but what is that I hear in the distance...*to play or not to play...that is the question...whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of Siobhán Long's sister
Or to take arms against a sea of malcontents and by opposing end them. To play, to sleep...To sleep...perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub,for in that sleep of games to come, when we have shuffled off all mortal tasks, must give us pause...*

@Rookwings...perhaps a rather *skewed* take on Shakespeare but ..... ;)

I am still trying to figure out what to do with that chartreuse-colored key from the Asylum that EG24 built :P

To irishenigma:
Simply beautiful!
You have a way of skewing which I frankly cannot match =D
As for that key? It's edible. You are supposed to munch on it and imagine your way out of said asylum, realising it never was real. ;)

lol @Rookwings ;) Aw thank you... :D I nibbled a little on that key and it has a nice minty-schnapps taste to it...WOW...has quite a kick at the end too... ;) Hmmmm...you were right!

A very nice neat game with simple graphics. Not too complicated and the experienced gamer should escape within 10 mins.

1. From the first scene facing the front door (note how clicking on the front door tells you the key hole is gold) click the pair of shoes to reveal a black key.
2. Collect the log which is hiding behind the treasure chest to the left.
3. Click the arrow on the right to move to the scene with the TV. Check each of the drawers in the chest of drawers to find a screwdriver underneath the Xmas card.
4. Move right again to the scene with the chequers game (Note the positions of the chequers form a pattern) and then move right again to the fireplace scene.
5. Check each of the Xmas stockings to find a yellow lightbulb.
6. Use the black key to open the door to reveal the bathroom scene.
7. Check the medicine cabinet and move the pots to reveal a book of matches.
8. Move the green mat to reveal a silver key.
9. Note how the colourful towels and mats are positioned in the colours Red, Yellow, Green, Yellow, Blue.
10. Leave the bathroom and go back to the chequers scene. Open the door with the silver key.
11. Open each of the cupboards finding another log and then using the screwdriver on the one that's stuck. Take the red lightbulb.
12. Click on the reindeer and turn it round to reveal a puzzle. Line up the sliders to the same positions as the chequers. This will open the reindeer to reveal a white key.
13. Move back to the scene with the TV and use the white key to open the door.
14. In the bedroom open the drawers of the bedside tables to reveal a log and move the pillows to reveal a purple lightbulb.
15. Move back to the fireplace scene. Place the three logs on the fire and use the matches to light the fire. Take the blue lightbulb.
16. Move back to the front door scene. Focus in on the treasure chest and remembering the colour sequence from the bathroom, click the buttons to match the sequence. The chest will open to reveal a green lightbulb.
17. Move back to the fireplace. Place the five coloured lightbulbs in the spaces on the tree. The gold key will appear.
18. Move back to the front door and use the gold key to open the door and escape.

Thank you Selfdefiant for ANOTHER great game, to me they will NEVER get boring! Some are easier than others but I always enjoy them (some days I prefer the easier ones when I don't want to work to hard and just enjoy it lol)

não conseguir achar a ultima lampada por isso não consegui finalizar o jogo ;/

Good game!

the color for chest is red yellow green yellow blue
