This was the first Gotmail game where I can officially say MADE. NO. SENSE.

Anyway, that piece of paper shows up AFTER you stopped the fan.
I had to restart this game because the wire wouldn't bend for me after I curled it to make a corkscrew. After I restarted, it worked. First I used it straight to get the picture from under the brick. Then I used it as a corkscrew with the pliers to uncork the bottle, and then I used the pliers to bend it to an L-shape to work as a lever to open the compartment behind the same brick.
Things may not happen in order, but they sure are getting a bit....off. Gotmail games used to have a story to them as well as translations. Heck, even the simple concept of "you're trapped in a room, try to escape" was good. But this sort of "escape" where you willingly lock yourself into a room you could leave at any moment is kind of lost to me.
But apparently the guy was there for a reason since he had help from the outside. Gotta say that seeing someone's foot as they were walking by sort of took me by surprise.
Anyway, thanks for all the hints and clues guys!

Actually there is a story to this. It's basically about this person who's working as a maid, and despite being promised to be let off work for Xmas presumably, he/she is being called back to work.
Then someone told her to go to the basement if she wants to get off work :D
As the story goes, to get off work, the best way is to stage a scene to make it look like someone broke in and escaped after injuring a person, thus getting the person sent off to hospital
anyone knows if it is standard in japan to learn english as the first foreign language (like in europe or most of the western world)? or is it more common to learn another asian language like chinese or korean? well, probably not chinese, out of the history-related background, but I'm sure you know what I mean...?!
of course, I like playing games in english much more, but I think escape games are nowhere as famous as in japan. and I wouldn't be suprised if the japanese market is just as big as the rest of the world alltogether...
I do understand if someone misses the "old" gotmail games, but nevertheless these games still are one of the best when it comes to graphics, difficulty and so on.
will always prefer a gotmail game instead of playing a lousy gazzyboy.

Without language barrier, Gotmail games would be way more enjoyable...
& sometimes I miss some logic in the actions...
I was stuck right at the beginning without having directions arrows & didn't even tried to put the plank at door, but played according to the vid WT:

Totally lost -- can't make much sense of the comments from the Japanese-only game (which seem to mostly spoilers from someone who played the game earlier).

I mean that "story". Made-up from A to Z! Realism rate: 0.01%
Hey yeah, the police are too dumb to distinguish concocted blood imitation from genuine blood!
As if there had never been any crime scene unit the last 100 years doing just that! (finding fabric fibers on a pullower that belong to a bathroom rug, thus indicating a possible fight before the murder)
Let's forget about this sorry effort ASAP.
1 star. (the only Gotmail game where I ever did this!)
P.S. For a starter, wine contains ALCOHOL. (quite a bit of it) And alcohol smells alcoholic. So even the smell of that dried "blood" would indicate that there must be something fishy about it! Plus, blood color is close to crimson. Remember that Tommy James song "Crimson & Clover" and HOW IT WAS MADE? (yeah something chemical) Seems this game was "made" the same "way" ;)
