block the wheels with the tape and use the pencil as a bridge

Tape goes on the gears to stop the clock... then pencil across.

Got past spider and now I'm in some sort of tunnel
the spider and the fly. Stuck here, have can opener, lighter, nail and cheese. can make fly move but spider wont.
For spider, put cheese and then click fly.

My mouse is now in some kind of corridor, with a cobweb at each end. I have torn up the cobweb near the exit, but my mouse won't move. There is also a stone that doesn't move either.

Cecilia works. 35391291 hard to pick up key though. Had to reopen 3 times.

sorry poor explanation about cats name. change letters to #'s like on blocks on floor.
Have tried the tape on the cogs. Wondering if my game is a bit tricky. It seems to be a bit squished. I can see 2 1/4 cogs, and four ladder sticks. Is my game skinny or is that the way it is? If so, my tape refuses to stick to any of the cogs

I have fed the dog and he's eating, but I can't pass.
clio-rose you need to use tape after you climb up. make sticks like ladder rungs, open box on floor and get tape then climb up. just click mouse and up he goes. Use tape in next scene
ah clio - you are one scene before
if you have the tape - make a ladder to the right
and walk the mouse up there
The tape goes between the two cogs closest to where the rat is standing. Just where the cogs meet

What's happening? I start the game, hear the music and see the mouse. I can pick up some things, but he switches very fast to the next scene, before i can do anything. I'm passing all the scenes you are talking about and then....the end, try again?

IN THE CONTAINER
Click on beige rectangle on top of the red lid to the container the rat is in.
Pick up can opener and wooden fork
Move salt shaker
tip over hot sauce bottle
Put wooden fork into the container
Click on the rat
BY THE TEA CUP
Take knife
cut ribbon on books
move teacup
Click bottom book to move pile
click next book up then top book to make a bridge
Click on rat
PENDULUM
click on the pendulum to stop it
take the lighter
move the eraser
take the mustard book and the apple rolls down
put the mustard book on top of the apple
click on the rat
CLOCK FACE
move the clock hands to 12
take the key from the (now open) top of the clock
use the key to open the drawer in the clock
click on the rat
9 BOX or BOTTOM OF CLOCK GEARS
take pencil
turn the handle of the box 9 times
take the tape from inside the box
straighten the wooden lines to make a ladder
click on the rat
TOP OF CLOCK GEARS
put tape into the two gears nearest to where the rat is
put pencil between the rat and the gears
click on the 4 screws on the panel above the gears (you don't need a screwdriver or anything, just click on them)
click on the panel to remove it
click on the rat
LEAF
click on leaf to reveal key
click on door and the key unlocks it
click on the door to open it
click on the rat
CAN
take nail
click on can to move it
take smelly cheese
click on the rat
COLOURED DOTS

put the cat's name, numerically, into the safe behind the picture (there is a spoiler in the comments above)
take the key from the safe
use the key to unlock the door
click on the door to open it
click on the cat and it will go out the door

move dog's bowl closer to cupboard
move milk closer to end of cupboard
click on the top of the milk to open it
tip the milk into the dog bowl
open the can with the can opener
put dog food into the milk in the bowl
click on the dog
click on the side of the cupboard facing you

RAT TRAP
put bomb on trap
use lighter on bomb

The mustard book will NOT go on top of the apple. It appears that there is a special "order" to moving the items. I moved the pendulum last not first.

Hmmm.... that was it. I restarted and stopped the pendulum first following the specific order in the walk through and this time the book went on top of the apple.
